At the beginning I was buying bitcoin from Paxful. Many people at Paxful are very honest and trusted, although Paxful has receive some negative reviews on the internet. I have bought also bitcoin from Spectrocoin, that was very good for me. At Paxful you havve to discuss with the seller of the bitcoin and you have some conditions, at Spectrocoin it is very simple to do this. It took me 5 minutes each time to transfer the money, buy the bitcoin, and withdraw the bitcoin.
Paxful is good and all if you know who you are dealing with, a lot of the accounts are bought and sold and there are serious scams being carried out there. I'd advice the OP to steer clear of paxful as a newbie, same as the currency exchange section of this forum.

I am having the same issue with blockchain.info.... I have searched high and nigh online with little success on how to sign messages. apparently, You can sign from messages from very old addresses but not with the new ones. If anyone has an idea please share. It is ironic that they allow message verification, but wont allow messages to be signed.

Lol @ this thread, imagine if there were no panic sellers? Then there would be no trading, and no low prices coins. Panic selling is not peculiar to bitcoin and altcoins. It happens in the stock market and more so in forex trading.

The obvious one, not buying bitcoin when it was dirt cheap. Then buy at $100, and offloading them at $450, thinking I had scored a fantastic deal. Hindsight is wonderful, isn't it. Oh! How I wish, it does not work like that. Not even the longest term holders dreamt it will be like this.

I say that bitcoin is now strongest currency in online world.
Strongest crypto currency? Yes. Strongest online digital currency, I'd argue NO for now. Paypal as much as I hate them are number one for online payment. It could change soon, what is happening now with bitcoin is unprecedented.

They have moved from sending ico newsletters to spamming me with infected links and viruses. This is a very sad development. I recently received a phishing link disguised as if it was from blockchain.info, and I almost fell for it.

From here on any thing can happen, ever since it busted 5000, seven thousand looks likely, October has another ten days to go, watching this space. Its been a great year all round for crypto currencies.

There isn't a good amount to buy. I guess as much as you can afford to buy is a good amount. Who knows with this bitcoin thing, it could be a bubble after all and could bust soon enough. Personally I hold whatever I get paid in bitcoin and I invest 10% of my monthly income into it. Fingers crossed, it's not a bubble.

Hello to everybody,
I have question about chart analysis. Are there any differences betwen chart analysis in traditional stock exchange and crypto exchange? Considering that the crypto exchange is much more emotional in decision making? Can we use exactly the same analysis techniques or do we have to adjust them to our crypto reality? If yes, please give me some tips what I have to change that the analysis would be more accurate.
I am not sure about crypto trading being influenced more by emotions as opposed to other types of trading. The basics of trading are the same everywhere. Sometimes decisions have to be made quickly other times not so fast, they are alll the same and the respective analysis charts should work - assuming accurate - each way.

It is very possible, adoption is key however. The more people that buy into bitcoin, the higher the price. Market forces are in play here and logic suggests that the current run will continue as more people see the need for a decentralized currency.

Both ethereum and bitcoin are very good investments, Eth seems to be stagnating around $300. This could be because outside icos and trading ethereum isn't being adopted much. I expect that it will be soon enough, but until that happens the price versus $ wont increase by much.

It still isn't clear to me how to verify a transaction in pos, has that been clarified? I will be nice if this is made clear or if someone points me to a thread that explains it. Thanks in advance.

Buy one bitcoin and relax, what is the worst that can happen? Bitcoin has become a serious player, In the bus on my way home from work today, I overhead the conductor and an elderly passenger discussing it and wondering if to join the train. It may turn out to be a $5000 gamble in the long term, but in the next few weeks, you will definitely profit.

It is low key not a scam. There are several coins like that. That a coin or token is hyped to the heavens does not mean it is not a scam. As a matter of fact the bigger the hype, the higher the chances of a token scamming. People that spend all that money are expecting some sort of ROI.

Is this not dangerous. Even when bitcoins are mixed, a thorough audit can follow a trail. Most drug users and addicts don't even bother with proper opsec. And I have read of cases where people died ingesting drugs bought in the deep market places, even though others swear by their quality. Overall, this should be avoided.

one is a clone and not needed but is doing well. The problem with bitcoin cash is what happens to it after subsequent forks amid more airdrops.

I really dont know what to think, on one hand I think they are about to bolt and run, on the other hand am hoping they have a good reason. I was able to withdraw my assets just last week, but I know one or two people that have their accounts blocked.

If you check the scam accusation section, you will find numerous complaints against bitterex. Something is wrong and it looks like patrons will be losing a lot of coins.
