2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 01, 2020, 01:29:01 PM
I believe we have a lot of gamblers in the forum who loves Philippines Basketball particularly PBA, that's why I'm bringing this outside the local.

Let's discuss the current events, news, and the games here. You may also share you bets here if you want to help fellow gamblers to win or ask some opinion from our fellow gamblers here.

The PBA has a short conference only but they also have short break, so if we are betting often in this games, we can easily familiarize the teams since there are only few teams compared to the NBA.

Hopefully we can make a good and helpful discussion in this thread.
Its good to allow betting in PBA in that case other people will be interested to watch because these day PBA they just watch their favourite teams and if the betting will be international its good and other poeple will have interest to watch other teams

5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should there be any age limit of Gambling? on: July 31, 2020, 01:41:57 PM
Since we were kids we used to make bets , as for me even a small Race or a big project meant a bet between friends, then as I grew up, I realized that it's more of a Sports .

At the same time unfortunately the country I belong to does have a strong ban on Gambling , STILL , I see old Grandpas , Dad's , uncle's playing Poker outside with an amazing set-up.

Crypto Gambling is a whole new level , there are so many games , it have revolutionised the gambling industry in a whole different way , This provides Privacy and Variation that is much needed.

It's much safer and at the same time I do think there are amazing offers out there even for first time customers and the referrals , this is the new era.

There is one important question we have to ask:

What age does categorize a person to be mature enough to Gamble ?

-18?
-21?

Does the age even hold a meaning? Should it be regulated ? Since Crypto gambling sites have to be super private and therefore regulating the age is a big factor.

Should steps be taken to take care that we don't being up a generation of addictive gamblers or it's all good ?

[Something fun I want to share: My Private Tutor who was supposed to teach me and 10 other kids , used to have a small illegal business of Gambling on Sports and every Match was betting time , parents apparently did not know anything about it 😂] <Is the ban even necessary, people will still do what they want to do>
I guess the right age is 21 to gamble because they're more matured but it dosn't make sense because its easy to other youngsters to enter in any sites however its too dangerous to others for being addictive of doing it and its so easy for 18 below to enter gambling in sites because of verification they just tell that they're 18 and tadah they are allowed to open any sites so maybe make it hard about the security.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many altcoins are actually worth something? on: December 25, 2018, 09:30:18 PM
Only Ethereum and Ripple are worth hodling. Other coins are just trash for me since they can die anytime and the sad thing is that their development team already stopped improving their coin. Unlike the two I have mentioned, they are established and proven that they can recover and pump up anytime.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum lowest price on: December 25, 2018, 09:28:08 PM
The only reason is simple, a lot of investors dumped their coin. For some unknown reason, they just happen to gave up on their coin which is very uncharacteristic of them as they've been patient through out the years. Maybe they reached their limit and chose to let go and end their suffering.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which crypto should I buy now on: December 25, 2018, 01:44:38 AM
Focus on top tier coins. I would suggest top 10 coins but make sure that you know what you were trying to be invested on. Top 5 coins are good for long term hodl and if you are into short term hodl, you should consider Ethereum. The price is at its lowest and its a coin everyone should have as it can recover anytime. Use diversification on your trading but make sure to buy quality coins. Avoid coins at the lower ranking, they can die anytime.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to buy! on: December 24, 2018, 09:34:12 PM
Going back to this post, it proves us that the price can still go down even if we thought that its at its lowest. Same thing can happen on Ethereum and I would like to warn everyone to be very careful and make sure that you have a backup plan in case that everything goes bad. It is very important things even if we are certain that the plan is settled.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: No bull run this year?! For real? on: December 24, 2018, 09:19:49 PM
Yes. I think so. What else do we expect? The price is just too low for it to suddenly go up for a bull run. It will be an unrealistic price pump if it ever happened. Also, the main coins are just not that recovering that fast so it is impossible for a bull run to happen. Maybe 2019 has a better plan for us. Let's just wait for it.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to use Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2018, 02:18:06 AM
Its funny how they project the message on the image above but I think that is the reality. NO one wants to buy bitcoin especially if you don't have any knowledge on what it is. I think bitcoin should do a better job of spreading the knowledge about their product. This task is one of the hardest thing to do considering the fact that the people nowadays are super aware of what's happening and they are so defensive about everything.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to check bounty legit or scam?? on: December 20, 2018, 11:58:22 PM
For me there is no legit way to determine if a bounty is a scam. Almost all of the bounty hunters experience being scammed and even the most tenured people on this forum were scammed as well. I hate to say this but ICO's has already mastered their art and they will keep on doing it since no one is being punished. That is why I prefer quantity over quality, the more bounties I joined, the more chances of finding a legit ICO.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lessons from crypto in 2018 on: December 20, 2018, 11:54:46 PM
The learn I learn is not to use the money I can't afford to lose on trading. What happened is that I use the money that is for my basic needs and taken risk. I lost the ability to hodl and forced to sell at a very low price because I need the money badly. I assumed that the market will recover after a sudden decrease and I was forced to sell my other coins as well.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is here on: December 20, 2018, 11:47:18 PM
Hopefully this is is the bullrun that everyone is waiting. Its been so long and we have suffered enough. I think everyone deserves this price increase and I will not blame them if they chose to sell their coin. I still prefer to hodl though as 12% increase is still not enough to cover for the losses from the last Nosedive. This is a good Christmas Gift and even better if the recovery continues.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 40$ in 1-2 weeks on: December 18, 2018, 03:02:45 AM
It will be sad if it happened. Ethereum is a top tier coin that has been valuable for years. Seeing it go down this low makes me feel that the life on crypto is also diminishing. ICO scams are every where and the platform itself is too low in terms of value. I just hope that the market will recover stronger than ever. If it takes a while to recover, I don't think a lot of people will remain patient.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL for only the brave !? on: December 15, 2018, 01:17:54 AM
I agree. IF you are not BRAVE enough, don't settle for a long term hodl, stop it before buying coins that was meant for long term hodl. You should settle for short term trade the first time you bought a coin. Also, I will not recommend it for people who doesn't have that much capital and relying on their capital for daily needs. It will just add more pressure on deciding when to sell or hodl.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: December 15, 2018, 12:25:58 AM
I would say different. I want you to regret your decision so that you won't do the same mistake again. There is always something to improve every time we made the wrong decision. Investment on crypto is also the same. Learn from your mistake and make sure that you will do better next time. Regret can turn positive if we think that way rather than going with the flow without any concrete basis. Happy investor. Cool
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next month early January 2019. on: December 15, 2018, 12:12:41 AM
I have already invested on some alternate coins and I am ready for next year. I just hope that there will be at least a slight recovery in terms of price. A lot of people will lost their confidence on crypto if the market doesn't recover that well by 2019. We don't need to be a genius to understand how frustrating it is to wait for something that is never gonna happen. Hopefully, things will change next year.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: please recommend some Altcoins on: December 15, 2018, 12:03:59 AM
I can only recommend the coins that I was hodling. That will be XRP, Cardano and Ethereum. I bought Ethereum below $100 USD and I am aiming for short term trade. For XRP and Cardano, I am planning to hodl it until their price pump. It still depend on how my Ethereum coins goes. If it goes well, I can hold the other coins for a year (best case scenario). Hopefully things will work well by 2019.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: best exchange for traders on: December 14, 2018, 11:55:30 PM
I've only used a few of them and so far I haven't gotten any problems with any of the following exchanges : Hitbtc, Yobit, IDEX and Kucoin. The cases reported on the exchanges is on 1:10000 ratio and we should not think that the same thing will happen to us. We should be cautious but we shouldn't be afraid to try different exchanges. Reported incidents are like rare disease, it will only happen to a few people not to all of us.
