1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience is important on: August 19, 2021, 11:17:37 PM
Patience is one of the determinants of our success here, but not everyone can do it.
Cryptocurrency prices that fluctuate high make some people afraid to wait too long, even though it often happens when they sell coins suddenly the price of the coin increases high.
If we often experience this, then we really have to practice our patience, because this is very important for us to have in Crypto investment/trading.
Patience is needed in many ways, it makes us wiser in making every decision. Surely you also know that many newbies are impatient when they first join crypto, wanting to quickly profit and get rich. even though the crypto world is not as easy as imagined. we have to be patient to learn, which is important to use to adapt in a volatile crypto ecosystem. when the price goes down or up we will be calmer because we have made anticipation to deal with it.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of cryptocurrencies are fraudulent on: August 19, 2021, 09:22:07 PM
If a person cannot be convinced of what Bitcoin can offer despite all the technical developments and the possibility of its global acceptance, it is natural for him to see that the huge number of altcoins is considered garbage and does not deserve a quarter of the current market capacity.
Frankly, everyone who invests in altcoins is trying to buy an illusion that may not come true one day.
even just aiming to make an instant profit, so take advantage of the hype to make a profit and then throw it away. Of the many projects that I participated in, only a few projects continued to survive and develop their projects according to the roadmap, most of them did not even last for a year. after the sale period is over, listings, high price struggles, then gone.

but not crypto if not filled with surprises. Projects that we initially take for granted don't even have any real functionality that can last and get even more attention. For example, Doge, who would have thought it would go crazy some time ago after being tweeted by someone you know for sure who. moreover there is a project upgrade, where Vitalik butterin will be the new advisor in the team, woww... https://news.bitcoin.com/dogecoin-foundation-elon-musks-adviser-ethereums-vitalik-buterin/
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC Volatility More of an Advantage than Disadvantage? on: August 19, 2021, 09:02:28 PM
volatility brings profit or loss, it depends on the ability of each individual. For those who can analyze the market, of course, volatility is an opportunity to make a profit, with a number of analyzes using the available indicators, it can be used to determine the direction of price developments. while for those who do not have market analysis skills, the unpredictable high price changes will actually frighten them.

well, some like a challenge, and some don't. Understanding market analysis and participating in the waves of volatility is one way to make a profit in the crypto world. there are many strategies that can be used, learn ... and find the strategy that best suits your abilities
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 19, 2021, 08:49:43 PM
the propaganda against bitcoin will continue because so many individuals have no full understanding of what bitcoin and the decentralized payment system are, and some others who have prior knowledge are anti-bitcoin or belong to the government.
there are also those who enjoy a centralized system too much, so that when a decentralized system is present, it will make them feel uncomfortable. so that the assumption arises that bitcoin is dangerous, can be used as a tool of crime because it cannot be monitored etc. in fact, bitcoin and crypto in general are very useful if we are able to use them well. After all, it's not only bitcoin that can be used as a crime tool, even fiat can too, there have been many cases of illegal trade and even money laundering involving direct fiat.
so it's good we study this well so as not to miss the development of technology and finance.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge gains and still holding ? on: August 18, 2021, 11:08:41 PM
This can only show that there is too little experience, lack of understanding of the market, and failure to take profit in time. This is done to avoid turning profits into losses. I have done it before, whenever something like this happens. I will regret it, but it is useless, like a stop loss, once you reach the point you want to sell, you must sell to prevent more losses.
we should really realize that crypto is full of surprises, prices can go up or down unexpectedly. regret is also useless, as you said, it will only damage our mental. it's better to let it go and be more grateful for every profit we get. thus we will enjoy enjoying market price fluctuations more.

Don't push yourself too hard to reach the target so or so, if indeed we need funds then just withdraw if it's profitable. it's useless if we can't enjoy what we're fighting for, right?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your thought about New projects? on: August 18, 2021, 10:43:40 PM

Sometimes it happens that the new project does not receive enough financial support, they do not achieve ICO, IEO, IDO, STO, so it is normal for many to disappear.
But I have also seen that some manage to raise the funds but the team has NO experience or they are scammers and they simply disappear leaving investors losing.
I recommend that before investing you study the project well, mainly the team, that there is a great community supporting and good partners, this increases the level of success of a project.
There are projects that really fail because they do not succeed in attracting market interest, maybe because of poor fundamental support, their function is not attractive, or there are no beneficial supporting partners.
there are also projects that were originally planned as a fraud mode, so that they made a lot of fakes, then disappeared after getting some funds from investors. sometimes fraudulent projects are also quite difficult to analyze, so if you do not have experience and knowledge, you should choose a project that is ranked at the top of d cmc.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you recommend staking? on: August 17, 2021, 09:38:54 PM
I prefer investing and slow trading, secure staking has too small interest rates for crypto market. The only coin I stake from time to time is BNB - I use Binance Vault for this.
if you have the ability in market analysis and sufficient experience then trading is indeed the best choice, by taking advantage of price volatility to make a profit.
if you don't have market analysis skills then staking is the best alternative to get passive income, but you need to carefully review the platform or exchange where you do staking, its security must be really ensured because we deposit assets there. Staking is quite effective for those who have difficulty keeping up with price volatility.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: August 17, 2021, 09:17:48 PM
After 100% vaccination the world might slowly be back to normal. It will start the daily activities, out door trip, and of course the economy growth. And what about Bitcoin? Of course people will have more money and might invest in Bitcoin, but I assume it cannot pump the price aggressively. Bitcoin has its own system and has a team working behind the scenes. Covid 19 has nothing to do to increase or dump Bitcoin price unless done purposely in coincidence way.
Vaccine is one of the keys to success to get out of this prolonged pandemic. Hopefully herd immunity will be formed soon and we can return to normal activities. Hopefully there will be no more conspiracy, so that this vaccination can run optimally.

based on my experience, since this pandemic many of my friends have joined crypto, some have also asked me to teach them. this is a result of the difficulty of making money offline, many offices being closed, trading activities restricted, etc. so they look for alternative jobs online. If generalized, this pandemic also has a positive impact on the development of bitcoin, where more and more people know and are familiar with the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin increase wealth equality? on: August 17, 2021, 08:44:12 PM
The real basic wealth of the ability of a diligent person to always follow and enter in a bitcoin market movement..
from small things are always collected and do not need to have large capital to achieve wealth with bitcoin..

In this case, we must be patient and consistent. buying a small amount is not a problem, as long as it is sustainable, if it is collected over time it will be more and more. This is similar to the DCA strategy, where we buy assets with fixed capital and are carried out for a certain time continuously. for example, buy bitcoins every month by setting aside 10% of income. This is quite effective for those of us who lack market analysis skills.
Either way, bitcoin offers an opportunity to get rich, if we don't become people who have the ability, we hope that we become lucky people. a lot of surprises in the crypto world, enjoy and take advantage of it.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency bad for the environment? on: August 16, 2021, 11:49:25 PM
-
There is no requirement in Bitcoin mining industry that electricity should be generated specifically from the fossil fuels. The miners use electricity from the national grid and therefore it is not their responsibility to check whether the power generation is done using renewable sources or not. If the environmental activists are so concerned, then they should request the government to shut down all the coal-fired power plants and pay double price for energy that is generated from solar or wind powerplants.
this makes a lot of sense. because the miners and companies only use the available ready-to-use electricity. other big companies that also use big electric power should be protested as well.
however, if anyone wants to build a renewable alternative power generation facility, it will definitely have a very good impact on the environment. if there was a crypto company that pioneered this, and it did well, there would definitely be no reason that crypto mining could harm the environment.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Incredible stories of Bitcoin millionaires on: August 16, 2021, 11:29:23 PM
That was incredible yet unbelievable story of how the person that the OP have mentioned accumulated such a big amount of Bitcoin even without putting up an investment through fiat and those have gathered only by just donations. Maybe at that time Bitcoin was just a small amount compared for today and if that person have managed to take into hold with those Bitcoins for years since accumulation, he would really be a multi millionaire as of the moment that Bitcoin's price have boom compared to what it have before.
the crypto world is really full of surprises huh? it must be very valuable and very useful if it is really used for a noble purpose.

there's an important lesson from this, as you said, it could be the accumulation of a small number of donations, which is collected later into a large number. so don't be discouraged how much pub btc we have now, consider it a savings, who knows in a few years it could rise to hundreds of times, so don't give up.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments prohibit developers from creating a new coin? on: August 15, 2021, 11:06:00 PM
Government cannot prohibit developers from creating cryptocurrencies because cryptos in its true nature is decentralized and can operate without any government interference. What the government have the power to ban or prevent is the exchange of crypto profits for fiat currency. Creating cryptocurrencies is basically coding
in fact, the government could easily ban it, by not issuing a business license as an official company. if it is not recognized by the state, it means that the project can be illegal and not recognized. the solution is to work with other parties from abroad who can legally issue business licenses. there's always a way, so don't be too bothered.
moreover crypto is increasingly popular and well received by the community. we just need to educate as best we can from what we can reach so as not to be easily trapped by scammers.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the legal status of Bitcoin in your country? on: August 15, 2021, 09:32:41 PM
Personally, Bitcoin is still and legal to trade, and that is an advantage for us. There may not be any plans as a substitute for fiat currency, but as long as it's legal and we're not banned from trading crypto then I think that's pretty good. Even a few months ago the government in our country made crypto inspired by Bitcoin, because this is a good sign, because then we are where the country is participating in supporting the growth of crypto.
I am also very grateful in my country that crypto trading is still allowed. there are many local exchanges that are officially recognized by one of the financial audit institutions in my country. This is a great opportunity, although the use of crypto for payments is prohibited. it is not a problem, the government still guarantees easy access and security of transactions with paper money.

from here I know that crypto is not completely bad, it is still effective to be used as a trading and investment commodity even with high risk. as long as we know what we are doing and understand the risks then it is not a big problem.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 15, 2021, 09:16:02 PM
...

New scams would exist in different form and thats why we should really be sensible and we should be aware in towards our actions on particular things.

especially in difficult times like this, where people are confused about finding money to survive. when there is an easy and tempting offer, it will immediately be taken advantage of, often to the point of ignoring logic. I really hate fraudsters, scammers, or hackers who take advantage of their knowledge and abilities to take advantage of others in a very sneaky way.

I always remind my friends, don't trust anyone you don't know from the internet who asks for money for any reason. real airdrops or giveaways don't ask you for any funds.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: August 13, 2021, 11:08:53 PM
I think, you should not focus on the negative side of crypto. Investing in bitcoin and other digital currency always have pros and cons that you should understand and accept before start using or investing on it.  Owning or holding bitcoin and other valuable digital currency is your way to make huge profit for a short and long term period. The volatility of bitcoin, even other currency always gives you profit if you really know how to ride on the market movement. Investing in bitcoin is risky, that's true but it was profitable. You should take all the risk if you want to earn profit.
all things in the world have good and bad sides, so we must have a broad perspective to be wiser in determining attitudes. anything can be used as a tool of crime, but when it comes to crypto or bitcoin, the problem will definitely get bigger and wider, because basically bitcoin is full of pros and cons.

basic knowledge related to the world of crypto and investment is needed to be able to profit here. The first and most important thing is that we must understand the risks of high crypto market fluctuations, so we don't arbitrarily spend capital to buy certain coins.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing acceptance level - Cryptocurrency on: August 13, 2021, 10:47:02 PM
Good idea, but for me too often you take a transport car and pay with crypto what is excessive while the fiat money in your pocket is spent on more expensive goods. For me it's not a problem, but how about paying with fiat directly it's easier for you to put it next to the driver and leave.

Indeed, it was easier to pay fiat money directly than to pay with crypto. It's a hassle to pay with crypto when you are riding on a car or bus or any transport because you need to make transactions everytime you pay and you need to have internet connection everytime you ride. Then, everytime you made a transaction there is a high transaction fee which is not good, I think.
So far, the use of crypto, especially BTC for micropayments, is not effective enough, and it is simpler to use fiat or e-money payments. I think it will take quite a while for btc to really be widely accepted and recognized by the government, and its use as a payment alternative will slowly show progress. it takes time too until the existing human resources are ready and adapt to cryptocurrencies, this is a bit complicated for ordinary people, believe me.
I consider btc and crypto in general as trading commodities and investment tools, because for me payments using fiat and e-money are still very effective.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The more popular Bitcoin is, the more valuable it is? on: August 13, 2021, 10:04:07 PM

Snip---

If conditions permit, I would be happy to use Bitcoin for daily payments, but some people have said that they will not sell their own Bitcoins and have been waiting for the price of Bitcoin to rise.
Do you think Bitcoin will be devalued in the future?
This is greatly influenced by the point of view of each person towards bitcoin. some prefer it as an investment tool, so it feels less effective if it is used as a payment method, after all there is fiat or e-money that has the same function. For those who have a different point of view, for example, those of you who like it as a means of payment, perhaps because they are interested in transparency and its function that is not limited by space and time. everything can be done, use wisely according to individual needs. want to be used as a trading commodity is also fine.
it all depends on individual needs. the important thing is to use it well, the popularity of bitcoin is increasing along with its increasing adoption
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth buying other cryptocurrencies other than bitcoin? on: August 12, 2021, 11:12:33 PM
to increase profit opportunities, it is indeed better to divide your assets into several parts in altcoins as well. but it should really be noted that the altcoin you choose has good potential, such as strong fundamental support, and a good ecosystem. The current altcoins are eth and bnb, both of which are showing good progress. moreover eth started implementing his plans towards ethereum 2.0
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: August 12, 2021, 10:54:28 PM
until now I'm just holding with a smile looking at the eth chart. I am neither a trader nor an investor, just a small trader who raises capital from bounty hunting. I collect eth little by little from the bounty rewards, so I don't have much to do while patiently waiting. rather than taking the risk of joining a new project, I prefer coins with great potential and strong fundamentals like ETH.
the market is still in good energy, but things can change so quickly without any predictions, so take the safe route.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 what to expect on: August 12, 2021, 10:38:26 PM
Ethereum's transaction fee will be reduced, this is what I expect from the new development of Ethereum.  Today I have deposited in an ERC20 token in market and it has a transaction fee of $8. I sold the token for $16. This is pathetic.
This is my question since the hardfork, not even the price pump. When will the price of transaction reduce? I expect something in the value of binance chain and Tron for transaction.
from several articles that I read, apart from the hard fork that reduced the eth supply by 1.4% annually, ethereum also submitted several proposals. Among them are the EIP-1559 proposal which is used to provide arrangements for setting gas fees, and the token burn mechanism. Apart from that, there are many other proposals that serve to make the basic gas fee price, hopefully the gas fee can be more controlled.
