RIP John McAfee.
If he got Epsteined, does he really have any very valuable intel to be epsteined as well?
Didn't McAfee also claimed that he uncovered who the real Satoshi N. is as well?
Anyways, we'll never really know the real story why he was epsteined anyways....
RIP.

Tencent joins forces with ShareRing to launch blockchain digital ID platformhttps://cointelegraph.com/news/tencent-joins-forces-with-sharering-to-launch-blockchain-digital-id-platformChinese conglomerate Tencent Holdings is joining forces with blockchain company ShareRing to launch a new digital identification system to streamline international travel amid the COVID-19 pandemic. As the South China Morning Post reported Tuesday, ShareRing will combine its distributed ledger technology with Tencent’s cloud services to create a blockchain-based digital identity management platform. Specifically, ShareRing will use Tencent Cloud’s optical character recognition and facial recognition technology to help improve its “self-sovereign identity app.” In its current form, the app can be used to book flights, hotel reservations, car rentals and a variety of other services. In a joint statement, Tencent and ShareRing said the aim of this partnership is to help Southeast Asian countries “reopen their borders to tourism and recover from the economic blow” of COVID-19.

Hi all, I recently started working on an educational game that informs the player about some of the important concepts about bitcoin and am looking for some feedback. The target player is not an engineer or an economist, but a person on the street that still believes fiat is good and that we are fine with money controlled by the state. The game is designed as a series of conversations between two people, one asks questions and the other responds. The responses almost always include a mini game where the player solves a simple task to understand the concept. For example, the first game is a simple "scratch the screen" game to reveal the bitcoin emission schedule. Here's a list topics for which I am currently developing mini games: - Inflation hedge. Digital Gold.
- How to pay using Bitcoin. No need for Credit Cards or banks.
- How payments work - mining intro.
- Double spending is almost impossible.
- Censorship resistance.
- Fleeing a war zone with bitcoin.
- Keeping it safe. Secret sharing.
- Purity of bitcoin vis a vis gold purity tests.
- Address the fear of losing coins.
- Anonymity and privacy.
- No banks or state or single miner or developer regulates Bitcoin. Essentially, "no one" regulates Bitcoin.
Would love to get any input on the list if topics. Is there something I am missing as the first introduction to someone new to bitcoin? Is there something I should take out? Thanks in advance for any thoughts. Design the game similar to how Cashflow 101 game is played to make it interactive and fun and also they should be forced to think on how they view money. To add: 1. How the government keeps increasing fiat currency (inflation) vs how bitcoin is fixed supply (deflationary). How savings in fiat or value of savings in fiat is being robbed in plain sight. 2. Why no one can stop a bitcoin transaction (censorship resistance) 3. Why bitcoin is "unhackable" - e.g. will take 33 decillion years to crack a btc wallet with value using an existing ultra-super-mega computer. 4. Why bitcoin is better than gold in terms of portability (imagine carrying $100,000,000 in gold and paying someone with it haha)

Spot on! What Vitalik said is the simplest way to prove that whomever is claiming to be Satoshi, just needs to send a signed transaction from one of the old addresses that can be traced backed to the genesis block. Showing it to just a few people won't cut it.

13401-13450 I'm taking this available slot. Not into TA but I think there's still room for crypto to reach new heights. 2020 halving event could be the start.

It's actually the gambling addition of your brother that brought ruin to your family. Whether precious metal, property or any other currency is used or pawned for gambling, it doesn't matter. The house always wins in the end.
Cryptocurrency actually opened a lot of possibilities for some of us here in the crypto space. Some are able to afford more which were impossible to earn thru conventional means (usual work). Our journey and experiences in crypto will differ, but in the end, it's all about how one manages the assets and time given to each of us.
OP, I hope you'll be able to use crypto as a means to help your family and not blindly shut your eyes from the opportunity that it can give you.
I see there are gambling veterans here who have mastery in the gambling arts. BUT if you belong to the 80% of the population who do not know how to gamble, don't gamble...

If you truly believe that bitcoin is the future, buy the dip with fiat that you can spare to not use in the next 3-5 years (even longer). Better to have some btc as it's historically appreciating vs fiat. And it's really portable, no one can seize your bitcoin and you can send something of value anytime anywhere as long as you have an internet connection.

This is very cool. An old school buy and sell of crypto asset via ebay.
It's good to see that there are still honest buyers and sellers out there.
I recently concluded my very first peer to peer trade myself (with no escrow). I advertised in a Telegram group if there's anyone interested. I gave the opportunity to the first one who contacted me. We discussed the price then buyer got convinced that I ain't a scammer, sent me eth I needed, then I sent the eth token he wanted.
It felt good as trades like these somehow restores your faith in humanity - a complete trade between buyer and seller located halfway around the globe that is anonymous and peer to peer. Discussion, Agreement, Delivery and Settlement all completed in a few hours.

Goodbye year 19! New beginnings and halving! Lucky on year 20!
$14,775.75
That would be 77.7% increase from today's price.

Have you ever sold your BTC at low rate and it later bumped and you were regretting...?
Always happens to me. I've also learned to accept the fact the I can never really time the market. When I need to convert BTC or any crypto to fiat. My immediate need will always far outweigh hodling any crypto. Your CURRENT needs, especially if they are necessities, far outweigh any future value of any asset. This is actually the reverse of what happened last 2018. Everyone is saying that I should have sold last Jan 2018. So, just buy when you want to buy, then sell when you need to sell. I accepted the fact that I can't time the market so that I won't have any regrets.

Bitconnect is a game changer in the crypto space... In it's own way... Sadly, as one of the biggest scams in crypto history.
I'm sure there will be more scams coming as the crypto adoption accelerates. The more people joining the crypto space, the more newbies will be scammed as well...
Sad but this is the reality that we have to face. Let's all be vigilant.
