101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee will not promote ICO anymore on: July 10, 2018, 10:40:52 AM
personally, I think if He just made it for his security no more, no less and it is true that SEC threats are doing their things from him.
He's earned a million dollars with the ICO promotion he's done so far. So let's wait for what's going on next.

It is true, nobody having enough money would risk his reputation or getting in troubles with SEC from promotion. But I think such people would be also interested in market, so let's wait what he will do next.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it? on: July 10, 2018, 10:38:31 AM
I would spend sleepless nights only for not a long project but yet too promising not to participate in it. But in a long run nobody could survive working so hard, and it doesn't help them to become crypto millionaires
103  Other / Archival / Re: ICO without whitepaper on: July 10, 2018, 10:36:38 AM
Any project launching an ICO should at least have a professional whitepaper, a detailed roadmap, an overview of the team with profiles and a disclosure of how the funds raised will be used for transparency

A working product in alpha or beta stage is even better
I agree with you, as the project without whitepaper and roadmap is like people from lottery promising that you will win for sure, as such project is not developing anything. I would never invest in it.
104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think the price of BTC will drop to 4000 dollars? on: July 10, 2018, 10:34:05 AM
I do not consider of such a big decrease of bitcoin price, as it will influence the market a lot, while big players and wallets are not interested in this situation, but some price sales always happen due to the volatile nature of crypto.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 10, 2018, 10:32:13 AM
Well, it is a higher risk/higher reward game when investing in altcoins. Bitcoin doesn't fluctuate as much as altcoins so it is a better store of value, but at the same time, you can achieve much higher gains if you pick the right alt to invest in.
To add-on, such coins as bitcoin and etherium are like index (e.g. S&P 500 index). Investing in them, you are for sure to get the profit, but you can earn more on investing in promising alts with  higher lag to grow in the future.
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: July 10, 2018, 10:30:03 AM
I suppose that self education is the key for this market. Then you need to start collecting money you could invest, start from top 10 coins and join some bounty campaign to learn what is it all about.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why hold ethereum on: July 10, 2018, 10:28:16 AM
The good point to make an investment is to build a diversified portfolio with risk free assets. For me such assets are etherium and bitcoin, as they are always growing and can be used as the market index.
108  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: July 10, 2018, 10:25:54 AM
Why people invest in ICO when it is risky and these days most of the coins are dropping. Do you think ICOs are going to survive for a long time?

ICO will only survive if SEC will make laws for its regulation because now it is indeed a huge risk to invest in it, some coins even can dump to 99% of it ICO price ). I personally prefer ICO EOT (EON Protocol for dgames), I think such a project has broad perspectives in the gaming industry in future.
Most of laws and regulations mean strict risk management and obligations for projects, which means more big players and less profits for private investors. I agree that we need regulations, but even without them it is worth to invest in.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mid-year, buy or sell ? on: July 10, 2018, 10:23:04 AM
It is a common tendency for many markets to cash out during the summertime, as investment activity is getting lower at such days. I suppose you need to do on contrary, as the market for sure will begin to grow starting from September.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good amount to invest? on: July 10, 2018, 10:20:53 AM
I suppose the best is just start to invest, even from 50 backs. You will not lose investment opportunities and get more money, and at the same time learn how to invest. Wink
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tezos: A Self-Amending Crypto-Ledger on: July 10, 2018, 10:19:02 AM
Don't dream, lol.

He's not If you ask me. Tezos could easily surpass Ethereum and most of the altcoins If they ever manage to deliver what's on the whitepaper. It's still in its early stages though so this will take some time.
I can't imagine a project with such start being able to surpass Ethertium. To be on top, you need not only good project, but also the community confidence. So no way they will get there in the nearest future.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the most stable altcoin? on: July 10, 2018, 10:16:26 AM
I suppose that coins from top 10 with maturity of more than one year would be the most stable on the market - you need to look at the market capitalization and community confidence.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this the time for a comeback for crypto? on: July 10, 2018, 10:13:11 AM
Everything has its cycles, and all the markets, even crypto depend on the real world's events and news. This year has been rather hard for most of the markets, and today we see the slight recovery of economics.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market will recover? on: July 08, 2018, 02:13:18 PM
The cryptocurrency market is a way new market with new rules. But as we know, most financial markets have their cycles, and these days the market shows us green color, we just need to be patiently watching its recovery.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: this is Bull trap on: July 03, 2018, 12:45:46 PM
I suppose it is a new market with new rules for it. IMHO today many big players try to manipulate it, so it is hard to be sure if we see a bull trap today or the bears can still win. We just need to be careful.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you listen to analytics? on: July 03, 2018, 12:42:29 PM
Analytics can always tell you about the current trends, as well about something new on the market. But I always remember that everybody tries to manipulate community in order to get his profit, you need to be careful.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is still legit? on: July 03, 2018, 12:39:11 PM
To trust in ICO, you need to study the project, its roadmap and the team - will they be able to follow the roadmap? The marketing budget can also show you if the team know what they do.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tips to become millionaires not over night on: July 03, 2018, 12:37:21 PM
Such information is always useful, but I think to become a millionaire you should always invest a reasonable amount of money, which you need to gain first.  Wink
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to buy? on: July 03, 2018, 12:35:14 PM
Now the prices are low, so they are rather attractive for investments. But it is not obvious, when the marker will return to green for sure, and it is hard to predict when you will be able to get your profits.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bloody Markets on: July 03, 2018, 12:32:32 PM
The financial institutions have been showing the strong interest to the market for the past few years and even making common projects, so it is not a big surprise they could manipulate the market.
