61  Economy / Lending / Re: Worth a shot. 0.50 BTC loan requested. on: June 28, 2013, 07:58:41 AM
As worthless as it may be, I have my old WoW account to use as collateral, If need be.

On the account is 75,000 gold and multiple level 85-90 characters, It's also linked to my Starcraft 2 account, Starcraft Anthology downloaded games and Diablo III account.

I know WoW accounts are random collateral, But it's something.

Most info on the situation here:

https://btcjam.com/listings/5605

TLDR: A foolish me got scammed on a Paypal purchase.
Shouldn't have done it, very unwise, don't know what got into me. But cash deposits from Canada get more and more lame each day, I took the short cut trying to avoid my 1-3 business day processing time setting my deposit into next week sometime.

Any help is appreciated.
If possible or reasonable and it makes you more comfortable I can offer up whatever information or whatever other requests you may have.

I know there are still good people out there, But I was silly to think I had found one so easily.

Thanks for reading,

Are you able to add any more ID to your BTCJam profile? I'd fund 1% of this, just to get it started - you don't seem like a scammer.

NVM: Going to put a little in anyway.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate that.

Yesterday I sent in the required documents for my government ID and my address to be confirmed. It says on the page now "Being Verified", I'm hoping that they go through today and bump the rating up just a little more.

I really have no intention to scam anyone, Just need a chance to get started.

Thanks again!
63  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explaining Bitcoin to a non-believer on: June 28, 2013, 07:45:44 AM
Most of my friends who I've told about bitcoin constantly spend most of their time regretting not listening I've found.

Now I just open with "Not buying at least 5 of these might be the biggest mistake you'll ever make".
64  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Some xBox and Ps3 Games. Escrow on: June 28, 2013, 07:26:27 AM
Lots of spring cleaning has made many things need to go, I'd much rather see some of these things bring in some Bitcoin rather than bring them to EB Games and not be pleased with the results.

Everything is in perfect working order, Pics available(Will upload soon) - Some stuff only played once or twice.

Escrow service of some sort prefered, We can work out those details if necessary.

Everything priced in USD of Bitcoin +Shipping, Unless you happen to be very close by.

Not a whole lot, But it has to go!

Ps3:

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Extra copy that I had which has been taken out and put back into the box a total of twice - $15
Batman: Arkham City - $10
Call of Duty: Black Ops - $10

Nintendo Wii:

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword - $20

xBox 360:

Gears of War 2 - $5
Soul Calibur IV - $9
Rockband II - $5

Even Older:

N64:

Mariokart 64 - $20
Starwars Podracer - $10
Gauntlet Legends(How can you NOT buy this?!) - $15

I also have one of the smaller Ps1 systems from way back with a Mod Chip in it to play burned off games which was all the craze way back when(Jesus I feel old). Everything still works fine, all the hookups and necessary things to get going, If anybody may be on the look out for one of those.

With the games going I'd also part ways with my xBox for BTC, But it isn't a pretty slim one. I think this one was my 4th one and only one that never Red Ringed, haha.

I guess that's about it.

If you happen to need anything, PM me or msg, Im sure we can work something out. All prices are negotiable.

Cheers!

Post the scammers name in the title heading, you can do this by editing the OP. Traders do a quick walkthrough here of the names in the title, they dont read every post. No one will see that the oliver dude scammed unless u put his name in the title.

Done, Cheers!

He did post in the thread, I requested he do that, but really looking back its not as if that offers much. He Deleted it soon after disappearing for 20 minutes then coming back.

Anybody have any advise on what may be best to say if I have to Reverse this Payment due to being possibly scammed?

Still giving the benefit of the doubt, But want to cover all bases. Thanks in advance.

I know, I know, Low post counting asking for Paypal sale =(

However, This is currently my only available money for this as every bank for Cavirtex has now been shut down with Cash deposits and now require 3 business day randomness.

Paypal account is verified, I can supply a phone number so we could talk or anything else that makes the seller comfortable.
No reversal, I do not want such negative transactions to reflect poorly upon the Bitcoin community. This would also be a positive transaction to have under my belt.

All I can do is ask.

Exact balance to spend is $56, we can work out whatever is best.  Willing to Escrow or provide more information, if necessary.

With the way Canadian banks seem to be treating cash deposits it would be great to build a trust will an ongoing seller, if possible, as it may turn out to be my only method for quick purchases when they are necessary

PM me, we can chat.

Thanks for reading,

Cheers

People are still waiting for that boat to sail.
