stocks.exchange have lots of problems lately , i couldnt even deposit btc there for days now i cant withdraw.
This is what keeps xsh from getting at least 0.5 usd
Coinomi is a good news but how about another fundraise for something bigger?
I would definitly join the cause...

You're entirely right

363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / [XSH] Shield speculation ! on: January 13, 2018, 05:11:09 PM
Hi guys

I'm very interested in this coin, seems very promising
The project and the dev are solid, he works hard, and the quantum proof is amazing !

Expected x3+ fore sure once it will hit new exchanges. ( coinexchange those days ! )

Just check the ANN : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2234453.0

Does anyone know on which exchange the Shield coin will go?

Back few weeks there were some rumors that XSh is going to be listed on coinexchnage. But I don't know what makes it up so hard to be listed there, but maybe it will done within next few days/weeks. I personally hope that after CoinExchange our next stop will be Cryptopia Smiley

XSH needs to be listed on more exchanges

Sure !
And blockfolio would help too
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: CCminer(SP-MOD) Modded NVIDIA Maxwell / Pascal kernels. on: January 13, 2018, 03:03:53 PM
Any (really improved ) x17 miner ?
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [Riser] Quality riser / Amazon ! on: January 13, 2018, 02:46:51 PM
Looking for a nice riser quality, and saw this on Amazon :

N.Oranie (Riser V9) => https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B077K28B6Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Lattcure (Riser V8) => https://www.amazon.fr/LATTCURE-Riser-adaptateur-prolongation-interface/dp/B07516Y1P8/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1515854705&sr=1-4&keywords=riser

Maybe a little expensive, but it seems better, shielded, and feedback is nice (one guy compares it to the  V7 and less risers, and says the diff is huge )

Your thoughts ?
I lacked some risers, so I ordered the V9 N.orranie pack

Will tell you about the quality difference (if it exists, lol)

I'm pretty sure the dev team can now easily raise the needed funds to list on exchanges like Cryptopia and Binance. I think Shield is becoming too big for the current exchanges.

Doesn't the dev team not have any premine?  You're saying they should just pay it themselves?  I'm not offering an opinion on that, just looking for clarification.

if you look at the genesis block you would notice that it have zero premine
if you look at the date of creation of this thread and time when blockchain starts you would notice that they posted this forum thread exactly at the moment of blockchain creation.
So everyone was in position of mining XSH. Even devs. If they mined it, and i hope they does, i see no problem with this fact.

Do you think there may come a point that XSH is so important to the crypto community that exchanges ask to list us, because thier exchange platform feels incomplete without XSH listed?

It is possible, the growth and development is incredible;

Confirmed/In Progress:

Web Wallet - Slight delay
Coinomi - Funds raised by community
Coinexchange listing - If they reply/engage
Social media - Lots of tweets from big accounts including one of the IOTA devs
Mac Wallet

This is after a few short months where the community has grown at an incredible rate and new updates with active development remains evident. This has all happened while the two exchanges with the most volume for XSH have had major challenges under the influx of new users.

It would be the first time an exchange ask for listing themselves Smiley

Just in a twitter account with 187k followers chose XSH as coins of the week

369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: January 12, 2018, 05:09:17 PM
Got an increase after clean install of drivers.
At 65% 1080ti thats my stats:

Check the dates

can anyone share some hints on how to update NVidia drivers via RDP on Win10? Don't have any screens attached to my rigs.. even with a local display updating the drivers for 8 GPU systems takes forever -- only tried it once via RDP and seems to be stuck somewhere in the middle.. turned off the system after 1 hour...

Display driver uninstaller does it clean

I did some research on new coins lately. Shield is by far the most promising one I found! Especially the Quantum proof feature is outstanding! I would never want to hold bigger amounts in a not Quantum resistant cryptocurrency!!! Great work so far dev!!!

Yeah dude, seems so promising. I continue buying more !

374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Riser] USB Cable length problem.. on: January 11, 2018, 07:28:37 PM
Something like this one, but shorter (100cm)
https://www.startech.com/uk/Cables/USB-3.0/6-ft-Black-SuperSpeed-USB-3-Cable-A-to-A-Male-to-Male~USB3SAA6BK
This sentence is important:

Our 6ft USB 3.0 A to A device cable features high quality Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) construction, helping to prevent electro-magnetic interference and ensuring reliable data communication.

Those ones are both good ?

375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Riser] USB Cable length problem.. on: January 11, 2018, 06:57:43 PM
Itīs a problem of cable. Anyway, signal from pci-e will not survive in unshielded cables. EMI generates by psu, cables and so on will penetrate unshielded cable and thats it.
You need to use a very good cable. I am using 100cm and is it ok, but this will be almost the limit.... I am sure that more than 150cm will be almost imposible...

Thanks for your answer.
I bought here :

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CPZHPYG?ref_=pe_2640190_255746880_404_E_DDE_dt_1

It's unshielded ??
Any link, otherwise, of 90cm+ very good cable ?
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / [Riser] USB Cable length problem.. on: January 11, 2018, 06:39:51 PM
Hi all

I just bought 3 USB3.0 cables, they are big, I thought thay could do the job.
It is 90cm cables, cause my MB is 'far' from the GPU's

Even with big usb3.0 cables, cards are no longer recognised, or few times, then no.
Is it the fault of the length of the cables ?

The riser have cable that doesn't exceed 60cm usually.. But it's a little small for me

What is the best pool (or pools) for mining XSH right now using the blake2s algo?  My rigs (nine nvidia 1070s) have been crashing while using the x17 algo, and I have had much stable success with the blake2s algo.

I've been using bigmine pool for blake2s, but recently the # of people mining balek2s on there has dried up.  Is there a better pool?  I've been trying the x17 algo on bsod, but I keep getting "illegal memory access" crashes with my .bat file on my rigs when I use that....

Also, none of the pools that I've found offer the ability to get email notifications when a rig is down ---- is there a good pool for mining XSH that has this feature?

Strange, my 4 1080TI's run fine on BSOD x17

Are you using ccminer?  What version are you using for x17?  Any particular intensity setting?

ccminer-alexis, i-21 for each card
22 crashes..

Binance, and even cryptopia, would insanely boost the price, too, cause a lot of people ( including me ! ) loves Cryptopia / ( even more ) Binance Smiley
