So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

Seems like you will be wasting your time reading replies with this thread. It is better to asked those experienced users rather than waiting for some replies or maybe you should read articles or thread about investment so that you can knew it by yourself. A lot of questions like yours doesn't get exact or useful answers by making topic like this. Explore this forum and look for the right place to asked this kind of questions.
242  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin change the distribution of wealth in the world? on: March 03, 2018, 09:10:35 AM
Does anyone have information whether bitcoin would distribute wealth more equally across people than the current wealth distribution?

Or would the distribution be even more unfair?

Wealth was a general topic, we have different ways of identifying which is more wealthy but if you are referring to money it will never happen unless making of new money will be continuous. Aside from that we should consider other factors that will affect bitcoin in the distribution of wealth such as the knowledge and the willingness of individuals about it.
This seems very impossible especially there are big business owners that gains great profits compared to just normal people.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A friend sent me .03 BTC - what to do now? on: March 03, 2018, 08:29:17 AM
So long story short, a friend owed me for a favor and since I did not have bitcoin before he asked If I would take it in BTC. I didn't mind since I can cash out whenever.
My question is.. what do you think? Its a decent chunk of money for me to just hope something keeps rising, do you think I should "let it ride" or cash out and just be happy with ~$500?

It is better to hodl it especially when you don't really need it. It is possible to increase its value as we know so don't waste this chance in non sense things. As we engage here in cryptos, we should be more wise and knowledgeable in every transactions we are into. We should try to understand how does a certain coin runs and know the right time to sell or buy these stuffs to avoid big losses.
244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: February 24, 2018, 03:59:49 PM
Every student of the political economy who understands the style of the work of the technique of Blockchain and Bitcoin BTC will be absolutely sure that the next alternative to the classical system is the digital currencies, which by their characteristics (speed - privacy - lack of costs - decentralization of the system ...) The foundations of political economy in all its schools, from Aristotle and Ibn Khaldun to Marx, Adam Smith and Keynes and finally with Friedman. These scholars, who laid the foundations of economic thought through money supply, can control the economy of countries and their economic policy.
In my opinion, Noble In the economy of this great invention that will change humanity and will throw our lives upside down in so-called Internet value ..........

Commonly it is because of its stability issues. Unlike those traditional money cryptos are volatile making it risky. But if you are wise in handling cryptos, you will probably succeed.
245  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: February 24, 2018, 03:58:41 PM
Yeah, what's the easiest way to make the most BTC? I remember a pal how he made some currency to 1 BTC in an evening, something with Amazon. But I guess such things are gone.

Daytrading right now but I am not that good at it. Bots? Do I have to make my own?

There is no such way as earning Bitcoin easily, you must invest time and effort to have some. Don't always refer to easy money, it is not fulfilling at the first place.
246  Economy / Speculation / Re: can bitcoin reach 25k$ on: February 24, 2018, 03:56:29 PM
i want some advise from the expert because im only basis on my prediction can anyone tell !

It is surely possible if the price pump will continues. Maybe it will be bigger indeed. There is no accurate answer with it but the thing is it is now recovering to its stable price before.
247  Economy / Economics / Re: When is the right time to buy bitcoin ? on: February 24, 2018, 03:54:15 PM
After the recent news re. BTC China and regulators crackdown on cryptocurrency trading, we all know which direction bitcoin and alt coins are currently heading. I wish to buy Bitcoin and Altcoin when they hit the floor, but i am unsure of when the right time is to enter?

One thing you should remember is the phrase " sell high, buy low" scheme, it was the most basic and most efficient way on trading
248  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: February 24, 2018, 03:48:28 PM
Title.

So. Electric cars are gaining in popularity, therefore the popularity of gasoline will be going down. Won't the price go down, leaving the oil industry in trouble?

If it is ordered by the government and be mandatory to use electric cars, oil companies will probably closed.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: how can the beggars access Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2018, 03:47:11 PM
If all paper money were change into Bitcoins, can it be access and use by everyone? how can the beggars access Bitcoin?

This seems too easy to answer because logically, anyone can't access Bitcoin or cryptos without the help of a device (smart phones) or internet.
Internet is a serious problem today since we treat it as a need today for a lot of things can be made through it. In the case of the beggars, I don't think they can access Bitcoin for they will primarily choose to have their did rather than buying smart phones or having an internet.
250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: February 15, 2018, 03:30:26 PM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me
Logically speaking, some government accept Bitcoin because they are more open to the possibilities that cryptocurrency can bring. On the other hand, some governments rejected it for some reason. Maybe they find bitcoin or cryptocurrency as threat to their locale currency or to their countrymen given the fact that it is risky in some ways. Whatever happens, if we try to learn and explore these possibilities, we can use it in an effective and efficient manner.
251  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: February 15, 2018, 03:00:12 PM
It is said that bitcoin will destroy the fiat system but i believe that if this happens the world will change completly because banks and a lot of things will go out of market.

I think this has a great possibility. As of now it is making noise in media and it is being known by a lot of people. Some agree on it but some hate this new trend. However, we cannot blame and dictate their perception about cryptocurrency.
As time goes by, we are being more expose to technology and become aware of the newest trend about it. Therefore, this will be a great opportunity to cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoins, to be known and to be used by a lot of people, companies and businesses.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if BTC was Banned? on: February 15, 2018, 02:44:22 PM
What do you guys think it would happen if all the governments in the world declared bitcoin to be illegal?
How do you think the community would react? What could be the possible solutions?

First of all, I don't think it will happen but if it will, lots of people will be frustrated especially those who engage in crypto currency.
Major reaction will be the worldwide strike and rebellion. Many people will not agree to the current decision a lot of business, especially those who are related to blockchain will experienced shortages and will probably close after all. However, these things will be all useless since it was ordered by the government or worse by the world highest leaders and organizations.
Logically, we have nothing to do but top accept this changes or else will be punished because of possible violations.
253  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: February 13, 2018, 03:19:48 PM
Would banks and governments actively work and implement countermeasures to undermine this process? Are the underestimating the potential of cryptocurrencies by investing in some of them?
Do you think there is a possibility of cryptocurrencies being banned in the future for the reason of being a threat to "normal" currencies?

In terms of security issue traditional currency will be ahead from cryptocurrencies. It was so cliché that Bitcoin is not regulated by the government, for these reason they have no responsibility about returning the possible losses of your money in the web.
While when we talk about transaction issues, virtual currency will beat traditional money for it can process a lot of transactions in every single second for it runs through the internet. The downside part in Cryptos is that we have no papers, especially in investing that serves as the proof to regain possible losses unlike in banks.
In conclusion, cryptocurrency and traditional money have a close match in different aspects.
254  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why you should Buy bitcoin now on: February 13, 2018, 02:55:10 PM
So much so that 15% of banks world wide expect to widely implement blockchain, which is a ledger of transactions updated in real time by various institutions, by next year, according to the report which surveyed 200 global banks.

These banks, mostly medium to large-sized institutions, are focusing their blockchain technology on three areas: consumer lending, retail payments, and reference data, which refers to the real-time information sharing of transactions across business divisions and institutions.

In four years, IBM says that 66% percent of banks expect to have blockchain in commercial production and at scale.

Well, generally, buying Bitcoin today is advisable, it comes with low price and making noise to the business world given the fact that companies that are accepting bitcoin is increasing.
Looking to this coping strategy of many companies, it is breaking the traditional means of payment which can probably bring them to the top compared to those who don't cope with these changes. Cryptocurrency is making a big role in economy or even in our life today, we just need to explore all the opportunities it will bring.
255  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefits of using bitcoin in global online marketing? on: February 13, 2018, 08:37:20 AM
According to different statistical observation we have found strong benefits in global online marketing
now I would like to mention few strong benefits in below:
1.As a global currency every one can use this currency within a short  time from every corner of the world.
2.Transection system is so much faster than others local or national transaction system because its online based
3.All holders can transfer all kind of payment after accomplishing their work.
4.Anyone can build a strong business rely on virtual currency cause currency transferring process and security system are stringer than others currency

I would say that statements 1 to 3 are correct but your last statement is not. Constructing a business in real world is hard enough what more in virtual world where you can't control every single changes in the web. Also, as your subject, Bitcoin is not so secure like what you have said. Starting from it is not regulated by the government towards it's security issues and possible scams in the web. It is very clear that our money is not 100 percent safe.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you donate Bitcoin for the poor and needy? on: February 13, 2018, 08:13:53 AM
The point is to keep a bitcoin separately for donation to the poor. Donating a bitcoin directly will make sense if the receiver is aware of the functioning of bitcoin and Cryptocurrency. A poor and / or needy man can be sometimes an educated man or a knowledgeable man who is struggling to meet his ends. Bitcoin can otherwise be encashed and given to the poor.

It is always better to think big. I would rather create a trust or try to invest in healthcare or education of a poor child. All quick helps will not last long. Educating one child by spending a $25000 or more will reap great benefits to the society in comparison with feeding a whole lot of people once with the same money. Though it is not bad to feed but it is better to invest in a system that more than once continually feeds.

Yes I will donate Bitcoin to the poor and needy the way I feel is best useful for them. One percentage of the income can always be set aside for donation. After all, life is short and it is best to help as much as we can.

I agree that there will be organizations who will accept Bitcoin as donations especially it is the trend today, seems like everyone will be more open to crypto currency despite the fact that it is risky in some ways.

Maybe, like the major concern here, we need to be sure that these organizations is far from possible scams and has a great knowledge in using these cryptos. We should have the assurance that all of our donations, if ever, will be in good hands and can truly help these unfortunate people.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy now or wait for even lower price? on: February 08, 2018, 08:17:28 AM
I'm trying to figure out a right time to buy some more bitcoin. I'm having trouble deciding.

Would you buy right now (price over 7K USD) or wait to see if you can get it much cheaper?

I think you don't loose anything if you buy it from now or wait for it to drop much lesser, the important thing is to buy Bitcoins when it dumps. Yes it is much better to buy it in a cheaper price than 7 thousand US dollars but I think buying it today with that price can be justifiable also for it dumps less than half of it. No matter what price you will buy it you can be sure that you will gain big profit from buying it.
258  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Will Change Everything on: February 08, 2018, 08:08:32 AM
We are entering in the new type of economy where price predictions are not possible any more because productivity and prosperity of humanity will rise to the new golden age level. Bitcoin will go to 1 million dollars in 2018 and is being used by central banks as a global stardard ledger - dollar will fade slowly those who buy now will become the new wealthy elite.

But all of these seems like only your predictions.  First of all we have no assurance that Bitcoin will continuously boom until future. Who knows if there is another cryptos that will be ahead from Bitcoin soon? There is only one thing we can sure of, Cryptocurrrency has a big break in the future!
259  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 08, 2018, 07:14:53 AM
Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.

based on what I remember there  was theory that also talks about the relativity  of all the things around you. Like what you said positive thinking brings positive things. The more you think in positive way the more you can attract positive things. In our case today, aside from panicking because of the price dump, we should look to its positive side and get the benefits from it.
260  Other / Meta / Earning MERIT on: February 07, 2018, 04:33:54 PM
Certain changes happened in ranking, this new MERIT system.

I am just confused on how can we get MERIT and who can give us that merit? Is there any responsible individual in giving merit??

I heard about giving your MERIT to others, is there any effect to the one who gives?

How much is the needed MERIT to ranked up?? Does our Activity matters still??

I hope you can share your knowledge about this changes. Thanks!
