Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts.

It depends on the signature campaigns.
For instance a signature campaign pays 0.045 BTC for 60 posts in a month for a member account, so you "may" sell it 0.05 btc Full member account "may" earn 0.4 btc in a month (on dadice, maybe more now). activity is important yet. if it's 120-199 then it's around 0.1-0.15 if it's over 200 activity that means it'll be Sr in a short time (1-2 months) so it can be sold for 0.2 btc
Sr member accounts 240-399 activity can be sold 0.3 BTC. 400+ accounts may be sold 0.4 btc.
Generally accounts worth 1-1.5x of the top paying fixed signature campaigns.
green trust: doubles the price btw.
Also depend on bitcoin's price. Some signature campaign might adjust bitcoin's price (since for now it getting low) so payrate also increase and account's price also get increase. I'm imagine if selling account already exist on this forum since 2009 - 2010 , I think Hero's account worth as BTC 5.000

For upcoming signature campaign, I think will be : Qualifying Posts:Must be made with the appropriate signature. Must be constructive to the topic. Investor-based games sub-board does not count. Non-English posts will not count. Posts in this thread does not count. Posts in the off-topic board do not count. Posts in Beginners & Help do not count. Posts in other signature campaigns do not count.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US Presidential Candidate Rand Paul to Appear at Bitcoin Event

Kentucky Senator and Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul is set to appear at a digital currency-focused event in New York City this weekend. To be held on 19th April at the private venue Union League Club, the event will be hosted by Blockchain Technologies Corp, a startup incubator associated with Bitcoin Center NYC. Paul made headlines earlier this month when he became the first presidential candidate in the 2016 race to begin accepting bitcoin donations. The announcement sparked debate among commentators divided as to whether Paul stands to gain from embracing digital currency or if other candidates would follow his lead to accept bitcoin donations. source: http://www.coindesk.com/rand-paul-new-york-bitcoin-event/when this happen, bitcoin can take a roll to become more known than ever. I'm glad that I'm know bitcoin can be trusted and reliable. It's just a matter of time

i've been around this community a few years and i still don't get why anyone would chose bitcoin.
At the first glance I know bitcoin, it has a lowest fee for a transaction. Unlike fiat currency, it require quite big fee. It also has a fast transaction if we pay for high priority. If many world using bitcoin as default currency, everyone will be more easy & faster to spending some money

That's was a horrible news. But what can we say if someone or some group conqueor some territory , they can do anything they want to. So that territory must be avoided or something terrible will happen for example rape cases. Even they must leave their own homeland

Free edition anti virus mostly can be download anywhere but provide a lower protection. You can try to buy Kaspersky, The most advance AntiVirus I've ever met. So many feature that choose from advance virus scanning until parental guide ( preventing your child to open prohibited site )

Still prefer gold. Something that exist in our world but it's hard to find it. Gold also have a stable price over many years
Bitcoin still unstable and unpredictable. So it can't be use for long term investment
