541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARToken, Spectre, BitClave, Utrust, Swarm... on: October 22, 2017, 02:34:57 AM
Here's a few ICO's I am thinking of investing in when they're available...

Curious about ARToken tho.. it looks pretty good so far.. and seeing a lot of ads about it.

Opinions? Worth investing?

I think swarm is better, ico has just started and already earned 5 million dollars. I like and sure the vision of swarm ie.

Our vision is to allow anyone, anywhere in the world, to participate in the value creation within the crypto asset category and to capture opportunity in new types of assetbacked tokens, anything from distressed real estate to solar installations to rainforest preservation projects and many more.

Other options are utrust.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COSS - what do u think? on: October 22, 2017, 02:09:47 AM
The holders of COSS tokens will receive weekly revenues from the COSS DAO generating value out of transaction fees on the COSS platform governed by the Smart Contract System. Thus, the COSS token has inherent value attached to it since the very moment of issuance.

If this goes according to plan, then this will be very good in the future.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Need help about EtherDelta steal!!!! on: October 21, 2017, 05:35:10 PM
My Ether also got stolen by this adress: 0xa0A761fF5ba114A08e9420a71b93F02c4A089531
I think we are victims of a phising site called: etheridelta.com

Is there anything we can do about it?

Greetings

it's obviously phishing, the same site resembles etherdelta. if you want to visit the site, see its site address properly, check always, whether true or not, different one letter alone is clearly wrong.

examples of this case
etheridelta (phising) > etherdelta (true)
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HOW TO EARN BOUNTIES on: October 21, 2017, 10:09:20 AM
there are many ways to get bounty here, but not all, we also have to analyze and choose a good project and also a trusted bounty manager. try by following a social media campaign, if you hobby writing you can follow a blog campaign. there are many campaign options here and every project is different. choose a good project, so your work will be paid later and get satisfactory results.

find a variety of bounty here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to set up a company for a new crypto project? on: October 21, 2017, 08:10:50 AM
You can also think of Asian countries like Vietnam, Philippines where there is very less regulation

I would also suggest that Japan could be another option because they have actually legalized the bitcoin. So very easily the rules and regulations are laid down and things can be worked out without any tension as what will happen in future. Singapore is also another option where people are looking out to venture their company.

I agree with what you say and I think japan is the right choice. we know the Japanese are very open with the advancement of technology and it has been proven by its legal bitcoin in japan. In recent years many Japanese people are interested in crypto.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I already received my coins, they are in myetherwallet ETHD. on: October 14, 2017, 05:27:34 PM
I already received my coins, they are in myetherwallet ETHD.

Just a question they get stuck in, why can not I move them?
do you have an eth in your wallet to buy gas? minimum you must have 0.01 eth in your wallet for gas, otherwise you can not send or move your token to another wallet.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I speed up confirmation ETH on: October 14, 2017, 05:17:30 PM
Hello friends,
I have a big issue when sending the ETH to wallet of ICO. It's pending for 2 days already.
Looking at the block confirmation, it seems need a month to complete Sad.
Can anyone tell me how to speed it up?
Here is the transaction I sent:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0xd00d377f5a73ab325cf537cb2c51944ba457e4e8c55fcbcfaad1da2cb9c91c06

Please advise,
Thank you,

Do you use wallet exchanger to invest in ico?
I think for ico who use smart contract can not accept or send token or eth to wallet exchanger.
Please correct me if i am wrong.

549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference between ICO and Token sale? on: October 14, 2017, 04:53:29 PM
ICO stands for Initial Coin Offering, which is similar to Initial Public Offering.

IPO is selling securities.

If the coin represents an investment, ownership of other assets, pays dividends, etc., then it is a security. Unless the ICO has filed with the regulators, they are not allowed to sell securities.

Token Sales is selling tokens, preferably to be used in playing games or gambling. They should not represent ownership of other assets, pay dividends, etc.

No, not necessarily. It depends on the ICO and if they are claiming that they will pay a dividend.

Any ICO that claims that they will pay a dividend or that you will make a profit, you should be very suspicious and cautious for these reasons:

-  Technology startups rarely pay dividends.  Google and Facebook still don't pay dividends.
-  You should thoroughly understand how they will make the money to pay the dividend.
-  If they claim that they will pay dividend or provide a return on investment, then they are selling a security.  In which case, they are putting themselves on the top of the regulator's list, if and when the regulators start cracking down on ICOs for selling securities.  If regulators go after them, then the value of the coin will drop.

The explanation is nice and easy to understand. So far I think ico and tokensale are the same. Now I understand and there is a difference between ico and tokensale. Thanks for the information.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Cash speculation thread on: October 14, 2017, 04:37:22 PM
If the price is cheap why not, just buy it. But I guess you have to play fast, "buy cheap price, price rise (earn profit), sell", because I'm not sure if you make it a long-term investment. Whether it will be good in the future, only the market can answer it.

552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex Pump & Dump Telegram group #poloxpump on: October 14, 2017, 04:11:05 PM
So many pump and dump groups, is that a paid group? Or free? If paid they can benefit directly. If free from where they benefit? I still do not understand why they can signal for free.

554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much Ether gas on: October 14, 2017, 03:15:54 PM
This is perhaps a dumb question but I am wondering, how much ether gas is required for a token transaction? I am wondering in relation with all the e coins. I am assuming they would need a certain amount of ether to conduct all these airdrops.
Yes.. You are right, every coin transaction using etherium platform must use gas, if there is no gas we can not do transaction. I think the airdrop developers also spend a lot of eth to buy the gas they use for their coin distribution.

557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best browser for Etherdelta??? on: October 05, 2017, 05:34:33 AM
Can't seem to sign up to this and it doesn't seem to load on my browsers (safari, chrome, puffin).
Any ideas?

I only use chrome to access etherdelta, there is no problem and it is safe, indeed sometimes its old view out may be just because the network only.
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any news on Bitshares? Big dump today... on: October 05, 2017, 01:48:17 AM
I do not know why this can happen, whereas bitshares are one of the best platforms I know of. I am looking at bittrex current price bitshares 1295 satoshi, is this price drop caused by delisted issue in bittrex?
