1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FREEWallet.org SCAM ( Don't use any of their iOS or Android APP) on: September 10, 2017, 08:57:30 PM
Found this on Reddit. No idea if this is the correct category but apparently FreeWallet.org is redirecting everyone's payments to their own personal wallet.

https://etherscan.io/address/0x11b85b4e2fadaebe04a251377aa35b9be3c785f0

So far $8 million stolen.

They also have a Bitcoin, Dash and Monero wallet. Their website seems to be professionally done so it seems many people are affected. If you use this wallet, immediately withdraw any funds.

I have used FreeWallet for a little while now. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I have deposited and withdrew a couple of times. Although I only use it for ltc. Maybe they store everything in a central wallet to prevent losses? Not sure, it just doesn't seem like they would steal from everyone as they appear to be professional.

Of course you are going to ignore me.
None of you want anything to do with defining anything.
Anything goes.. all long as it make me *BITCOIN* profits right ?
HOW they work or WHAT it actually is.. is of no concern.
You all simply sit on your ass think of a gimmick to tack onto an ICO coin template.
Then parade around "innovation" with your thousands and thousands white papers and road maps.

You make me sick.
This shit is far beyond a joke.. it's fucking criminal.

Ok, I know I'm taking the bait here, but I don't think anyone is responding to you because of your reputation. You seem to be a troll as well.

I am reminding you the only people here are noob accounts.
Most of which are puppet accounts by frauds.
SO blow me asshole.

"Trust: -8: -3 / +0
Warning: Trade with extreme caution!"

That is what is says under your name, and your telling me not to trust others.

You are an idiot.

I am deemed a "troll" for pointing out the truth.
..to scammy noobs piling who continue to lower the bar.
THAT is why they do not reply back to me.

Let me get this straight shithead..
I am TELLING you.. you are scammy idiots.
I am not asking.
I don't need your reply back.

You are dumb fuck greedy scammy immoral noobs who pile in here with no concern over ideology.
You continue to make crypto worse over all and i am here reminding you.. not debating it with you.

Further more i couldn't care less what you dipshit Investard noobs think of me.
I don't like you.
I wish you would leave.. so no i don't care about your stupid little opinions on ICO's etc.

The "silence" is because.... i am right !

About what ?
Well, this ICO craze has played out EXACTLY like the SCRYPT coin cloning craze and popularity explosion back in late 2013.
Only difference is it's ICO's now..
I already went through this.
I already heard all the stupid little scam coin / greed defense retorts.
I heard it all.
And i shot them all down relentlessly.. hence the negative rating.

Like really ? I got a neg for being a pedophile and a welfare bum ? REALLY ?
And you dipshits believe that ?
You really are fucking dumb LOL
Is it not blatantly obvious the trust system is abused ?
Anyone can post anything.
And surprise.. the guy who bashes garbage scams coin the most has a "couple" neg's.
Is that really surprising ?
Gimme a break NOOB.

Noobs, you can shut the fuck up.
You are idiots and know nothing about crypto.. nor do you care.
You all spout off idiotic scammy crap.
You are fucking NOOBS.
And in what scene on the web do NOOBS get any respect or clout ?
Nowhere !
Yet you Investards think you can create an account and run your mouth at me ?
Blow me.
Shut the fuck up.
You know NOTHING.
Period.

I am not trying to scam people. I simply had an idea for a coin and wanted to discuss it and get others opinions. Quit running your mouth and go ruin someone elses thread. Matter of fact, why don't you go make your own thread and complain on there, or go bother the people that are really trying to scam people. If I was really just trying to make a quick buck off of this would you really think I would bring my idea here. No, I wouldn't. This is exactly what I would have done, I would have made the coin, premined the shit out of it, then I would have advertised it.

Also about the trust system, I have no idea how it works because like I said in the initial post, I am new here. So I just went by what it said. If you want people to take you seriously, maybe you shouldn't be so hostile.

Further, like I have already said, I am new to all of this, no clue how any of this works. I just had an idea and wanted to talk about it, nothing more. So, please stop accusing me of trying to scam people.

I say: "why not". If you feel strongly enough that you have a good idea, whether it is original or not is irrelevant. There are countless reasons not to do something, but you only need one reason to do it. Take some time to build your knowledge then go for it. In general, I'd recommend forking your coin from one of the existing big ones rather than creating a token, but for what you've mentioned, maybe a token is 'good enough' for an intermediary coin. The advice to join another coin or two or three to learn from them is not a terrible idea either Smiley

Ya like the idea you and some others said. Join and help out an existing coin before making my own. To learn ropes. But how would I go about doing that?

Hey all. I'm pretty knew to the bitcointalk scene, so please point me in the right direction if I'm in the wrong place.

I have a new coin idea, and I want to talk about it here, because I'm assuming there is at least someone here that knows what they are talking about.

Anyways, My coin idea is making a coin for faucet owners to give out as payment and then the users trade in that coin for the coin of their choice at exchange sites. I did a bit of research on coins like this and I found DropCoin, I think that's the official name. I didn't see much activity from them in awhile so I'm assuming the coin died. I guess the whole point of this post is to find out if there is already a coin like this that is still living, or if there is one in the works. If there isn't one now I'm sure someone will make one faster than I can after posting this.

Also I would to like to talk about what to do and what not to do when trying to make a coin. As this is the first coin I am attempting to make, I am very inexperienced. Also I am not the best coder, so what coin would be best to attempt to fork for a coin like the one I am trying to make?

I realize that it seems like I am asking for a lot of handouts, but I don't want to just push out a new coin and it fails like thousands of others. If I am asking for too much, please don't respond. I will get the point. It would most likely be better for me in the long run to research all of this my self, but I would like others' opinions too.
New coins are dead, ICO's are dead, exchanges will not list your new coin. You can however pick one of the 800 coins and join the team. Again, here is no need for any new shitcoin, help an existing project instead is best. 😗

But what if it was an entirely new coin with an entirely knew idea? I think it might then gain some traction. Not saying my idea is totally original, because I'm sure it's not.

I don't this it's a very good idea. When people use faucets, it's because they want to get some coin which already has some value. Nobody want some intermediary yet-another-random-altcoin between them and the faucet.
IMHO, people just wouldn't use faucets which would be paying in your coins.

Ya that is true. I was thinking, say someone wants litecoin and bitcoin, but they don't want to keep track of and use numerous faucets. They could use the few faucets that pay in my coin, and then the users could trade out my coin for the coin that they choose from the faucet site, or just get a payout and exchange it on trading sites. In my mind it would create more freedom for the user and could possibly bring more attention to the faucet.

Trust me your all gonna be rich

Altcoins!

Well I wasn't necessarily trying to make a money making scheme. I just thought it would be cool coin to make.

stop wasting time read the news- ico's era are over
I dont think It's a good idea without PR-team, tons of money on marketing and experienced project team. It is literally impossible for one person to bring out the new token, if you're not Satoshi Nakamoto, hehe

Thanks for the words of encouragement guys. lol
