Or just ran away with the coins?

 Huh

Don't worry, it's still there .. comes up for me, albeit slowly.

2  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB] 400 GH/s Bitfurys October Delivery 1BTC share 119/119 Available on: July 11, 2013, 08:57:05 AM
You're taking 5% this time? The KNCs were 2%.  Looks like the cost per GHs is a little higher here too.

Not expecting to sell 12 devices in this GB, so commission is higher.  If I sell more than 4 would lower commission rate

There are now 17 Jupiters in the other group buy ... will you be lowering your management fees there accordingly?

I did ask this in that thread weeks ago but was ignored.

Soniq

Will you be updating the spreadsheet with the new queue positions that KNC should be releasing about now?

Cheers

One suggestion I have that might be worth discussing ....

IF we get our Jupiters pretty early on in the orders (and I see no reason why not) we would have quite a substantial hashrate at over 5Thash.
Surely this would be enough to attract others to join our pool as the first PURE JUPITER pool, hell, we could call it JupiterPool.

A 2% fee (or whatever) we could share that out to shareholders.

Alternatively relax the jupiter restriction to give gpu folks a chance to mine with us etc, spin it however suits.

Just a thought.

edit: Just thought as well, if the timing is right it could be pretty big ....lots of individuals get Jupiters, first thing they do is attempt solo. Yeah some will hit early blocks but most won't. They will work out that they're better off in a pool for regular return, so what better timing if at that point JupiterPool exists. Perfect, where do I join Smiley

Soniq .. was just wondering:

If the management fees would have been 4% at 5 Jupiters or less, and 2% otherwise (which initially was 12) would the management fees drop to 1% at some point following that logic?

Cheers

I tried some but because I never traded or registered I can't buy bitcoins for 10 or more shares
Depends how much are needed for next miner

Localbitcoins only up to 2 via escrow not possible without
Other exchanges take up to a week to verify data and free the bitcoins for transfer

Last time I bought shares here via ebay paypal (no paypal recall possible because no material goods)
http://www.ebay.de/itm/271209734980?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

I would even pay with western union

OP there must be a way
Or guys
Please help me

Did you try https://localbitcoins.com/, just register a free account then you should be able to buy with various methods including bank transfer via Escrow.

Edit: Apologies didn't see the previous post from koopa.
Could you not buy 1 BTC then buy more after, maybe with same seller.

+ I think some people on this forum trade, you may have to search.

Edit2: I just remembered, Soniq had a fair amount of interest already in a paypal "pot", your 10 shares might be enough for him to fill a paypal order!?

I got Bit Message running on my Mac.
Since I didn't want to use the .dmg package as mentioned on https://bitmessage.org/forum/index.php/topic,1690.0.html, I went through a lot of steps to get it going.

Some hints: Download sqlite and Python 3 yourself.

Bit Message is now running and it spits out a lot of messages(to say it politely).

I wonder if we need this Bit Message.
Why not communicate here on the forum like we have been doing ?

Same applies to Google Docs, do we really need that ?
Google already knows way too much about us...
And besides that, I haven't been able to see the document yet, don't know how to open it since I have no link to it.

Sorry if you think I am too negative, but that's how I see it.

Not too negative, you raise an awful lot of good points!

Really? We can't use the forum as it's not private. PMs wouldn't work well either, as everyone would have to respond to everyone etc.
This fact makes the other points moot.

As for Google, if you sent Soniq your email address then he will have mailed it with the sharing link.
Just add that mail address as a google account address (no name, address, shoe size etc required).

I understand most Apple users have been spoon fed functionality thus removing the need for anything technical beyond topping up an iTunes account, but it's not hard.

(Disclaimer: That last bit was a joke btw, I know there is a difference between Mac user and iPhone/Pad user, and mean no offence)

No
Any outstanding shares that haven't been enough to purchase the next Jupiter would be refunded.
This would mean as it stands 9 jupiters would be bought with 270 shares. (17 being refunded)

Also bear in mind that the longer you leave it, the higher the chance you would be left on an outstanding order, so roll up roll up, don't miss out etc.

Seriously, I think Soniq has worked hard to secure investment for all the outstanding shares, so I don't think it will happen anyway.
10  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Group Buy]12 KNCminer Jupiter's [Live][Updated] on: June 08, 2013, 08:31:43 PM
Soniq,
Could I just clarify that proceeds will be shared out prorata form ALL delivered Jupiters to ALL shareholders.

By that I mean if the first 2 jupiters get up and running first then will all shareholders be getting shares from that moment.

I presume that the jupiter number that a shareholder has contributed towards (e.g. 2nd on your documents) is purely for your own administration and letting us know where you're at.

Is this correct?

Many Thanks

I have have clarified this in OP. That priority will be given to shareholders in order they invested  in case of partial delivery.

My reasoning is that this GB is not an recognized equity/offering, but a combined effort to buy 12  Jupiter miners. Therefore your share purchase is buying a portion of earnings from one or more Jupiter miner.  .

Surely everyone should get a share of each and every miner that starts hashing, that is what a group buy for shares in 12 (or part thereof) jupiters is.
Otherwise we have just invested in a group buy of 1x Jupiter, of which you are doing 12 times!

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][WDC][POOL][RBPPS][DDOS-protected] WorldCoin mining pool 2 on: May 22, 2013, 02:43:57 PM
What does "Lost 12 shares due to stratum disconnect on pool 0" mean?

I've now just had "Lost 13 shares due etc", what causes that?

All my other miners are connected fine to other pools.

What I can't understand is if the transfer has errored why take my money!
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / MTGox OKPay Error on: May 20, 2013, 10:10:44 AM
Hi there
I wonder if anyone could help me.
I got my OKPay account verified by MTGox so that I could make a withdrawal and withdrew $100.
I checked in the account history and it shows Status: error. (see below)
However my money is gone from the account! What sort of transfer still takes the money out if it errors!

No answer from their support.

Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks

Which transaction? Is adding trust a "transaction"?
