161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 1 summary on: August 06, 2017, 05:01:55 PM
We had to wait for 3 confirmations before august 1st.

I had a transaction yesterday from Gdax to Gemini and I had to wait for 6 confirmations.

Is it only Gemini or all exchanges wait for 6 confirmations?

Hello Exmo,

Withdrawal is unabled for everyone and no one can withdraw or make a deposit. All other exchanges went back to normal mode 3-4 days ago. When will you make that change?
163  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay Visa - Why I Love It on: August 03, 2017, 09:57:27 PM
So if I get this card, how do I deposit money in it?
164  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: EXMO.com Cryptocurrency Exchange [Official Thread] on: August 02, 2017, 02:48:12 AM
Dear Exmo rep,

1- If someone lives in the U.S but would like to trade in rubles on your site, how can he open a rubles account in your website?
2- What's the most common way of making a deposit into your account as fiat?
3- How long does transferring bitcoin takes?

Thanks a lot.

Hello dear user!

If you want to make a deposit in Rubles, you have to exchange your currency. This can be done in the Exchange section on our website. While depositing in Rubles, you can choose from a number of methods available in the Wallet section. Therefore, you cannot deposit via Western Union or MoneyGram because they are absent when selecting a method.

Regarding the most common way of making a deposit into an account as fiat, we cannot provide you such statistics, since it isn't tracked.

The transaction speed of bitcoin depends on the number of confirmations. Bitcoin needs 6 of these, so it takes time. The specific period of time cannot be stated, since it varies due to a que of confirmations in the blockchain.

Best regards, EXMO team

Dear Exmo,

I really really would like to make a deposit to your site and start trading. However, there is really not any convenient option for me to make a deposit.

For USD deposits;
Western Union and Moneygram is not available.
Other deposit options are not convenient. Some are not trustworthy, others are taking big chunk of commissions.
The only option is swift which is also very costly.

Do you have any recommendation for me?

Also, just spoke to your representative on the chat, Dmitry Averin, he claims I can register the site but i can't get my account verified because I live in the United States. However, you told me before that I can register and get verified before. So which one is correct?

If this is true, then swift option won't work either. That means it is impossible to be a member of exmo for the people who live in the U.S.

Thanks a lot.

Hello guys,

I found exmo.com through the forum search. Can anyone tell me your experience with this exchange? Is it trustworthy?

How long does it take to transfer btcs from this exchange to other exchanges?

How do you deposit money into your account? How long does it take for them to receive it? Which method do you use?

More importantly can we trust exmo.com?

Thanks.

Hello dear user!

Thank you for your question. The time of transaction, deposit, withdrawal depend on the currency and the amount of confirmations for this currency. Could you please tell what currency are you interested in?

The detailed information about methods of deposits and withdrawals you can see here: Which methods of deposit or withdrawals are available and what are the fees?

In order to deposit money into your account, you need just to register. Personal verification is not a mandatory condition to register on the exchange, however, this procedure is needed to use a number of payment systems with high security level. For instance, SEPA, Wire Transfer, Western Union and MoneyGram, withdrawal via USD and EUR for Visa/MasterCard, Payza.

Read more deatiled information in our Customer support.

Also we recommend you to join our English thread for conversations: EXMO Official Discussion.

Anyone using any of these services? More importantly anyone having experience with Exmo?

Merhaba arkadaslar,

Son 3-4 gundur piyasa sizce de cok garip degil mi? Resmen Turk exchangeler en uygun fiyatli bitcoin alinabilecek yerler.

Normalde hep piyasanin $50-$100 ustunde olurdu Paribu falan. Simdi bakiyorum yaklasik $130-$140 altinda.

Sebebi nedir sizce? Bu durum daha ne kadar boyle surer?

Fırsatı kaçırma işte😅
Durum "Geçen ay yüksekten alanlar bu sefer korkuyor mu acaba" diye yorumlanabilir bence.

Yuklu miktarda alim yapmak icin dun TRye SWIFT attim. Bugun ulasti fakat aradaki fark tersine dondu gene.
Transfer masraflarini odedigimle kaldim.  Grin

Simdi bunlari geri SWIFT at bir de.. O arada gene tersine donsun piyasa falan.
Madara olduk..

Hocam ozelden yazdim.

Hello guys,

I saw this exchange a couple of days ago but there is not much info online. It seems their btc prices are pretty low with decent size.

Is there anyone using them? I would like to buy 1 BTC and transfer it to my wallet. How long does it take to make a withdrawal? How about their fees?

Thanks a lot.
174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin price so much higher on Bitfinex? on: July 09, 2017, 07:03:52 AM
Can we just make a dollar deposit into a different exchange then transfer it to bitfinex to buy bitcoins and once we buy the bitcoin, we can transfer back to another exchange?

dollar doesn't magically go in that exchange, it needs to go through a bank. and banks have blocked bitfinex accounts by the time this topic was created (I don't have any updates on how this has changed though). so no it is not possible.

some exchanges however have an option called "codes" like btc-e codes which you can buy off the market and peer to peer and use that to fund your account. you need to check bitfinex, if they have this option then you can use that. I have used this method a couple of times to deposit fiat on btc-e by buying btc-e USD code with my local currency.

I know that they can't deposit the amount into bank account in $$$ but how are they with the bitcoin transfers?

also last time I checked they never had any problems with any of the cryptocurrencies. and you could deposit and withdraw all of them including bitcoin.

Pursuer,

Thank you so much for your help and detailed response.

Also, when we transfer the BTC funds to another exchange from livecoin, how long does it usually take?
176  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net > Buy/Sell/Exchange > + LeoCoin news on: July 08, 2017, 06:59:45 PM
Hello,

What would be the cheapest way to send USD to Livecoin from US?
177  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to put money in bittrex on: July 08, 2017, 04:44:30 PM
Hi,

how do i put money into bittrex? I find this page super weird. Can i fund in USD or only btc??

any help aprec.

Greetz

if deposit use USD youre account must verified level 2 (high level)
and then in bittrex only support USDT , not support bank transfer or another payment

So we can only deposit btc right?
178  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to put money in bittrex on: July 08, 2017, 06:58:55 AM
How do you cash out from trading? or is your money forever stuck in coins that are not cashable lol.

You can transfer your coins in and out, just not money.

They still don't have an option to deposit USD. Crazy.
179  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin price so much higher on Bitfinex? on: July 08, 2017, 06:41:46 AM
Its $1320 on bitfinex and $1240 on btc-e and $1238 on Bitstamp.
This is according to bitcoinwisdom.com
You can't withdraw or deposit through a bank transaction. Bitcoin becomes the main way to withdraw your money from bitfinex. The bank has blocked bitfinex bank account. Those people are FOMO bitcoin to release his money from the bitfinex.

Bitfinex has announced that the problem will be solved as soon as possible.
But there is no deadline when the problem will be fixed.

Hello there,

I have been checking the prices lately and it seems that bitfinex has one of the best buying bitcoin prices. To give you an example;

bitfinex - $2444
gemini - $2478
kraken - $2488

Can we just make a dollar deposit into a different exchange then transfer it to bitfinex to buy bitcoins and once we buy the bitcoin, we can transfer back to another exchange?

I know that they can't deposit the amount into bank account in $$$ but how are they with the bitcoin transfers?
180  Economy / Exchanges / Re: The Best Exchange for US Customers on: July 06, 2017, 03:18:05 PM
GDax is owned by coinbase, did you know that?

Gemini i have never used but it seems like that they are charging 0.25% per trade. If you're going for convenience then i suggest you stick with coinbase because they are by far the best exchange on the basis of convenience only.

If you're an active trader executing thousands of trades per week then probably look into btc-e, even though they aren't regulated and quite shady they are fast, the spreads are low, and the fees schedule is low as well.

But it does seem like that you're promoting Gemini here...

Guys, as you can see I just registered the forum and this is my probably 4th or 5th posts here. Who the hell am I to promote Gemini? Why would people believe someone with freaking 3-4 posts on this forum? Smiley

I just transfered my money to Gdax by the way. After one trade, I would like to calculate all the fees for trading and withdrawal to my bank account.

Thanks a lot guys.
