Not always. Difficulty going up means the coin is getting attention. Finally people are realizing all other Equihash coins are practically scams: ZCash (20% tax for ever), Zen (8.5% tax for ever) ZCL (forking to scam BTCP and dying soon) , VOT (4.5 % premine) , HUSH had pre mine and now also being abandoned and forking to massively premined BTCH. What a mess! And if you think "premined" is a light word , note that some of these premined are in excess of $20M USD which comes right out of miners pocket via dilution. In case of 20% ZCash the 20% tax is possibly in the range of hundreds of millions . How do you have an entire algorithm with only one good coin . Long live BTCZ the true Bitcoin on Equihash. What about ZERO, it is also Equihash!!! What you have to say about the coin? |

from what I understand, the development team is planning to reboot this in a serious manner, but they aren't quite ready yet. Plan is to issue a new token, with a 500:1 swap, and then burn those coins, which should make the token AND the coin much more valuable, as there is a rather high supply right now.
Since we won't use the old chain anymore (and some people want to keep the old chain alive), why not do an airdrop for FUNK holders of the new token instead of a swap? It has many advantages: - For holders; you get both tokens - For FUNK supporters; airdrops drive the value up, you get new tokens without giving up on FUNK and the old chain continues to exist - For SONIC supporters; you can sell your FUNK for higher prices (because the airdrop drives up value) and get more money to develop SONIC. Sounds like a win-win-win to me? We are seriously considering doing an airdrop and swap, there is support for it from some of the team. this coin is GARBAGE. There are literally DOZENS of better projects than this heap. Guys, the "lead developer" is a cat and they other "devs" are made up. You should never invest in a project with an anonymous team. Who the hell is DIMITRIS MARSELOS anyways? Well, if anyone did even a modicum of research they would know he has a background as a Manager, Passenger Services for a shipping company. How does someone go from that position (which he currently still does) to anything to do with crypto?? The answer is, they don't. This is a SCAM. I tried to warn you before, and am warning you again. It's not too late to get out now!
The only thing that matters in this game is whether you make profit or not!!! If you make profit and are satisfied cash out and go away, if you are not satisfied stay a little longer and try to make more profit!!!! Who cares who the dev is if you make profit?  |

Ontem o btc bateu em menos de 10k, o que para muitos era improvável de acontecer, depois que o marco foi quebrado. Mas é um ativo ainda muito volátil e depende muito das notícias que vão sair de regulações, principalmente no mercado asiático atualmente. E o preço do btc vai carregar o preço das altcoins... É verdade, ainda é um ativo bastante volátil, mas mais importante que notícias é resolver problema da escalabilidade e das altas taxas... se isso for resolvido, poucos governos vão consiguir conter o bitcoin e muitas alts por aí que sonham em tombar o bitcoin vão perder o propósito... vamos torcer pela Lightning Network, ver no vai dar. A volatilidade do BTC e das ALTs é o que dá o gás para este novo mercado. Estas descidas e rebounces do BTC são muito boas para mostrar quem está no controle (Baleias) e não Wall Street (WS). Depois que WS entrou no jogo, estavam todos apostando que não cairia abaixo de $10K, pois WS estaria no controle e se caísse abaixo de 10k seria ruim para os investidores de lá. Agora se WS quiser continuar no jogo vai ter que navegar junto com todos nas ondas dos BALEIAS e vão ter que se adaptar. E os desenvolvedores não estão nem ai para as variações do mercado e continuam trabalhando a todo o vapor. Lightning Network está as portas. Quem quiser crescer neste mercado o momento é agora!!!! Investir, e ou fazer trade no mercado de cryptos é para quem tem frieza, paciência, fé, e coragem (não falo da coragem tola mas daquela que você não se arrepende de não ter tentado). Não invista a sua vida nas cryptos, mas não recomendo ficar de fora. Também não deixe a síndrome da FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) determinar a sua entrada. Entre nas cryptos de forma ordenada e pense, vou entrar hoje 2018, para em 2020 não me arrepender de não entrado. |

Ainda começando a explorar e sofrer na Cryptopia  É dose fazer uma aposta errada e ficar esperando melhorar pra passar em frente. A gente aprende  É, isso é verdade!!! Vamos aprendendo com o tempo!!!! Mas se não tentarmos também não aprendemos, trade é uma arte, e o erros são lições valiosas. Pense o seguinte: estou pagando o valor x para aprender esta lição!!!  Concordo 100% com isso. Se for estudando e fazendo os trades, o que perder é mais barato que um "curso". Quanto aos ICOs, tenho começado a pesquisar mais a fundo. Entrei no ICO da EZT, por exemplo. Os 3 rounds esgotaram em menos de 10minutos. Estou ansioso pra ver quando começar o trade, mas acho que tem potencial. Queria ter entrado no Crypterium também, mas esgotou o HardCap. Alguns outros eu pensei em entrar, mas alguns me parecem ser mais marketing do que algo que vai ser entregue, como o caso da Envion. Meu maior problema é quanto as exchanges que vão transacionar as moedas. Vocês tem contas em muitas exchanges? Bem tenho contas em várias Exchanges, pois existem opções diferentes em Exchanges diferentes e se quisermos aproveitar temos que ter contas em tantas quanto precisarmos. |

Alguém de olho nos ICOs?
Crypterium vendeu o Hard Cap. Alguns outros que podem ter boa valorização também estão rolando.
Minha maior dúvida é quanto a negociação em corretoras menores, que não tenho conta e tem toda uma burocracia.
Como vocês tem feito com isso?
A rigor não entro em ICOs, prefiro esperar o lançamento, pois alguns que acompanhei tiveram uma redução brusca de preço quando entram nas EXCAHNGEs. Então eu prefiro comprar os tokens para negociar quando entram nas EXCHANGES. Mas existem EXCHANGES como a HitBTC que negocia ICOs em mercados futuros, ai você compra o token antes do lançamento oficial e pode negociar dentro da própria EXCHANGE, isso eu já fiz por lá. Mas só pode transferir o TOKEN depois que acontece o lançamento oficial, antes disso o TOKEN é dummy dentro da EXCHANGE, sem garantia, mas você pode negociar e ter lucro. |

Lets say if someone were to come along and buy a bunch of Funk, should that person download and store the coins in the wallet or just leave in on the exchange?  I would consider that person a hero, since the LTC/DOGE markets on Cryptopia have been closed for a week already Well, you can always negotiate with someone who owns the coin and buy direct from him, without the need of Exchage!!! |

The original FUNK blockchain will not cease to exist after the launch of the ETH token. There will however be an exchange cap at 50 Billion FUNK. This means that only 50 Billion FUNK supply will be able to be burned, and any new supply beyond the 50 Billion FUNK mined will not be able to be burned.

Will the original FUNK die after the TOKEN is alive? Or there will be the original coin and the token by then? Or some will run the orignal FUNK chain!!! While many guys go and change their coin by ETH TOKEN??? History Bites!!!! Or will it happen like it was with MobileGO? People change their GAME by MGO, then MGO dump and GAME pump!!!!! Se está tendo lucro continua e vê até onde você consegue ir. A moeda acabou se levar um bom PUMP. Se você entrou antes, então consegue segurar uma queda e ver se continua a alta. Mas entrar agora é super arriscado. Não entro em moeda que acabou de levar pump acima de 100 %. |

@Soundposition have you also been in contact with Cryptopia regarding the swap? Will they list the new token and cooperate?
The new token will be listed on larger exchanges like Bittrex and Poloniex on the standard basemarkets (BTC/ETH etc.) not LTC markets like FUNK. Im very glad to see the fiery discussion here!!! That shows that there is indeed something great to come (I guess it would pump the coin if LTC/DOGE market were open at Cryptopia) !!!! Let FUNK rock this year!!!! |
