1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: August 19, 2018, 09:53:14 AM
How can the government discover I own BTC, let's say I'm from Venezuela where crypto is banned, what they can do to discover and arrest me?
of course by the wallet that you used like coinbase? but i dont know if how they will track it maybe when you have a lot of withdrawals but tracking btc to you wallet is not good because thats your money and we need to keep it privavcy.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: August 18, 2018, 07:05:48 AM
I do not have too much knowledge about the trade so I choose the form of long-term investment to invest in this market. The main thing that I do before every investment is to spend a lot of time researching good projects for a few months. Long-term investment also helps me get more profit than short-term trading.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: August 16, 2018, 03:58:03 AM
Here's a guide on how to do cryptoinvesting.

An excerpt from http://cryptodime.net/how-to-pick-the-best-cryptocurrency-to-invest-a-guidline-to-trading/

If you have decided that you want to jump into this rapidly growing market, then there are some very important things that you need to understand. In this guide, you will learn how to choose the best cryptocurrency investment for you. We will also analyze a few hot currencies, to kickstart your research. Keep in mind that this guide focuses on long-term investing strategies and NOT active trading.
The Best Cryptocurrency to Invest in is…
Anyone who tries to tell you that the “X” cryptocurrency is the absolute best cryptocurrency to invest in, probably has a very large vested interest in it. In reality, there are will mostly likely be several big winners in cryptocurrency. It’s like the dot com boom, where companies like Microsoft, Oracle and Google ultimately became blockbuster investments. But you only made money in those investments, if you understood why they were good investments AND you had a reason to keep those investments for the long term. Otherwise there would have been a big temptation to sell them as soon as you made a little bit of profit. If you don’t understand what a cryptocurrency does or why it’s valuable, then don’t invest in it. Many of these cryptocurrencies are going to be a passing fad.

There will be a select few cryptocurrencies that will be great investments. Bitcoin has already shown us the potential. But the majority of coins will fade into obscurity. Since nobody knows which ones will be huge winners and which ones will be epic fails, we believe that the best investment strategy is to have a portfolio of currencies. Putting all of your eggs into one basket is a recipe for disaster. You don’t have to understand every single technical detail of each currency. However, you should read a lot about a currency that you want to invest in and make a very informed decision.    That is the only way to find the best cryptocurrency investments.

it depends on you sir but if you wamt to get a good profit so fast try to invest in top 10 or top20 cryptocurrency and find if the crypto price is too low than before i think that is a good idea to choose because its not all about cryptocurrency its all about how many ymthat you will get.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is Bitcoin? ✅ on: August 15, 2018, 01:07:02 AM
Bitcoin is well known for its safety. The biggest dangers are mainly hacker attacks on third party services, through which one accesses his bitcoins. These are above all the various crypto exchanges on which the users have created accounts or the bitcoins stored locally in wallets.

Basically, either the exchange itself is directly attacked, so that data can be stolen there. The biggest known incident was the hacker attack on Mt.Gox about 4 years ago, when a huge hack of Bitcoins was looted. This was also the reason for the decrease of Bitcoins 2014.

Today, the exchanges have improved to prevent such occurrences, because it can come to hacks and the trade is severely restricted or even stopped completely. This often leads to strong price fluctuations, mainly caused by so-called panic sells.

An equally large attack surface offer individual mistakes that can easily be prevented. Individual mistakes are the responsibility of individual users and are often:
- insufficiently secured user accounts due to weak passwords
- Login on a phishing site
- send the private keys to a scammer

If a stranger has once gained access to your own accounts, he can quickly transfer the entire balance to another wallet and due to the anonymity, it is no longer clearly comprehensible. For such a kind of total loss helps therefore only a careful handling with your personal user data.

But as long as you follow to the usual security rules and pay attention to secure passwords, which you should also change from time to time and do not use the same password on many other pages, an accident normally cannot happen.
The high demand and high competition between exchanges has also contributed to the improvement of safety standards.

How make you sure to safe your Bitcoins?

just save it in a offline safe files like your password or private keys email and etc dont save it in some online storage or try to use a wallet that have a high trust in your country because in my country coin.ph is the best and secured wallet .
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you still holding when market price falls abnormally? on: August 14, 2018, 12:27:13 PM

6  Economy / Economics / Re: Factors that affects the value of bitcoin... on: August 14, 2018, 07:26:32 AM
Hey guys,  i need some suggestions and opinions about this.
the factors for the bitcoin decreasing and increasing is  in the news so a lot of people panic to sell their coin and i think this is a fud only because whales want to buy a lot of  bitcoins when the value is too loww even have a bad news sell and buy again and you will win.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN = FUTURE on: August 14, 2018, 06:10:46 AM
Who is that person who would not invest in his or her future? what awaits such kind of person, i asked about 50 friends and their answer was POVERTY, some says DISASTER.

It is normal for people to be scared as they are not sure of what the future holds, they panic, they fear as no one knows tomorrow, we are uncertain of what would become of us in the next 10 minutes.

The only way we could atleast be sure of a better future is by investing greatly into the future, we invest our resources, our strength, we go against our parents sometimes to pursue what we think is better for us that would be beneficial to our Tomorrow.

                                                          BITCOIN = FUTURE

I believe so much in Bitcoin that i staked all of my resources, i had to even talk to my wife to allow us sell our house so we could invest in our future and that of our children and i must tell you that it is really paying off, we bought 5BTC this year when it was dip around 5000 dollars, and i believe you all know what the price of BTC IS TODAY... This is my first post on this platform, i'd decided to do this so as to have a platform to refer doubters and people with no foresight to when BTC hits 100 thousand dollars before middle of next year 2019
bitcoin is a future payment system and its like a gold but theres a lot of peoole got loss a lot of money so i think this is bad so if you dont have any knowlwdge and information about bitcoin dont. inveest so mucj read more and then of you are ready then go invest and dont regret.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: August 13, 2018, 04:36:49 AM
Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it

Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.

You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons
i cant stop to say bitcoin is not investing cryptocyrrency because  investing in bitcoin is the one needed and because of investing the value bitcoin is still volatility and  maybe it called trading but entering money here is a type of investing .
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: August 12, 2018, 08:23:45 AM
We all experience being financially challenged and we cannot deny that money makes us revolve around it. When we find ways to alleviate our financial suffering, we stand our ground and spend so much effort just to see the result and of course, benefit from it. Do you think that spending time and effort to gain bitcoins is a rational idea? Do you think that you could've been wasting your time? Let me know about your thoughts.
i spend time on bitcoin by reading and learning about the chart and what is bitcoin is because i want to get a lot of information in tis because i know that this type of currency will replace all banks and maybe fiat currency .
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you approve this strategy: sell alts buy btc? on: August 10, 2018, 10:57:57 AM
I read this article, but I want to see opinions, would you sell all your alts to have only bitcoin now ? I don't think this is recommended

https://cointelegraph.com/news/buy-bitcoin-sell-your-altcoins-says-pioneering-wall-street-blockchain-analyst
i dont want to sell my altcoins because i know that it will become more worth it than to convert in into bitcoins  last year ill get a lot of money by holding this altcoins so i hope thid year  my holding will become more worth it hopefully.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading Bitcoin for real estate? on: August 09, 2018, 06:04:11 PM
I am wondering how many of you are selling your bitcoins to buy something solid like real estate as backup investment? spread the eggs!
trading is for a rich people only but now? ii can say cryptocurrency is the only one that all people tried to trade and to invest a good amount or small amount of money because of the trading sites theres a lot of markets now that people can buy and sell cryptocurrency so i think this trading is for real states.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: August 08, 2018, 06:33:02 AM

13  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason we pay taxes and why we should on: July 19, 2018, 04:05:55 PM
If you are walking on the road and enjoying a nice day at the nearby park it's all because someone paid their taxes.
Taxes helps a lot , I have seen people frowning over about how they don't want to pay any taxes and as such.
Government ensures that if you earn over a certain amount then for sure you can contribute in the making of your country. It's only if you are able to.
Taxes helps in :

Paying the salary of government employees
    Making of roads
    Public schools
    Parks run by the government
    Maintenance fees
    Making government hospitals
Making high schools ... The list is endless

We all use all these services at one part of the life or other therefore we can just consider it a little payment for that .
People frown how government is corrupt , it is but not entirely if it was then you woont see new projects coming up in your town or city.

It's just our responsibility to pay taxes, we shouldn't run from it because it will more or so be used for everyone out there in your country , you are indirectly helping others too through paying them , the less advantageous ones.

Also one might say government can print all the money they need , but that's not the case ..the more money a government prints the lower the value of their currency gets which genrally have adverse effects in many sectors.
Tax do really help from little things to big things we have on our community. The products we buy  from the store do have taxes, from our wages on work and many more. Our taxes funds services also for us and for the country, we pay tax for paying the government employees whom secures the safety of the people which is police and firefighters whenever emergency event happens.
14  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to start buying bitcoins? on: July 17, 2018, 05:33:00 PM
Im a newbie both in this forum and the cryptocurrency subject, so I had been reading a lot and studying in the last couple weeks. But I still have some doubts. I always see people saying that there is a bubble in the bitcoin market and that there are many people who own big ammounts of bitcoins and can manipulate the market, so i dont know if now its a good time for a person who doesnt own any bitcoins yet to start buying then (i planned to hold them for a long time, not trading beetwenn exchanges) or if i should wait more. I also see fear about corrections and dont know well how those work and if they have an specific time to happen. Anyway, sorry for my bad english and thank you for the replies, even though I know im te only one responsable for my money.
Every time is good time to buy bitcoin because the value is non stop to fluctuate and best thing is much favorable is increasing of value you can make good income in that also if you learn how trade bitcoin to fiat is much better you can take the advantage of fluctuation of the value that is what i did to increase to amount of my bitcoin.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you wait to prove them wrong about Bitcoin? on: July 14, 2018, 05:47:38 PM
I think a lot of people around us has told us that Bitcoin is a FAD or a SCAM or a Ponzi scheme.

Some of our closest relatives have told us to SELL before the BUBBLE will burst. {guess we hear that enough?}

The media is telling everyone that Bitcoin is the tool of criminals and terrorists and child pornographers and paedophiles.

Most of these people are not invested in Bitcoin, but it looks like they are looking for reasons to attack it.

How many of you want to prove them wrong? I sometimes look at these people and I think... WTF are you on about?

I seldom bring up the subject anymore, because everything coming out of their mouths are negative. The only time when they

are interested, is when the price hits a all time high. Then they want advice to invest in Bitcoin and when they buy at the ATH,

and the price drop with 10%, then they panic sell....lose money....blame Bitcoin. I am sooooo sick of this.

I hope we can finally prove them wrong in the near future, because this is definitely getting under my skin now.  Roll Eyes
A lot of my friend also has said that sinced I joined into crypto world I just make to much dreams on it,  you can't even earn money from it. But I told them with the result,  I improved them with what I can got from bitcoin, and they started to trust me. The things about some people say that bitcoin was criminal tools and terrorism was really funny topic tho, they never going deep into crypto world actually,  they just saw the bad news of bitcoin which is we need to ignore it.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: July 13, 2018, 10:13:57 AM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?

I don't think bitcoin is too slow. Yes, bitcoin transaction is slower than Ethereum and other altcoins. But It is improving day by day. Blockchain Network is being fixed to make bitcoin faster. And, the bitcoin has no competition. Because the competitors need to be Equal. And I think there are no coins in the market which is equal to Bitcoin. Bitcoin will fly after few months. We have to keep supporting and spreading the good news about bitcoin.
17  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinNews: #1 In Blockchain News on: July 13, 2018, 05:05:28 AM
Hello cryptocurrency enthusiasts, traders, investors, innovators, miners, and advocates! I will be posting BitcoinNews articles and videos in this thread, from https://bitcoinnews.com/ . We cover the full spectrum of Bitcoin, blockchain, and cryptocurrency news with about 10 new stories being published per day. I hope you find the videos educational, and I will always be checking in to answer any questions, comments, or critiques.

To start, here is a video about hyperbitcoinization, an optimistic way to start this thread  Smiley

Hyperbitcoinization: The End Of Fiat Currency, $100M Bitcoin?

Hyperbitcoinization is defined Bitcoin commentator ObiWan Kenobit as “a theoretical state wherein Bitcoin displaces legacy currencies and becomes the dominant if not only method to exchange value”. Hyperbitcoinization was first discussed by Nakamoto Institute founder Daniel Kraswisz in 2014, and ObiWan Kenobit thinks it could lead to Bitcoin prices as high as USD 100 million per coin.

and yes i believed that bitcoin can reach that value but not now maybe after 20 years so its more good to hold it than selling it in a  low price and if you have a faith that bitcoin will increase more buy more when the value is too low and you will become success in the future sureee 100 percent.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: July 13, 2018, 04:40:25 AM
I'm not referring to the price of Bitcoin (we all know it's going to be $250,000/coin by 2022), but the goal that it would be a legitimate alternative to inflationary government fiat currencies.  When the altcoin market is examined, it is inextricably linked to the price of Bitcoin.  Where Bitcoin goes, so does the rest of the cryptocurrencies.  There's even somewhat of a dismissive attitude toward other crytpos in some investment circles; strangely this was a similar sentiment held by those "respectable" investors when Bitcoin was in its infancy.

What do you think?  I'd love to hear from some crytpo veterans.

Even experienced experts in the field of cryptocurrency ,no one knows exactly when bitcoin will rise up and how much it will cost max.I don't know what month, but this year. Bitcoin will break last year's record and may rise even higher than 30000. Everything will depend on how soon the market will receive large capital.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: July 13, 2018, 04:19:34 AM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.
Some bank officials in my country have already express support on the use of cryptocurrencies but there is still no plans to open a deposit for a cryptocurrency. A law might still be needed to enact first before government gives approval to any bank that wanted to allow a bitcoin deposit.

20  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there manipulation of sharks ? on: July 12, 2018, 08:49:41 AM
I feel that sharks (Big traders) haven't collect enough Bitcoins. You can see that there were scandals when Bitcoin price rose. The scandals were exchanges hacked, China suppressed Crypto, etc whenever Bitcoin price up.
It's not a good news for Bitcoin and prevent price rise but it still rising, is this a signal that Bitcoin coming back ?
How do you think about it ?. I want to know your opinion Smiley.
Thank you Smiley

of course theres a lot of manipulation in cryptocurrency because they have a power to control the value of all cryptocurrency so this is sad  to know whales or shark is the one who gets a lot of money so i can say its more rich people become more rich and thers a lot of poor people become more poor because they invest or enter in the world of crypto that didnt have any knowledge.
