In order for an asset to mature, stable volume and price level is needed (consolidation). Man how can you be so impatient to complain after 7 days? Cloak just listed on Binance give it some patience. BitBay's coin (on its own separate blockchain, not ethereum based) serves for the purpose of collateral during double deposit escrow transactions. It's the one thing that holds two parties to their word, to form any agreement in the marketplace. The two deposits are always in BAY, however payment for the transaction can be literally anything, (including crypto or fiat currencies). 2. There are no masternodes with BitBay (helps maintain decentralization), only staking on Proof of Stake 3.0 3. here are only a few projects that I would bet on for 2018.
By this I mean hold a large position in due to investment.
Of course any project that you help create, through actively being a participant in its development and marketing can be very lucrative, but I'm talking about actually undervalued projects that have released enough to be competitors in the top 10 best blockchains while still being under 1 billion in marketcap.
In truth there is only one. Waves!!!
It has the fastest on chain tx
It has secure smart contracts
It has a decentralized exchange built into the client that trades at blazing speeds
It has a blockchain creation tool that instantly allows you to create a token for under 10 dollars which can be traded against eth bitcoin and a myriad of other tokens without a verification process
It has fiat on and offramp for 50% of the planet,
And so much more..
Best of all it has these things now!!!

I fully agree with you. All valid points that you list. There is no hype to drive the prices up. Price increase will be gradual over time as more organizations adopt the platform and roll out tokens. It is a longer term project in my view. What would be great though to add to the list are Ledger Nano S support and integration with a Bitcoin ATM. Yes, just add on your list that Waves has an actual working platform, which most of the top cmc cyptos don't have yet. Most of these are still on testnet, or have a very limited usable platform. Is there a good reason to use Waves’ smart contracts compared to Ethereum or Cardano?
Cardano my firend is 12-18 months away from being operational, it's just speculative token that doesnt do anything right now As for ethereum it's conjested and pressed against the wall. they really need to come up with a solution to adress this issue fast but it seems the solution is 12 months away from being implemented too. also the Parity multisig situation doesnt help at all at there is a risk of forking and splitting the chain again. Waves seems like it has everything in place and figured out in advance. Yes i fully agree, major problem for ETH is the transaction speed, it's not made for mass transactions. i think ETH can do around 5 tx/second and Waves NG algoritm can scale up to 1200 tx/second in current state. |

How are smart contracts charged on WAVES? Will this be good for miners and PRICE?
Users of smart contracts will pay a fixed fee, i think its around 0.001 Waves (no GAS required like with ETH, or NEO). This fee will go to the nodes, (Waves has no miners like with ETH). The more mass adoption, the more transactions on the platform, the more fees for the nodes. You can start your own node with 1000 Waves, or lease your Waves out to another node to earn rewards. Smart contracts and Atomic swaps will contribute to the mass adoption because with will enhance functionality for users. For example, it will allow ERC20 tokens to be traded on the DEX. |

Value is what you get, price is what you pay - Warren Buffett. Try to look at the fundemental value of an asset, not on the price of today. Waves is currently techically unmatched and has a working platform in production. Price will follow mass adoption by actual usage, not short term hype. |

How can you charge such a low fee for smart contract? Where is reward for miners?
Transaction fees do not go to miners, but go to Waves nodes. You can start you own node with already 1000 Waves, or lease your waves out to current nodes to earn rewards. |

Difference is that Waves has already a working platform on which smart contracts and atomic swaps will be the enabler for enhanced functionality. Just try out the Waves platform yourself and you can see that there is already a working DEX and ICO platform that runs super fast and smoothly. Most platforms have a good market cap, but no product/platform in production. Try to use ADA, EOS, IOTA, VEchain. You will be disappointed as they only have fancy websites with whitepapers, but no platform yet to use. |

1) ETH is PoW, can handle less transactions per second and gass is required which makes it expensive 2) Cardano has no working platform yet and smart contracts are expected Q4 2018 - way overhyped project in my view Waves, has already a working DEX, ICO platform, LPOS algoritm, super fast transactions with Waves NG and smart contracts are now already in test. In my view, only thing that can match Waves technically is NEO platform. |

After making some research, I think it is a project with great potential and great development too. However, it is not very common and I'm actually a bit surprised that it has not gained the popularity that it deserves.  It's because 95% of people buying crypto only care about price and not the tech behind it. See it as an opportunity that you found a crypto which has an actual working product with great potential before the mass people know about it Be sure that some day there will be a shake out on the market and only cryptos with an actual product will survive. In the top-20 there are a bunch of over-hyped coins that are technically way behind Waves. Look at EOS, still in test stage but on number 5 in CMC. The market is bad in value new technologies in early adoption stage, just like internet conmpanies in the 90ies and 00s, as most people just follow the hype like sheeps. |

What does waves offer different than ethereum? Because if they are almost indentical, aka the same thing then I don't see why would anybody want to make and switch between ethereum and Waves. Ethereum is somewhat standard where people will want to lunch their own tokens and built their smart contracts, with huge support from the community and this is why it will be in my mind when it comes to smart contracts and dApps and tokens in general. Why is Waves better, or why would I want to do anything on ti rather than do it on ethereum???
First of all, I would advice to just try the Waves platform for yourself, as it is important to form your own judgement and user experience. Also, you can read a lof of information on their Website, or join their Discord channel. There are some major differences between Waves and ETH. 1) Waves has Leased proof of stake (LPOS) consensus algorithm. No hardware needed for mining. You can start your own node, or lease them to another node. 2) Waves has the new generation consensus algorithm implemented (Waves NG). This means the network can handle much more transactions per second than ETH (around 8.5x faster) and it can scale up even faster. ETH had a lot of issues in the past with handling large volumes of transactions. 3) Waves has much lower transaction fees than ETH 4) Waves has an integrated working DEX on it's platform. You can exchange crypto's for only 0.003 Waves, which is around 0.01 USD today. 5) Waves has a very user friendly wallet, both desktop and online version 6) By owning Waves you will receive regular airdrops and miner rewards (passive income) 7) This year, Waves will implement smart contracts and atomic swaps. I own Waves since beginning of 2017 and really believe on the long term potential of this project. It has an actual working product, with a clear unique vision for the future. Also, it has a state of the art technology that can scale up for mass adoption with "Waves NG". When smart contracts and atomic swaps are implemented, Waves can easely compete with ETH, or NEO from a technical point of view. There are so many over-hyped cryptos in the space that have no proven working product, or are just copies/forks from the same thing. i am sure that at some point there will be a major shake-out in the market. Having a solid working product will be the key for survival on the long term. |

I wish we could see a next giant pump in Indian conference, not easy to wait for so long time, we need to be bigger asap, the market cap isn't looking good. Come on man, traditional PR seldom works in crypto. What are they going to be doing? How will they measure success? This just seems like money down the drain. Why not try and build local communities instead? Or pay some devs/testers on Breeze? Yes, i fully agree. Better to invest in tech development for the moment. Why do marketing now, if there are still so many things to finish from the roadmap. A good product should sell itself and on the long term only mass adoption is the sustainable value increase (look at BTC and ETH, they never needed heavy marketing to get where they are now) . Marketing will only facilitate the short term speculaters to get profits faster. Extending the community and build new partnerships will be more valuable. |
