You know your shitcoin is dead when the only people posting on your bitcointalk thread are pool shills.
RIP RVN. The idea was fine. It's just too bad decentralization didn't work out.
The tech/development behind this was great. There just wasn't any real purpose for it. Cool coin, just needed to be put to work somehow. Sounds like it's about time for another discord vote on algo changes. If only there was a way to get consensus on a distributed peer to peer ledger. Beats me. Centralized coins are only going to get more centralized over the long-term. Especially if you ban people for asking basic questions that anyone in the community should be able to answer. Guess I don't get a vote. Probably for the best. It's so easy to opt out of a shitcoin. You just sell. Looks like everyone agrees it's time to sell based on the low price. It was this low when I got into RVN lol. Thank goodness I sold most at the top.

Why not announce it well in advance and then fork off the Ravencoin chain? Currently, you have a post-fork announcement (while there was also no announcement well in advance on any other medium) creating an unfair advantage for people who planned on supporting this chain compared to everyone else that was unaware of this support.
Funny you should ask! I was in a very similar position with Ravencoin when I posted that projects original ANN on January 14th, two weeks after launch. I took this upon myself, as i did then, to simply inform the btctalk community that a project was able to be mined. In short, I waited for someone else to do it for two weeks. I believe someone else attempted one, and i'm currently researching the history there. Thanks for your question!

Is this a real deal? I also got this message on the Discord, are we going to see another project based on a fork of Ravencoin? why nobody is talking about this here, I am confused. It is a change of mining algo or also the project name? Nice photoshop job. The choice is clear. Join the corporate backed RavencoinTV, and stay true to Ravencoins corporate vision or stay with the ASIC secured network. I personally have always felt more comfortable knowing Medici Ventures is in the shadows. All the decisions at the company office, that's why the real Raven community chooses Ravencoin Trons Vision!Once again: This ANN will be moving over here and closed October 1st-> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5180730.0Who are you? ... #crysx The team has had some shakeups since the departing of our dear Patrick Byrne. Medici Ventures has decided to go full force, with full control. That means a bigger budget and bigger team! No more need for community anything, we’ve got you covered! It looks like a big raven shits on the heads of community... Multi-POW model would have prevented this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eWCT8WFeDg

Get distracted? Not distracted, just working on multiple different things. The project is going as expected. I have put another dev to the base level of the project. There are a couple things we're planning to announce for POLY soon. Apologies for the amount of time between posts, a lot has been going on lately in my life. But I think everyone will be happy to see what we get done next. My suggestion would be to start slowly accumulating the coin, as I have been doing, in preparation for the future I hear ya. Good luck.

This year will be a wild ride for Ravencoin. With big things coming to T0 exchange in March and dividend and messaging features added to RVN code this year, Ravencoin has a bright future ahead!
Burstcoin can do all this already and has been around way longer, but it's not going to the moon. Jason Crowe destroyed all hope of that. I used to be a big fan of Burst. I'm still mining Burst and I trade them on the exchanges. They went to PoC2 and there's new wallets. You can CPU mine still and use your GPU for other mining at the same time. I use the few coins to help with electric cost on my RVN GPU mining. Burst has all these same features, messaging, asset exchange, dividend payouts, low fee's. Exactly what RVN dev's are trying to achieve. Jason Crowe and Mr. Burst thing is in the past, but your right that did hurt the coins rep. I agree with this guy. I am also mining Burst since Feb/2018 and as far as I see it, Burst works just fine. Had no problems whatsoever since then. Whatever that Jason Crowe guy did in the past, will stay in the past. However... Whether if its on Raven or Burst, I actually don't care much about assets. Tbh, I don't understand how they work and how's that useful at all. I did some research about that Jason guy on google and I found out that he was also fucking with "assets" and that's how he fucked burst up which leads me to my final conclusion about the subject: Assets suck. I don't know how RVN is going to handle this. I hope it does because I am also investing in it from time to time. Maybe if you did 10 minutes of research on the shitcoins you invest in you'd have a better underatanding on what their use case is. If you don't understand why real assets on a blockchain are useful, you haven't done enough (or any) research. ETH creating tokens out of thin air that mean nothing, those have value, but stocks represented on a blockchain? Worthless. /s Yeah don't you get how cutting fees & middlemen out of traditional finance ventures is going to revolutionize the way people in sandals and polo shirts do business?

You can be sarcastic all you want. Unbuckle your seatbelt because the launch has be terminated. I big part of the potential is reward system for small businesses. A client could use Raven wallet intergraded on website or app on mobile device. Most people do not even now what blockchain is. Now, a business owner must find a way to stop unwanted assets popping up on their client's wallet. This means more money and development cost. I have already unwanted sh... in my wallet.
This gave me a chuckle.
