I abandoned the pool, because I was the only minner and I dislike it (very low information)
Although this (0 pool mining) the blockchain worked like a charm...
I send and received the payment fast and with no problem. I already solomining and take a block (the difficulty are very low at the moment), I suppose that there are some people solomining too (CPUs i think, maybe any old/GPU).
Now it's very easy to earn coins, I take some thousands in a few hours, with patience the ugly pool work well and make the payments.
I like the name/logo the characteristics, algo (scrypt), the wallet, the webpage and the blockexplorer...
When some people joined to the pool, or the devs announced more... this coin could grow a little more.
A source, more pools, and some airdrop/bounty (they have a huge premine), although this and the very basic pool, I don't dislike at all this start.

Interesting, 1st block 13/01/18?
|
|
|
Well i received some payments (the mining rewars need 30 confirmations).
But since a half and hour, we don't received any payment, when before was a payment each 5 minutes.
|
|
|
The pool doesnt work.
Has more than 25 pending blocks, no payment... and the blockexplorer say that only need 20 confirmation.
And the worker statistics reset with every block...

The cuda miner give me errors like ".. does not validate by CPU" in a 970GTX

In the airdrop form walletID is the address?? or the ZAddress? or any other thing?

Yes we need more information. By the way, this is my Wave address: 3PEQvAWrYPEKzyqnkwE9t3FEJBSfjb4HQco

Yes you missing that they become with a javascript miner... but have a lot of conflicts with some virus/browser protections... and they finally made this custom pool. In around 1 hour, we will open a new pool that can be mined with a modified version of XMR-STAK-CPU.
Considerations:
- We are opening this pool for three reasons: ---- We need to test some developments. ---- For people that can't use webminer. ---- For people that are getting a very low hashrate on web miners.
- Pool is running a modified version of standard cryptonote pool. Also, the miner is modified for interact with pool:
Please, we are doing it with our best intentions. Don't try to be the smartest and try with another miner because:
- Pool will reject your connection. - Your attemps to login to the pool with another miner will be finished with a ban, temporarily or permanent.

Ok, you don't know how configure the config.txt... but its not our fault, its your...
If was possible use the GPU, the hashrate will be like x10 or more, I am sure that only CPU are mining now.
PD: I am use a Ryzen 1700 (use only the 8 fisical core) with 600H/s, revise your calculations pls.
Why cripple the miner config and delete the documentation - ask yourself why. I'd love to revise my very rough estimate but their pool doesn't give sufficient information to do - ask yourself why they deleted those screens from the open source pool software to begin with. Also, they are breaking the xmr-stak GPLv3 license by not releasing the source code to the miner - ask yourself why. Or carry on believing you haven't wasted your time. "It's not our fault, it's your." Maybe I'll be bored tomorrow and make a GPU miner build for fun. Anybody want to bid on it? I ask myself all this questions... They make this pool, with these "features" for make a CPU only pool... If you want to make a first month CPU only Cryptonote coin... how do you make it?

I thought the web miner was an interesting idea but I've come back to take a look at the Windows CPU miner and there are so many issues with this coin: - config.txt is missing any documentation, despite this being based on xmr-stak-cpu which comes with embedded documentation: https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak-cpu/blob/master/config.txt
- config.txt is crippled if you have 3+ cores; it will only ever use 2 cores maximum
- config.txt is crippled even more on Windows if you have hyperthreading enabled -- it will use a real core + same core's hyperthreaded core
- they're using an old version of xmr-stak-cpu - why?
- more importantly, this is all artificial... anybody can just build the more modern xmr-stak for themselves, which supports GPU mining*
- pool is crippled and no external pools allowed, you can't see who's mining so you can't see if somebody is already using a GPU miner!**
- 37kh/s network / 250 miners (rough very optimistic guess, according to pool stats) ~= 150H/s miner which doesn't correspond to numbers I'm seeing people mention here, especially given the 2 core issue above so I suspect there are already GPU miners on the network or there people mining without pointing out the config issues - not a healthy community
* I saw some post about IP banning unsupported mining clients but I don't see how this is possible - how will they know it's a GPU being used? I will be happy to reverse engineer this and build a GPU miner if somebody wants to pay for it, PM me See here for the kind of performance you expect to see with GPU mining: http://monerobenchmarks.info/** Maybe somebody can build a scraper and check payments Either the devs are very naive or they are keeping the GPU miner to themselves - effectively a hidden premine. Or both situations are possible. Either way, be warned! I'm annoyed I wasted time CPU mining this without seeing this for what it is.

Can you or anyone else name some of these cryptonote coins that have been launched for 3-4 month but are not listed on the exchange?
Me, me... Micronotecoin, Iridium, Meduza, Croat, Fotknote, Humanitary Coin, BitcoinN, B1test, Monerolight, Amero+, Murbizia... These are only the Cryptonote coins, that have less than 6 month, but more than 4 with no exchange... There are a lot more, news and olders... Ah, sorry and of course Sikka...

No, and kotopool.work work with different port (like 3333)

Will give 10,000 UNA each to the first 4 people who post their wallet address. I GPU mined them in a couple of hours while I was setting up a pool, but the coin is going nowhere IMHO and I'd rather give them away to people who think otherwise than just delete the wallet and destroy them.

How you have 100-200 MHs... I am mining with a Ryzen, and never see more than 0.9 MHs....
where do you see your hashrate? if you are solomining, please join the pool instead. Dev asked for that, because ppl who solomine stress the network, it's the reason why everything failed during the previous launch... I see my hashrate when i make a "stats" command in a separate "chearcoin" session with " cheatcoin.exe -d" I mining in pool.
