1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Assess your gambling addiction level. on: February 23, 2020, 11:59:02 PM
Sometimes it will come to my mind and drives me to play but however I dont have  budget for it. I am still focusing on my investments rather than gambling because I believe that with tjis investments, even not in crypto, it will give me a return as time goes by. It is part of my self discipline to be more cautious to the usage of money.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have anyone tried to stop gamblers from losing while they keep on wagering. on: February 23, 2020, 11:54:26 PM
I've been into gambling for a long, my major focus was on sports betting. From sports betting earned good, but I wasn't able to make the success continue. I lost out of greed, further my focus turned towards casinos where we get the instant results and doesn't want to wait as we wait on sports betting till a match gets over. By this time I was entirely new to it, and lost big. If someone have contacted me I could've stopped it for a while and lowered my loses.

Recently while playing dice, I saw a person who was wagering with large funds to recover the loss. By the time he has lost part of what I have lost. I texted him my experience, and suggested to stop it before things go out of his hands. He didn't responded, finally he lost everything. Have any of you got such experience.

As of now I dont have experience with that because I prefer playing on online casino than traditional casinos out there. One thing I really want about online is the anonymity we can get from it unlike playing in real casino where you can expect someone to run towards you if you win a lot of money. On the other hand, online casinos give as freedom to play in our own convenience and this was a plus for me.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: February 23, 2020, 11:47:55 PM
I watched a Youtube video last night about the food merchants in some of the markets in Wuhan <China> and I noticed that most of them are using electronic payment methods to pay for goods. < Wechat Pay >

Ok, it is not Bitcoin, but if more merchants using Fiat currency can switch over to Bitcoin, you might see less infections. The reason for this is simple, because the Corona virus can be transmitted from person to person via cash being used on a daily basis.

People can also do online payments with Bitcoin to avoid handling physical cash and thus avoiding infection. It can also prevent people from being infected from a host of other viruses and bacteria that can survive for days on physical coins and notes.

This is just one more reason for people to move away from physical payment methods and shifting to a cash-less financial system in the future.  Wink

This has a point, maybe fiat currency was very prone to viruses and infections that is why online payment was booming. Aside from fast transactions we can encorporate our crypto to it making us more free to pay in digital currency or in crypto currency. it is happening today big companies are starting to accept crypto as a form of payment and thia waa a good sign for crypto ecosystem.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: list top 10 exchange in the market on: February 23, 2020, 11:42:22 PM
What is the top 10 exchanges which all the investors trust it?

I can say that Binance is the king for me but still all of those exchange have their own flaws. It really depends on your experience, what exchange provides you better service than others. As I remember binance has an issue before even if it was sonehow leading. They are being hacked by someone on the year 2016 i guess and a lot of money are lost. However, its founder was professional enough to handle the situation and was transparent on what happen so I believe that Binance was the number one for me.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: February 23, 2020, 11:37:33 PM
Are you gambling everyday?
twice a week?
once in a never again?

if you gamble everyday, can you stop whenever you want or are you fully addicted?

would love to hear more on your habits here on the forum.

Honestly, I am not into gambling because I dont have enough money to start it. Maybe if I will be given a chance I will try gambling but I will be more aware about the things that might happen if I am not responsible enough. If I will gamble, I will play just for fun but still I will be very happy if I win. First of all I think it is created in a way that it will let you to be stress free so I will do it just for fun.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Increase Bitcoin adoption on: February 23, 2020, 11:31:32 PM
I guess this was a good start for an adoption but not enough to generate mass adoption. Maybe if this will be implemented and a lot of businesses implemented this also, we can expect that in some time the bitcoin ecosystem will boom again. It is possible to happen and also possible that it will not, it really depends to the people and to those bussiness if they are bullish with bitcoin. As we heard in the news Visa started to accept btc and this was good for crypto space.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment Advice for year 2020 on: February 23, 2020, 10:49:39 PM
On the off chance that you intend to put money/Funds into Alts, kindly do your own examination and know that deceitful advertising sensationalizes pretty much every altcoin projects. Altcoins, and the organizations behind the projects are additionally helpless against guideline, Bitcoin isn't.

Bitcoin is the far superior investment for 2020. Not exclusively is it seen as a place of refuge resource, but at the same time it's the first digital money and consistently leads blockchain advancement through it's BIP procedure

If you must hold altcoin because they always bring better profits do not go too deep and make sure your altcoins are top altcoins

I agree on this. We must not invest on coins that doesn't give real value and cannot generate supporters because it is very dependent to the support it will get to the market. If there are no users to support a certain coin or alts then it will be too risky to invest on it. First of all investing on crypto was risky because it was new how much more on those alts that are new in this space so it is much better to invest on those coin that are there long time ago like bitcoin.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: February 23, 2020, 10:43:51 PM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?
Because you are going after the big score?

Why?

I think most people here gambles to have fun and to earn money as well. It was absolutely great if we win a certain game but the problem is that we keep on playing hoping that we can earn larger amout but in fact some people lose again their money because of this behavior. I guess if I win on some games, I will invest it on something that is valuable and I think it is not on crypto because it ia very risky as of now.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: February 23, 2020, 10:39:27 PM
This question is always on my mind since then until now. I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this platform. I know that we have all different perception about gambling, so I respect what will be your point of view about that.

But to share my opinion, I consider gambling as a threat to gamblers. Yes, there are a lot of people who find happiness in gambling if and only if they can control their selves from this, but no matter how fun can gambling gives to you, the problem is still there, the addiction on it is always there, it grows day by day. There are so many disadvantages of being so addicted in gambling, one of which is forgetting your priority, spending your time to your family and your friend, you won't be able to more productive things than losing money, to the point that even you already lose and don't have enough money to play, you will make ways, there are times that you will ask a request to your friend to give you money as debt. You should be the one who controls the gamble and don't let the gamble control you.

If the person or player knows how to discipline herself she can reasonably play gamble because even if she have money but still she cannot control herself at the end she will be addicted. First of all we play gamble just for fun and to become stress free so make sure to limit yourself if something happens like you lose your money because of it. Prepare a certain amount that you can afford to lose and dont ever use debt just to play again.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: February 23, 2020, 10:34:00 PM
Bitcoin was not made to spend. Not for now. There is a misinterpretation of what Satoshi wrote in the Whitepaper: "A peer-to-peer eletronic cash system". He created bitcoin to be an electronic money system. This is a fact.

Before becoming a monetary system, Bitcoin must be able to preserve value over time. After that, he becomes able to earn society's trust and become a genuine cash.

People accept dollars because they believe that money is still backed by gold (as it was until the end of Bretton Woods), or because (unfortunately) they believe the government will guarantee the value of the currency.

That is, people believe in Dollar because they are sure that money will be at the same value tomorrow. Although this is not true.

99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

Bitcoin has never been about just being a simple means of payment. It is not like VISA or Mastercard. He is a legitimate Digital Asset and as such needs to earn trust until it is adopted as money.

Do not spend your Bitcoins. Not now.

On the other hand we cannot give people a false hope that someday if they invest in bitcoin it will surely give you a return. We are not sure about the future of crypto so it os very risky to invest on it however, yes it is possible to invest on it if you have other investment out there but if none dont ever do it. I prefer to start  first in traditional investing like in real estate or stockmarket if you are new to investing.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A game that educates people about Bitcoin on: February 23, 2020, 10:29:30 PM
This was a great way to generate mass adoption but we camnot say how many people will use this app. Maybe if this was successfully made it can generate adoption but I think it is not enough to make the bitcoin ecosystem become bullish. What we need is mass adoption which we can get if we get total support of people worldwide to apply to their everyday life.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online gambling or Casino gambling? on: February 23, 2020, 10:24:47 PM
Sometimes if I need some interaction with real people I prefer to play to traditonal casinos because this is something that cannot provide by those online casinos. Maybe some of it integrates chat system, meeting the other players gives extra feeling and thrill.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: February 21, 2020, 06:55:52 AM
If that was the case I will probably prefer online casinos because of a simple thing, it gives me a calm mind. However, as a gambler sometimes we find that exact feeling when you really playing with another person with interaction. Maybe this is something that online casinos cannot give although it is possible to support chats. Real presence of person gives extra feeling for me.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin boom or burst ? how to analyzed? on: February 21, 2020, 06:51:43 AM
at that time  still unsure whether bitcoin will boom or bust, how to analyzed the market from a different perspective ??

Bitcoin market was purely speculative, it was new it requires time to familiarize it. Instead of analyzing the market analyze the real situation outside it. Are we heading to a recession or not? Was the Gold delivers more value than crypto or not. From these scenarios wr can predict what will happen to the bitcoin market. If a lot og people buy btcs then the price will probably go up and vice versa.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: February 20, 2020, 11:56:22 AM
For people who does not have enough income to live a comfortable life, we try to find ways to end the struggle, we take big risk to gain big rewards so if we will be successful, we don't need to work anymore and just enjoy the rest of our life doing the things that we can't do due to lack of money.

are you one of the people who dream like this?

I believe that in the back of our mind we are all hoping that someday we dont need to work anymore but still we have a stream of income that are providing our needs. We can actually acquire it thru gambling but nothing is for sure because it really depends on how lucky you are. Best thing to do is to try investments.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do some gamblers actually win? on: February 20, 2020, 02:02:00 AM
We all read threads where people say that it is impossible to win against the house because the edge that is always against a gambler.

But often when I am playing dice and I see chat and view stats of some gamblers there are actually some profiles that show profits while some show loss so my question is, do people actually make profits from dice or the stats are misleading or something?

And I am talking about regular gamblers who I mean are active in chat almost daily so it's not like they made profit once and stopped gambling, they are active and gamble almost every day so how some guys are managing profits while others are failing?

Self-moderation policy:
When you talk on-topic, we are all fine to go. May lock after considerable discussion. Thanks for understanding.

Logically thinking there are gamblers that are winning that is why they keep on participating on this sites. On the other side, the house too are winning also that is why they are still operating. Whatever happens it is more likely that the house will still be winning and we can assure that the owner of a gambling site is earning profit massively.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: February 16, 2020, 04:14:53 PM
I found this interesting article about the current gaming industry on the blockchain, what do you think about the gaming industry currently on the blockchain and do you think it will evolve and have a future? Or is blockchain not really for gaming? If you want to read the article, you can read it on the link below.

https://www.publish0x.com/interesting-crypto-projects/games-blockchain-2019-xdqjjz?a=GELe3POa69

On top of that, the blogging platform is a great way to earn crypto for free. You can earn crypto for voting on articles and also for creating content. You can earn DAI and BAT currently but it is a better way than to just do bounties where you have no idea when the token will become live on an exchange. You can sign up through the article. Hope to see you there!

I believe that it has something to say with the gaming industry since it even influences Sea Games. If we successfully implemented this to the game industry, we can expect mass adoption from it. I think this was a good step to start the adoption because a lot of people are intetested from it especially if they can earn coins that can convert into cash.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your recommended ways of gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 04:00:34 PM
Three things:

1. If you are losing in gambling, around 90% or even more of gamblers are like you.
2. If you gamble because you are looking for money, quit, you will not find it there.
3. If you want to gamble with a higher probability of winning and not just guessing out of random possibilities, try sports betting. Choose matches and games which you are very familiar with.

Good luck!

The main thing here is that it was a system created to earn money, if you are looking for a sure money it will not happen here. It is just for fun and we should not take this very seriously unless you are the one who owns the gambling site because it generates a big money for sure. When we gamble expect that the owner earns money no matter what so keep this in mind.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why most of ALTCOINS are dead or worthless? on: February 16, 2020, 03:45:08 PM
In beginning of 2018 there were a lot of alcoins was launched in market, Most of them was just to scam people with typically referral method by social influencers.

This was also a flaw of Ethereum blockchain where any single person can create his own coin with his desired supply and name by costing very low fee.

As with the help of Ethereum blockchain where it was super easy to generate any coin it was easy to launch any ico with high promising goals and convince people to make their money multiple x.

Those scam or ordinary platform make alt market dirty game. And this impact very badly on the genion project where many traders lost their interest.

The main reason why there are a lot of worthless altcoins in the market is that they have no clear difference or new feature with those existing alts. They are probably created to scam people or look for an investor that they will fool with their crazy project assumptions but in fact it has no concrete foundation.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Break away from gambling. on: February 16, 2020, 03:25:05 PM
Over and over again, there were lots of reasons for you to stop but the main thing i would say which really be needed for us to stop completely is just really a matter of self control and discipling.
Actions awareness is also a thing where you do realize first on what things would happen if you do intend to engage with gambling without control.IF you do have this kind of mindset it wont really be
easy for you to get addicted on the first place.Breaking away is just the hardest part when you already get hooked into it and quitting wont really be that easy where distracting yourself into other things
so that you wont able to gamble again.Dont wait for unfortunate things to happen before you do quit it would be better if you do able to stop it midway.
I agree on this. First of all before going into gambling, we should be equipped with self discipline and must be responsible in our decisions because it can affect our lifestyle and worse our behaviour. Yes we are hoping to earn profit from it but still we are playing for fun or as stress reliever not to cause stress.
