Hello I am new in antminer and electricity.

I have a nema 5-20 outlet supposed to be 240 volts. What adapter do I need to connect with my antminer s9.

Adapter, cables etc.....

Appreciate all your help.

Thank you
I think that you should have A powerful PSU like 300 bolts and you should also run only 1 Antminer on this PSU Because it will be a total benefits for you.

62  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What is mining's actual process? on: March 07, 2023, 05:46:39 PM
What is the actual mining process?
If you find a value by increasing only the nonce value, the maximum value of int is 4.2 billion.
It will be solved in 1 second by ASIC.(? right?) I know that 20 million ASICs (14TH/s Antminer S9 standard) are running around the world.
If you find everything in the nonce value, what do you change then? time value? Merkle Root?

Does it include worldwide trades from the last 10 minutes?
Then, even while doing the calculations for mining, several transactions per second continue to be created around the world.
Are these included? it isn't? Then, based on when will it cut?

How is the sha256 value found in the mining program? Do we have the source code of pool's mining program?
How many times per second does asic do this program, this value finding process?
Can I embed a separate, personally customized program inside asic?
I think that there are a lot of processing and also process that I will tell you such details.
In my knowledge, mining is a method of solving mathematics questions and in this regards a block is created and that's called digital mining and that is very different from others like Coal mining.
63  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I want to Mine Bitcoin on: March 07, 2023, 05:45:45 PM
I want to mine Bitcoin than what will be the Best Mining Machines or Graphics card that I can buy for future cause I am just trying to save Money and but either Mining machines or Masternodes. Masternodes are also too much expensive too.
Oh bro you can mine Bitcoin by several methods and some of there are listed below.
1. Buy your 9wn mining machines
2. Run a powerful Masternodes like Dàsh Masternodes
3. Make investment in mining companies.
These are the simple ways to earn passive income.
64  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining .vs buying in a bear market on: March 07, 2023, 05:44:51 PM
Should I buy two S19j Pro's for $3,700 USD and mine it for the next few years or just buy $3,700 worth of bitcoin (0.16 BTC) ?

My worry is that mining difficulty will keep going up and I will run out of time being profitable before I reach 0.16 BTC.

At the current difficulty of mining, it will take over 250 days to mine 0.16 BTC with two S19j Pro's (assuming electricity is free) but the difficulty will be WAY higher in the next 250 days...

I love the idea of mining because it allows me to dollar cost average into the market and there is no KYC involved.
By the way I will Prefer Bitcoin buying in bear market with the lowest possible price.
Because if I have some technical knowledge than I will be able to buy Bitcoin at lower possible price like current situation at 12k dollars if Bitcoin comes and in this way I will be in huge profits too.
65  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: hardware error on: March 07, 2023, 05:42:50 PM
we have created an OS that is capable of working with 8 s9j hash boards but after a while the last two(considering 6 s9j hash boards are normally acceptable) show many hardware errors and the hash drops to 0. what do you think the reason is? can it be the mining pool not allowing us to operate with these specs? or is there anything stopping us from obtaining the full capacity of the hash boards at all times?
I cannot understand what you  are saying but I will say this simply that you should explain that what has happened to you so might help you further.
And another solution is that you should talk to admins or support and they can guide you better in this situation too.
66  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What would happen? on: March 07, 2023, 05:39:47 PM
Lets imagine a world where Bitcoin has taken over as the main currency of the world and that almost everyone uses Bitcoin. What would happen if events like the Value Overflow Incident[1] or CVE-2018-17144 [2] happened again when Bitcoin was being used and relied on by most of the world?

When both of these events occurred  they were corrected shortly after but the Value overflow incident required a rollback of the Blockchain which was fine back in 2010 when only a few people used Bitcoin but what effect would rolling back the Blockchain have when most of the world uses Bitcoin?

If you think about how many times visa/master cards are used which crypto.com claims 24,000 a second [3] second then rolling back the Bitcoin Blockchain would roll back maybe millions of transactions which were concluded at the time. Goods or services that were bought with those transactions may have been completed and during a event like this the vendor could lose out on their payment.

Would this harm Bitcoin because everyone who used it would lose faith in its integrity or do you think it would not have a big impact? The 2nd example the Bitcoin core devs found a way of printing unlimited Bitcoin but it found it early enough to fix it. 2018 a lot more people were using Bitcoin and if someone did exploit it we could have seen a lot of faith in Bitcoin be lost.

How can we prevent this in the future because once we have converted all the world or most of the world we cannot afford for things like this to happen imo and it could destroy further adoption of Bitcoin if a big enough event like the previous two occurs when most of the world uses Bitcoin.

1. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Value_overflow_incident
2. https://bitcoincore.org/en/2018/09/20/notice/
3, https://crypto.com/university/blockchain-scalability

tldr: What would happen if the Bitcoin blockchain was rolled back when most of the world depended on it?
Oh yeah bro, your speculations are good But I want to say that this is just a theory but in real life that could be possible because governments and other high class people won't follow them.
There are more mysteries than we can ever imagine at that time. So Bitcoin can never be adopted properly.
67  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin can't be robbed on: March 07, 2023, 05:33:36 PM
I think that there a lot of ways to rob Bitcoin and some are just hacking, stealing and so others are like scamming with people who do not know.
Some of these are listed below.
1. Scamming On telegram
2. Fishy Gmail
3. Exchange Hack
4. Exchange manipulation

There are some of these methods.
68  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: NiceHash is paying 6% more than mining Bitcoin traditionally on: March 06, 2023, 04:12:33 PM
NiceHash is paying 6% more than mining Bitcoin traditionally via a pool. Here is an explanation of how this is possible:

1️⃣ NiceHash is a hashpower marketplace.

Buyers are placing orders for hashrate. Orders can be manipulated by increasing or decreasing price and speed or canceling them.

2️⃣ NiceHash EasyMining

EasyMining is a way of solo mining blocks of Bitcoin (and other coins). EasyMining allows ordinary users with almost zero Bitcoin knowledge to participate in mining and potentially confirming a block of transactions by buying hashrate. This can be done in a very user-friendly way with just a couple of clicks.

For example, buying a package of SHA256 hashrate for $200 currently gives a user probability of 1:608 to confirm a block and earn a full Bitcoin block reward.

3️⃣ Higher Bitcoin ASIC miner payrates

Buyers of EasyMining are paying a premium price for hashrate and thus increasing the average payrate for the sellers (miners).

This is how much Bitcoin you would earn if you would mine at NiceHash:

❇ 5.59% more in the past 7 days
❇ 4.31% more in the past 30 days
❇ 6.33% since EasyMining Launch

I do not know the reason behind This that why are you doing this because how can you loss on your machines if you give 6% profit.
If you are doing than this is just a big fortune to do that. I think that people who have big Chunks of money will be fortunate.
69  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining on the cloud on: March 06, 2023, 04:09:13 PM
Hello! is there any legitimate way to mine bitcoin on the cloud and earning the rewards in my address ?
I do not know that why people do not understand that those people who have such high mining machines will be able to share their hash power in actually to sell toy their power. And they are already making profits. So they do not need such money. They are only scammers and will scam you your money.
70  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: March 06, 2023, 04:06:30 PM
Bitcoin was invented by the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 and released as open-source software in early 2009. It was gradually recognized by many until it reached a peak of $19,783 per bitcoin in late-2017.

From the beginning of bitcoin history I know that many people become rich instantly when they hold their bitcoins and sold at the highest price last 2017.  After the price of bitcoin fluctuated and dropped where many investors got scared and started to panic to sell their bitcoin even if they went bankrupt. But we cannot hide that bitcoin has changed many lives.

On the other hand, after bitcoin dump many are still investing, especially as the price of bitcoin gradually rises again. And due to the continuous development of bitcoin it has become more and more popular and attractive to investors especially to the rich and big companies.

Now bitcoin is preparing to reach another ATH. Are you still there and holding your bitcoins? What happened to your life after 10 years in bitcoin? Is there any changes?
I want to say that if I have had at least 5000 dollars than I have high hopes that I might convert them to 200k dollars and still thing is that I have not 5000 dollars. Ànd I am trying hard to save these 5000 dollars and that could be my fortune.
71  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to surprise a friend on: March 05, 2023, 04:13:30 PM
Is Bitcoin a perfect birthday present for a 25 years old college student? I want to surprise a friend, he is facing a lot of challenges due to his studies and he likes Bitcoin but can't afford investing money because of his studies since he is sponsoring himself, we've been together since 2011 and his birthday is on 27th of this month, do you think 0.03BTC is a cool present 🎁 for a birthday.

Would you love to accept Bitcoin as a Birthday Gift?
Yeah that could be super cool if Know what is Bitcoin and crypto. Because if he do not knows crypto than it might be super clumsy for him. So if he do not know than just teach him how to do such things. So he might make some fortune from this birthday gift.
Are you planning to give him 1000 dollars or more or less in Bitcoin?
72  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry on: March 05, 2023, 04:08:43 PM
I think that's Super dumb idea because I have seen that people who invest someone's people money, always end up in loss and their reputation might also go down. And that's not good idea in my opinion.
That's why people should invest those money whom they want to loose. That's why I am never doing these such things. I have my own earnings, if I loose this money than i have no such regrets.
73  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you accept ? on: February 28, 2023, 01:44:13 PM
So why did SEC now accepts that everything apart from Bitcoin is a security? This makes me smile that they keep Bitcoin out of the hook but is it true that all other crypto projects can be considered a security?

What do you think? Oh, and here you go, before you ask where I read this news from

https://cryptomaton.medium.com/sec-everything-apart-from-bitcoin-is-a-security-ef371b1f0bd3
I do not know what could be the reasons but I will say that they are afraid that Bitcoin might ruin them. And that's why might not accept Bitcoin and also crypto.

75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: February 03, 2023, 09:32:53 AM
The dream of every successful businessman or woman is to have a good successor. you can not be in the light in which bitcoin has brought you to and allow your children to suffer because you failed to teach them the secret behind your wealth. Let your kids know that bitcoin is the surest way to financial freedom, teach them now that bitcoin is of more value than fiat currency, educate them about the importance of bitcoin to mankind, let them know that bitcoin has changed the economy of countries who saw the light in it and adopted it as a means of doing transactions.

Now that your kids are young and vibrant, be their tutor, ensure they are bitcoin oriented, save them from financial dependency, encourage them to rely on bitcoin instead of saving fiat currency that Depreciates now and then.

Our kids represent the leaders of tomorrow, let's teach them about bitcoin now that we can.

Hi brother I am single and still I ma not married. But in future I plan to do marriage. And if I have had choices than I will Keep my portfolio for my children and also will tell them if they have any kind if Interest in this field. So that's a good thing Bitcoin should be a good investment for us. That's why I like Bitcoin so much.

77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / If There could be A Time where A Man itself will be like wallet? on: January 29, 2023, 06:05:48 PM
Today I was wondering because I have seen Ready player one that is based on Metaverse that we are trying to achieve right now. So I was wondering that wether there will be a time might come when a human will be as a wallet and if someone scan than he can see it's money and can send with it's own voice and also Eyes other such security to pay and buy Money.
And I think that at that all we are reading will not be a live to see this. Because I think that one or two centuries will be needed for such upgradation.
So what are your opinions about this.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First thing i will do if Bitcoin become legal tender globally on: January 29, 2023, 05:44:23 PM
WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU WILL DO IF BITCOIN BECOMES GLOBALLY ACCEPTED JUST LIKE THE INTERNET?
Globally accepted is different than globally legal tender.

Globally legal tender means if someone uses bitcoin to buy your goods at your store, you are not allowed to reject.
Globally accepted means you are free to accept or reject bitcoin as a payment method at your store.

Think more deeply, globally accepted does not mean it will be accepted every where on Earth, at all nations and all locations. Like the US. dollar which is a global currency but maybe you won't be able to use it at every location globally.
I can agree with you mate because legally all over world for Bitcoin is way impossible to imagine and that's because there is nothing else in the world ever that has been accepted in whole world all at once. So we can say that Bitcoin might be accepted 50% to 70% in all over world by once century when most of people might live in outer space. So I can say that If digital crypto might be accepted than all of fiat currency 💲💵 will be dumped and no one might use it.
79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: January 29, 2023, 05:40:38 PM
Watching the lately spot about Musk appearing on live tv this weekend for showing what all the hype is about and if he will actually have a mention of his favorite cryptocurrency doge, it seems the media are jumping all over this appearance.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWWzszskgmA

What are your thoughts about this North American appearance and what do you think he will do or say about doge or even bitcoin?
I think since Miley Cyrus is the musical guest he will have her dress up as a dog and call her doge. Cheesy
She likes cats and had dressed up as them on stage during her concerts, so you never know what these two crazy people will do on this episode.
By reading your post and also my other reviews made me to some of these mixed reviews about this Elon musk Bitcoin strategy and these are described below 👇
1. ELON Musk Knows the full potential of Bitcoin and also crypto. He knows that maybe this is the Cryptocurrency that can make me Trillionare in future because if crypto potential and he can do this.
2. He allowed dogecoin because he knows that having a single transaction of 1 billion dollars will cost me only some pennies in transactions fee than transfer almost billion dollars through bank may be a big problem. 3. And also I think that he came here for its own benefits than ither like us that we are a community.

80  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Main reason government won't fully accept bitcoin on: January 29, 2023, 12:42:27 PM
The kind of people we have in government are people who always want to fight for their selfish interests,  anything that will surely benefit them. If it's something good that has to with better development for humanity as far as it won't benefit them they will surely go against it.

The reason government won't accept bitcoin is not because it is a decentralized currency,  it is because they won't be able to print it like they print fiat  to steal as much as they can .

If bitcoin is something the government can manipulate to steal public fund they would accept it even before now without any delay.

There are many things and also dark secrets that are needed to be considered regarding why governments do not accept Bitcoin and crypto and these are described below as follows
1. ILLLETRATE  people in Law and In Courts
2. Governments ban crypto because they think that Bitcoin might dethrone their fiat crypto.
3. They also think that Bitcoin is a source of Black money laundering and that's the main reason behind this.

In some cases they are right and in some cases they are wrong too. In future this might be settled too.
