101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prepared for the big and long dump this year. on: February 04, 2021, 02:46:13 PM
What do you think are the lowest amount the following coins will hit this year.

Let's talk about the top 3 Major altcoins.

1- Ethereum
2 -XRP
3- DOT

Also, you can include your prediction on bitcoin's lowest amount this year if you think that altcoins movement are significantly related to bitcoin.

well lets make Scenarios in which what we think will happen to These Major Altcoins.

1- Ethereum -  Will try hard to Reach $2k but i don't think this has the capacity to reach at least 1,800 before falling back again to Below 1k$

2 -XRP - Still In floating status , if they made it through with the case ? then the chance of growing is there  but if not ? then total fall will come because for sure the US government will Sequester and Hold all the existing currency for Keeping.

3- DOT - Sorry But i really don't believe in this Platform , I'm still believe that this will fade soon and will surely dump hard within this year.
DOT is a kind of phenomenon that cryptocurrency users themselves have elevated and due to this, it keeps in the ranking. Regarding Ripple, I hope that XRP investors and hobbyists will become more considerate and not be tempted to be tricked by the Ripple team again. But regarding ethereum, I have quite Great Expectations. To date, we have already seen a price above $ 1,620, but at the moment it is only the beginning of 2021 and everything is still ahead. I believe that DeFi projects and Institutional Capital will play a good role in 2021 for Ethereum thanks to Ethereum futures.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Elon Musk's Tweets... on: February 04, 2021, 02:32:50 PM
"No highs, no lows, only Doge"

"Dogecoin is the people’s crypto"

This guy is only playing with you and the markets. It's all fun for him, he's just trolling.
Surely he was very happy because what he said about the Doge had such a big impact, and made him easily profitable. he just needs to buy as much as he wants and then tweet and sell.
Maybe in the near future he will write Doge in his Twitter profile
And I hope that in the near future, cryptocurrency users will stop doing stupid things and will not pay attention to trolling or saying "By mood", as happened with Elon Musk's tweets. At its core, it only stirred up cryptocurrency users, which manifested itself in a surge in the cryptocurrency rate, followed by a rapid decline.
103  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will replace oil and Gold on: February 01, 2021, 03:07:04 PM
The rise of cryptocurrencies in mainstream finance has come at the cost of gold. Since October last year, funds have flooded into Bitcoin funds, and in the long run, as more institutional investors hold cryptocurrencies, this trend will only continue. As digital currency becomes more and more popular as an asset class, if investors transfer a small part of their allocation from gold to cryptocurrency, this trend will give the gold market a long lead in the next few years. To trouble. The adoption of Bitcoin by institutional investors has just begun, and for gold, the adoption of Bitcoin by institutional investors has been very long.

I don't think that the gold prices were impacted by the Bitcoin bull run. The reason why gold prices went down is because of people selling their gold holdings, in order to survive the lockdowns and unemployment which resulted from the COVID 19 pandemic. So there is no relation with the Bitcoin rally. On top of that, the stock markets are at record highs, which discourages mainstream investors from accumulating gold bars and coins.
I completely agree with your opinion that there is no connection between the fall in the price of gold and Bitcoin, but at the same time I doubt that the supply for gold in the market has increased so much, due to the sale of personal savings, that its volume provoked a depreciation. It is possible that there are other factors affecting the gold market that we are not aware of.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Food prices doubled this year on: February 01, 2021, 02:27:53 PM
In my country (Ukraine) prices for vegetables and basic foodstuffs have increased. At the same time, meat (beef, pork, lamb, chicken, turkey, ...) and fish (salmon, trout, salmon, and local fish) almost did not change in price.

The national currency in Ukraine gets devaluated very frequently and that is one of the reasons why the food prices are going up there. Back in 2014, the exchange rate was 1 USD = 8 UAH. As a result of devaluation of the Hryvnia, this exchange rate now stands at 1 USD = 28 UAH. So naturally food items which used to be priced at 8 UAH in 2014 would be costing at least 28 UAH now. The same can be said about the other weak national currencies as well, such as the Russian Ruble and the Pakistani Rupee.
One way or another, it is worth noting that last year, for example, $ 10 could buy more products than this year. if any national currency is compared with the dollar, then even in dollar terms, prices have risen. Of course, over the past year, problems have increased due to internal quarantine and international isolation of all countries.
105  Economy / Economics / Re: New oil shares skyrocket prices big time. on: February 01, 2021, 02:01:52 PM
If we adhere to the opinion that the CIA controls oil prices, then I am sure that it is unprofitable for America, as well as for its special services, to raise high world oil prices, since the high oil price strengthens the position of opponents, which the United States has quite a few in Asia. and also Russia.
106  Economy / Economics / Re: Is wallet security important to use? on: February 01, 2021, 01:46:16 PM
In any case, a cryptocurrency wallet that a person can use in everyday life should not only be protected, but also very easy to manage. Assuming that cryptocurrency will soon be massively used as a means of payment, the ease of use of a wallet will be one of the most important determining factors.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most discreet way to hide your crypto from thieves? on: January 31, 2021, 07:42:22 AM
Maybe just split your privkey into several parts and store it somewhere you can remember. I mean, imagine if you store several parts of your privkey between many storage media and somewhat hidden it's gonna be a hell for the thieves trying to find it and it can't be exposed easily.
Also, by splitting like this you can create multiple copy incase you forgot where you put one part of your privkey. Encryption also could boost the safety of your crypto.
In fact, initially you need not to pretend that you own some kind of cryptocurrency assets, so that a real thief does not look for secret keys to your assets. The main thing is to ensure that there is no leakage of classified information into the network. In addition, the main thing is not to attract any attention of hackers, so that they do not begin to be interested in your data.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin with over 200% increased, what happen? on: January 29, 2021, 01:03:34 PM
We are all looking forward to the altcoin season and it will definitely take place this year, post ATH Bitcoin and Ethereum, but what happened to Doge indicates not a healthy phenomenon. But jumping too fast to 225% will soon turn into such a precipitous fall as many Doge holders take the chance to profit.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How much will ETH be worth ten years from now? on: January 29, 2021, 12:43:59 PM
At least 10x times more than current value in the next 10 years for sure but it may end up in zero as well which I never thought about but still has chances.

ETH is getting out of real utility, because the transactions are turning out to be slower and more expensive than bitcoin transactions so people may abandon it if there is a times comes for it.
I believe that it is necessary to take into account the fact that the process of a full update of ETH 2.0 has not yet been completed, because the first phase took place before the new year, and we will observe the best results in terms of bandwidth and, accordingly, the cost of transactions a little later. In addition, there is a lot of activity in the DeFi industry today, which aggravates the speed inside the network.
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Florida bank says it has closed Trump's accounts on: January 29, 2021, 12:07:22 PM
All sorts of progressive liberals and libertarians can say as much as they want that this is private discrimination and it's ok. But if you have your own head on your shoulders and you distinguish at least yellow from red, then you should understand that this will not last long. In the situation with Trump, the whole world has seen how far corporations have come and how much they have covered us with their hands - and this can cause a tsunami of restrictions for everyone  from the state. And even though Biden and his team support all this , you will soon see how in the beautiful Socialist America of the Future, corporations will be forced to impose more and more restrictions, justifying this with the protection of free speech and so on. But we still understand what this will lead to in the end.

It is ironic, isn't it? America is moving more and more towards socialism, while China is moving towards capitalism. The Chinese had enough of socialism and they saw how it turned out in countries such as the USSR, Cuba and North Korea. Americans have no taste of Socialists in power (until now) and this will be a bitter lesson for them. They need to suffer first, so that they will never chose this option again.
I completely agree with your opinion, and I believe that people always start to appreciate more what they lose. After all, it is then that awareness and understanding comes. I was personally very surprised at how the whole election process and the relationship of the results of the expression of the will of the people in the United States took place, since for me America was the prototype of a democratic society.
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown due to covid19 is painful on: January 28, 2021, 08:53:18 PM
In fact, it would be really good if even one vaccine that exists today turned out to be really effective. in my country, there is still a lot of debate about which vaccine is better to choose, from Europe or from Russia, and the government starts to cheat and concludes some kind of agreements with India, where development is only in the plans. It is not clear what is happening, but it seems to me that a bad game is going on at the expense of people's lives.

114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins will reach all time high on 2021 on: December 13, 2020, 05:11:00 PM
We'll see if the price of Bitcoin can reach the new all time high of $ 25k or $ 30k this year or 2021,
if the price of Bitcoin can reach the new ATH then the altcoins will also have the opportunity to go to ATH in 2021,
Moreover, we haven't seen altcoin season for a long time.
One way or another, altcoins have always reacted positively to the growth of bitcoin, although to some extent, and to some extent to a lesser extent. Nevertheless, according to forecasts for 2021, the entire cryptocurrency market will follow Bitcoin. But I would hope to me the owners of the less demanded moment. but it will still depend on the growth rate. By the end of 2020, Bitcoin is unlikely to surpass $ 20,000, since this is a very difficult mark for it.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ripple (XRP) will rise to moon. on: December 13, 2020, 04:51:02 PM
Judging by the fact that Ripple does not react at all to the trend of the cryptocurrency market, it is very difficult to predict positive prospects in the near future. In my opinion, it is best to get rid of these coins before it's too late. In addition, you should not indulge yourself with illusions about the period when Ripple replaced Ethereum.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Etherium on: December 13, 2020, 04:18:11 PM
The Ethereum exchange rate has not been very encouraging over the past week, although my personal beliefs about the near future are only positive. But today we can see almost 6% growth in Ethereum over the past 24 hours. I believe that before the New Year holidays, we will still observe certain price fluctuations, since the holidays have always been the reason for the decline in prices.
117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are there governments that are utilizing the technology of Blockchain & Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2020, 02:12:22 PM
If you look at the activities of your government, as well as the decisions they make, then unequivocally conclude that they will never have plans to introduce something innovative, especially if these innovations will bring certain difficulties for a certain government activity, with which they cannot handle. Today, due to the pandemic, the economies of all countries are suffering very much and the government has not found any other way to solve the problem, how to increase the money supply of the national currency. If Bitcoin was used, then they could not do this. At the same time, with the help of blockchain, people would have real control over state finances.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does bitcoin solve more problems than it creates? on: December 12, 2020, 01:54:46 PM
Today I transferred Bitcoin from one wallet to another and made sure that for this period the amount of commission is much less than when transferring any coin on the Ethereum network. Based on this, the Bitcoin transaction price looks more attractive, although the transaction speed still wants to be better. If the scalability problem of Bitcoin can be solved by the broader, who will not have dark spots for Bitcoin that would cause problems.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin ever be use as other country currency on: December 12, 2020, 01:31:34 PM
I strongly doubt this will ever happen. Bitcoin is very different from a national currency and it will stay that way. National currencies main role is to regulate their economy, while Bitcoin is a different kind of animal.
One way or another, everything will depend on the government, which, first of all, must decide not only on plans to reform the country's economic and financial system, but also on the desire to carry it out. The fact is that national currencies are depreciating and it is no longer a secret for anyone that fiat currencies have exhausted their capabilities and only harm society, while providing an opportunity for malicious manipulation by the government.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Drop by if you are a PayPal user on: December 11, 2020, 01:49:28 PM
If it's really Paypal who blocked your account. There must be a noticed to your email. You may check your inbox, I am receiving some emails from Paypal reminding me for my account because I haven't used it for so many months. They are verifying my account, etc.

Which trading platforms are you currently using? I don't use paypal ot any credit cards when doing some trading. They are planning to adopt crypto payments, too. I think they have a valid reason to block your account. You can also send emails to them regarding your issue.
Yes, usually they will send you an email beforehand and will tell you to do an identity check again? I'm not really sure about that. Regarding Paypal blocking accounts, I think they are still not perfect in their "precautionary" measures, they impose too difficult rules for crypto users. and also I never thought of using Paypal in terms of trading, there are still many options to choose from, simpler and easier
It's normal to hate what you don't understand sir, PayPal had no idea what crypto is all about at that time and they even said bad things about it, many other well known people around the world says bad things about bitcoin too, I could still remember warren buffett joining the bitcoin haters club then, this has nothing to do with why Paypal is blocking accounts today and moreover is your own account blocked? I'm guessing those that got their account blocked have broken the rules of the platform
On the network, it often spreads information that PayPal has blocked the accounts of its users, which are somehow associated with cryptocurrency, but there is no explanation for this. In any case, any payment system operates constantly in accordance with certain rules that are publicly available. This means that any blocking occurred for some reason, and I do not exclude that the blocking occurred at the request of government agencies. If a criminal case is initiated against a person, then his accounts are blocked, including accounts of the payment system.
