Technical Analysis of a FeatureWhat is PoW?All cryptocurrencies are at risk of spam transactions where someone sends a large number of small transactions which clog up the network. As RaiBlocks has no fees and is fast it would be particularly at risk to spam attacks and so every transaction requires Proof of Work, a small calculation is performed to send or receive a transaction. Therefore if you try to send lots of transactions it will take up CPU time. This works well but does provide a challenge to bigger services such as exchanges or online wallets - this can be overcome with more cpu power, using a GPU for accelerated calculations or in the future off loading the work to another service. I would love to address these questions. My name is Adam Howell (AKA dopey) and I am the creator of DopeCoin. Cannabiscoin turned out to be one of the biggest crypto scams ever and netted the founder a tremendous amount of coin before he disappeared from the scene and never returned. I'm not sure if you are aware of this but he pretended to have a bunch of relationships with dispensaries and was later caught lying about virtually everything. The founder of this coin has not poked his head out in well over a year. Potcoin has not even answered their public thread for over 2 months and was caught placing a sticker on the Bitcoin Embassy in Montreal after hours on camera and then announcing that they had established a partnership. They were later forced to publicly apologize and admit their sins because of strong legal repercussions threatened from the Bitcoin Embassy. Additionally, they paid for Dennis Rodman to go to North Korea in a failed publicity stunt in order to manipulate the valuation of their currency. There has been no real development or actual innovation coming from either of these projects and what is even worse is that they seem to of abandoned their mission and instead work on spiking valuations in order to profit off of unsuspecting investors. DopeCoin, on the other hand, has gone from a 40k market cap to 2.5 million in the last 6 months while spiking into the 5 million dollar territory on 2 occasions. We are constantly innovating, extremely active and many of our supporters have profited tremendously as a result. Our current mission, which was proposed in January of this year, is to launch a self-serve advertising platform that will allow marijuana related businesses an opportunity to promote their products to appropriate audiences within the industry. Currently, they are not allowed to advertise any sort of drug related products on traditional advertising platforms such as Adwords and Facebook because of the terms and conditions associated with this type of product. OK. I do like the concept, and you guys seem qualified to produce this project. But am I the only one to say... WTF is 'Pokens'  Comon, can we come up with a better name? I'll even give a few ideas. 'Polos' 'Popul' 'Popos' The name Poken is derived from the nature of the pegged token and a combination of the word Populous and token. We found the name appropriate at the time and have decided to stick with it. Thanks for the over suggestions. So is a "Poken" the same as a "PPT"? Or are they different things? Eg. if Poken=PPT, and a poken is supposed to be pegged to GBP or USD, why would investors be interested (in a stable currency)? Apologies if this has already been covered, it just wasn't clear from the initial post. |

Within 3-6 months a coin «Attraction» (ATT) will be created.
This coin is created as a payment instrument for an Internet Mall. At the moment, work is under way to adapt the source code of the shopping center. This is a serious project from the Eternity Group with investments of several hundred thousand dollars.

Any idea when masternodes are coming out?
Master Nodes are out on the current wallet but I think AMS is going to be doing a coin swap to a new block chain. Can we get a confirmation of a swap or any update there as well? I want to get my wallet syncing and be prepared to move them on an exchange when necessary. |
