I have four machines that I set up with pools.  None of my computers get great hashrates, but I do get small amounts with all of them.  My lowest powered machines mine Feathercoins and Litecoins.

I started mining Litecoin on my laptop, while our two computers with decent GPUs mine BTC.  I also bought a little on BTC-e with a small amount of Bitcoin.  Figured that I might as well diversify.  I now wish that I would have gotten involved in BTC a couple of years ago when I first heard about it; don't really want to make the same mistake twice.

I should have joined this place when I first learned about Bitcoins... now that I've been mining them for a couple of weeks and have backed up a wallet, I have to think of five things to post here.  If I had known about the newbie restrictions a while back, I would have registered and posted my many questions (which I already found out the answers to) here...

I use Blockchain backed up with MultiBit.  I like that program because I sold my kid's savings bonds and put it into Bitcoin, so I can keep their wallets in the program, along with mine.
