361  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why did you have faith in btc? on: October 17, 2018, 09:19:48 AM
1) Because the tech is fundamentally unique
2) because the current financial system is corrupt and the participles governing it very shady as  fractal loans .
3) it is a great asset and more people are realizing it
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO, is it good or bad idea? on: October 17, 2018, 09:14:20 AM
KYC for ICO participants - investors is not an idea, there is no  question about KYC in this case.
If there is no KYC before getting the their tokens, than something is off  and you should not participate in this project at all.

But on the other hand, if they ask kyc for bounty hunters they clearly do not know what they are doing, sadly they announce for bounty kyc only after the job is done.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: October 16, 2018, 09:30:38 AM
In general, yes I am holding. But for some tokens which I have learnt have very week teams behind, i look for exit points on daily basis.
Also i am thinking to do some trades, which i have not done for some time now., possibly Ripple.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: October 16, 2018, 09:27:42 AM
At this point I am starting to feel more and more positive regarding the market situation, I am not confident but i see that situation could change positively, slowly.
Thus i think that ETH is a good investment right now and is a short time period hold.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: October 16, 2018, 09:25:37 AM
I have my coins in wallet and multiple exchanges, recently I had this situation where i realized that I have sold some tokens few months ago and left USDT in that exchange ( i do it often when i see a good exit point) ,  but i could not find remember the exchange and spent a good part of my day to find the right exchange with funds. The lesson is to write down all the exchanges and funds.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So Much Scam Bounty on: October 15, 2018, 09:44:32 AM
I usually dont get cought in cam bounties since i tend to do my homework before joining bounties but recently i have been getting in some bad campaigns, not necessarily scams but just seem that projects are not honest.

One of them was bitscreener, they had this small rule which was unrealistic and they cut the bounty 4 times then advertised for all participants.
367  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO MAKE MONEY ON BITCOINTALK on: October 15, 2018, 09:37:46 AM
The "warning" is not enough and the post should include much more with the notes of how easy it to get banned for copy pasting , spamming and that on has to produce quality content to be able to  wear any signature. Also warning about phishing would have to be included.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC for bounties and airdrops on: October 15, 2018, 09:25:42 AM
Airdrop by definition is a small amount which is dropped to a lot of people.
The only way how it could be worth it, is that the value skyrockets at one point of time.
This means that this is gambling.
We don't talking about what's the definition of airdrop nor bounty on here. We are also know if 99% airdrops only waste our time because it's almost worth nothing.
The question actually was simple, what do you think about KYC on bounty and airdrop?

I thought that it was clear that giving your KYC is an additional risk, because it could be lost intentionally or not  just because KYC is not done right and security is week.
So the risk of KYC and the possibility of hitting the jackpot in airdrop is not worth of my time and I would not recommend anyone who is asked to do KYC for airdrop to not do it.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: professional advertisers please advice on: October 14, 2018, 07:15:34 PM
I recently saw some industry "titans" in block-chain conference and their suggestions on the most effective advertisement strategy where:
1) Icobench
2) influencers
3)Advisors

And they did not mention bounties, possible because it is not their business.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter audit pro on: October 14, 2018, 06:58:45 PM
When I was doing twitter campaigns, I found that after i paid the first and the lowest tire fee for twitter audit , it did work also after the month ended and for months to come.
Maybe this will work for some of you as well.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Newbie bounty manager on: October 11, 2018, 06:36:13 PM
In general i try to avoid Newbie managed campaigns but there is no good reason to think that Newbie Managers manage more scams that actual managers , there have been a lot of  scams managed by experienced bounty managers.

Also campaigns with Newbies ten to be overlooked thus can be very lucrative.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: idAx.mn is horrible exchange, do not use it. on: October 11, 2018, 06:32:48 PM
There are many reasons why they can ask for id verification, being fake exchange may be one reason also nut we couldn't name them fake without having a solid proof.
If you are sure their trade volume is not reals, you should simply move to any popular exchange to make sure you will not lose your coins

This does not necessarily mean that they are fake, it means that they are shady at least.
And i dont see many reasons in this situation, i deposited and after few hours wanted to withdraw the same token, they ask for ID. There is no rational explanation and this is the first i have heard of it. Also the country of their residence is suspicious- Mongolia.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: idAx.mn is horrible exchange, do not use it. on: October 10, 2018, 09:08:46 AM
Tis exchange have ANN thread in bitcointalk,if they have then better create this thread to scam accusation section and tag them for their shady activities so it will be really helpful for the other newbies.BTW I never hear that exchange name yet until now.

Since i dont have a solid proof that they are scamming people, just very shady practices.
I dont think that scam section is appropriate but his thread on other hand will be in google search after a while and people will potentially see it before registration.

No need on creating a self-moderated thread when you do tend to speak out some exchange issues.
No,there is need for self moderated thread if their newbie trolls come here and write comments with no solid ground .
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / idAx.mn is horrible exchange, do not use it. on: October 09, 2018, 09:51:41 AM

In last few days I have had the worst experience with this exchange and I want to share so others wont have to go trough this.
The exchange is called idax.mn ,yes idax.mn not idex.

I saw that token of interest had a decent volume there so i decided to deposit, which went very well but then i noticed something off about this particular token trades . Trades where fake and done by bots thus the volume was fake. Ok , this was frustrating but it is nothing new in crypto world, since there was no way my order is gonna go trough with those bots, I decided to withdraw. To my surprise after I wanted to withdraw, they ask for my ID. This is unseen, the token value was few hundred dollars. And i did not sell and I did not buy anything on their platform, there is no legal reason for them to ask my ID.

I tried contacting the support, after about 4 emails back and forth, they did not understand the difference between " withdrawing" and " depositing". Either they did not understand English ( english support btw) or there was bots. After I got more aggressive, they told that i have to do ID nevertheless.

Since I am an EU citizen, my KYC goes under GDPR and with line of GDPR in this case they are most likely breaking it by forcing me to submit KYC and they are not explaining why they ask ID in this situation. Nevertheless they did not react to GDPR as well. I could not find the location of them, but possibly it is Chinese so they cant be touched by any foreign law.

I dont have problem with KYC in general but in this case there are several RED FLAGS. They have fake volume, horrible support, and no reason for ID verification in general.
There is a high chance that their side business is ID selling.

Thanks for reading and be careful.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is crashing due to the falling price? on: October 02, 2018, 09:39:14 AM
Your topic subject is just funny.
"Bitcoin is crashing due to the falling price?" you just as well could ask a question like this " Rain is falling due the dropping droplets?"

The subject with the information in post makes me think that this is a copy paste post.

But i will comment on the hashrate, hashrate means that people are betting on btc going up since the BTC mining above 7c/kwH is not profitable.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is burning of unsold tokens is good for ICO???? on: October 01, 2018, 10:00:46 AM
Hello friends, lot of ICOs failes to achieve 100% sale in their crowdsale. Most of the ICOs mentions in their terms and conditions that unsold tokens will be burned. My question is very simple " Is burning of token really helps ptoject?Huh". I am of the view that burning of the token doesn't help the project and I feel instead of burning unsold token it's better to use them for community and project development.

it seems that you do not understand that those tokens have no absolute value or even similar value to fiat, which stays relatively stable .
If they do burn the tokens, the token value becomes less because there are more of them, thats it.

If you make more tokens it does not means that they value is the same. lol
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is how much money has been lost because of hacking on: October 01, 2018, 09:58:09 AM
The numbers are quite alarming. According to this Forbes article, while the number fluctuates based on the market price and the published amount at the author’s time of writing, these are the quoted amounts that have been lost due to hacks as well as human error.

DAO - $53 million
Bitfinex - $72 million
Parity - $30 million + $275 million
Mt. Gox $460 million
Coincheck $530 million

It seems that this quote has only the biggest hacks, I can recall many more hacks . I found it very interesting that such big exchnages are not working harder on their security measures. Also maybe this will stop slowly when we are going towards decentralized exchanges.

And what about how much money is lost because of telegram an twitter scams and scam ICOs..

378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: September 30, 2018, 09:02:16 PM
Bans of cryptos is just stupid, governments are shooting themselves in leg by doing that.
But the phrase " crack it "  in this context would not be appropriate because it suggest that blockchain as cryptographic chain could be cracked and this could be done only with quantum computing.
