Hello senseless,
what kind of cooling will these cards with mods have? Single fan, dual fan or watercooled?

The dev is long gone. Here's a real project depicted in our WP: http://yutu.co.in/wp-content/uploads/YuTuCoin-White-Paper.pdf (see sig if you wanna invest while pricing is at its cheapest).

just to share an update on m side
after filling an police report in my home country Slovakia back on 4th July 2018
my local police has just denied my claim to be a victim of a crime in writing today 17th Aug 2018
by saying they/police do not see a intention on dwarfminer side to steal the money from myself
my police also advise me to file a civil case in a court against dwarfminer
+ my police wont be any help as they see this as civil, not a penal case at the moment so far
all I wanted from local police is help to confirm the identity of the dwarfminer e-wallet account 001-522142 from epayments.com
by contacting local police -> interpol -> UK police -> epayments

I have also contacted epayments.com directly to disclose the identity of e-wallet account 001-522142
my request was denied due to GDPR protection of their clients /even if 1 of them is our scammer/

so my trust of local police in Slovakia & epayments is now 0

there are still 4 things I need to to ask our community
1) did anybody else filled a complaint or a report to police or local authorities ?
2) did somebody's case reach the Interpol level ?
3) if I can be of any help in your report, just ping me via direct message here or on discord
4) if there is another scam victim in Slovakia, please ping me, maybe together we can persuade Slovak police to look at the case again

and yes I was stupid enough to send the dwarfminer scammer in total 1819e via 2 SEPA bank transfers
so the bigger the damage, the bigger chance that police/Interpol will take a real action

Hmm,

Maybe I should report this to the police as well, I havent bothered yet as I havent seen a point in doing so. But it might be needed to document the money as lost in the accounting.
I wasted about ~0,7 BTC on this Tongue

Seems like you have done some work already, want to share? Cheesy

my police report is in Slovak language, so it won't be much of help here on forum
+ as attachments I provided my police in english with
      primary suspect data weblinks
copy of my mail conversation with epayments.com
copy of my confirmed mail Dwarfminer orders #014117 & #01420
      copy of 2 SEPA wire-transfers

product: https://archive.fo/67AYs

primary suspect: Dmitriy Palehov
https://twitter.com/DymarAnkov
http://archive.is/7AHHz
https://www.facebook.com/dymar.ankov
http://archive.is/AkEHp
https://www.linkedin.com/in/dmitriy-palehov-60176a163/
so far the scammer seems to be from Russia or Ukraine

the problem is to prove
the link between epayments e-wallet owner 001-522142 & primary suspect person
the link between BTC/ETH/XMR crypto scammer address & primary suspect person
thx to skablast
owner of the paypal scammer address is Палехов Дмитрий (Ryangunning@bigpond.com)

epayments.com in UK did not disclose the account data to 3rd party /myself/ due to GDPR protection
Slovak police will not help here either, claiming is it a civil matter, & I was only not delivered the goods promised by Dwarminer
as a result I am stuck, as I don't have data from epayments.com, who is the real owner of 001-522142 to even prepare a basic complaint
with correct dwarfminer identity
the only 1 thing I was able to dig out by using password recovery procedure for epayments.com e-wallet 001-522142
was the scammer russian tel nr. +798575********

my hope goes to you folks
if anybody else file a police report he might get more lucky than me in Slovakia
the best would be in UK, Russia or Ukraine  Wink
& you can mentioned myself as another victim of dwarfminer scam in your police report
+ it wont be a problem to testify over the phone for me in English or physically in Bratislava or Vienna

I had two cases with local Slovak police, and they are lazy as fuck. They will persuade you not going into anything just because they would have to do something and also they don't want to have higher crime statistics... I would talk to the lawyer first and then everything else. Btw. I have a lawyer in Ukraine, pm me if you want a contact.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Bitmain is disclosing it's hashrate on: July 30, 2018, 03:02:22 PM
I've just read that Bitmain started to disclose it's hashrate. Here's the link: https://blog.bitmain.com/en/hashrate-disclosure/
What left me suprised was bitcoin hashrate, where they have 1692.05 PH/s... that's like 120000 of S9!! Just crazy. I wonder if those are new tech or old S9s.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Hive OS - new Linux GPU mining platform on: July 28, 2018, 08:33:24 AM
Hello, I run into issues with one rig. It restarts itselft after while and it appears offline although I can ping it (but no ssh access). I use hiveos 0.5-61
Any way I can debug it ? Is there any log I should look for.
Thanks
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY Hard Fork @ Mining.Luxor.Tech Pools on: July 12, 2018, 09:05:08 PM
Rest assured that Luxor Technologies has adapted our pools to accommodate the LBRY hard fork. We encourage LBRY miners to access our set-up guides and connect to our pools today at mining.luxor.tech

Any idea with which miner can I now use to mine after the fork?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: July 03, 2018, 12:56:42 PM
August batch is sold out now on Bitmain's website.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: July 01, 2018, 11:55:59 AM
These chips are more vulnerable to temperatures. I already talked before, that 70C is a lot for them. My Z9 is in stock of DHL since Friday (some bastards). The first thing I do is put a fan of the S9 at the exit. It has to lower temperatures even at 800mhz

How did you attached that fan? With screws? Please post a picture if you can.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dwarf FPGA – the anti-ASIC on: June 25, 2018, 06:33:40 AM
I see the Dwarf website is down and their youtube channel has been deleted?

Ah yes - the exit strategy.

Seems likely!

BTC moved on saturday as well.. Tongue

What was the BTC address of the Dwarf?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Proof that Innoslicon = Halong on: June 21, 2018, 01:20:50 PM
Hey
guys, i just wanted to show the obvious connection between halong and inno in pictures
i compared a D9 with B29

as you can see the hardware is 100% identical

preview doesnt work here...just click on the error-picture

It was obvious from HW specifications they were publishing. Btw. could you make photos of serial numbers of hashing boards of both? Maybe first digits of the serials also matches together.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: June 21, 2018, 12:48:26 PM
Next shipment seems to be going out. Got a shipment email but only for a PSU, hopefully the miner will ship soon.

Same here: I was so happy to get an email from Bitmain about delivery... but then I read it...

   APW3++  Shipped Qty = 1
   Z9 Mini    Shipped Qty = 0

 Wink

Someone in China is messing with me  Grin

They do that. Gone through it a couple times; not a problem anymore since the older miners aren't worth running, so I have enough psus to go around. Wink

Or order only miners and use HP PSUs with breakout boards instead.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: June 19, 2018, 12:02:46 PM
Finnally!

BITMAIN Order Shipped

So they shipped before Jun 20 after all... But I'm a bit upset because of that 77 orders that were sent long time ago. I think it's not fair at all, but anyway, hopefully we will reach ROI in the next 3-4 months.

LOL I don't understand how Bitmain ships these things. I paid like 4 hours after opening the sale and no confirmation yet.. Not speaking about this pre batch of 77 miners.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer Z9 Mini Should I Buy it? on: June 18, 2018, 02:09:39 PM
Correct me if iam wrong but z9 can mine 20$ per day i was looking to mine zen cash and now days average is one zen per day thats good enought for me

Zen cash or Bitcoin gold?

There will be hard fork on bitcoin gold i guess. İm worried about that

Zencash

Bitcoin gold already forked (yesterday?)
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: June 18, 2018, 09:23:09 AM
Did anybody programmed these FPGAs with OpenCL? I'm thinking getting into it but I don't know if there's any performance advantage of VHDL over OpenCL.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: June 18, 2018, 08:10:23 AM
Is there any way too get in on the VCU1525 Bulk Order?
I was getting my ETH ready and honestly missed the boat by a few hours.
FPGAland says sold out.
I want the 3,600 dollar option.
Can I still get 1 or will there be another order? If so when would the ship date be?
They said that the next batch will be in 2019. No more batches this year. But you can still buy the original card from Xilinx if you are a company. However they seem to have longer lead times now...

It seems back in stock now at fpga.land
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Good time to buy some vegas? on: June 13, 2018, 06:13:09 PM
Think I might wait til I start seeing $399 prices, picking up some very cheap RX 580s off ebay and rolling the dice on their longevity for now.

I remember sale on newegg for $385, so I wait for this price Smiley
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ALLMINE INC - FPGA Cryptominer on: June 13, 2018, 05:23:41 PM

At these current BTC and crypto prices...and the FPGA card prices...

looks like mine (and perhaps) others view on all this is gonna get pushed out in

the future ...for more than a bit...

a couple questions

1) at $3.2k a card (damn, this looked more do'able a month or two ago) is
there any 'resale' market on these cards? What I mean is, the folk buying
these for industry ...likely need to buy 'new' for the warranty...or they'd
lose their job, kinda viewpoint

2) so as to the 'what comes first' do you mine with these FPGA cards on
the hope can do 'current' coins or do you do a combo of both current
coins that this FPGA card would make sense to mine and/or a specific FPGA coin?

3) What is the best guess of someone getting a working prototype up
mining ...whatever coins (above) as a public example?

thanks, just trying to catch up...but damn $3.2k a card is 'rough' if

there is no real 'resale' value to their industrial used nature (now).

(I'm a simple miner (or was looking iffy now) this makes my head hurt. Sad

Searing

1) There is a resale market but it's much smaller. In addition, with the modifications to the device it may be difficult to sell at all. I'm not sure how to say this... There are other things I'd like to do and having the card may be worthwhile to you for other purposes in the future outside of crypto.

2) There's no algo that exists which would be faster on a gpu than a FPGA. The GPU is instruction set based and does have some features in silicon beyond those instruction sets. The problem coin devs have is there's really no way to make an algo that is faster on gpu than fpga. The FPGA are specially suited for this purpose and while there are some limitations with the current generation of cards; in the future, it's not going to be a problem.

3) Ya i've posted me mining on the VCU118 development board.

Hi, I want to make order tomorrow cause I will have funds on my acccount but I'm located in EU so it probably won't reach your account till monday. Is it ok if I order tomorrow and also send funds by wire and send screenshot from my bank account or funds have to be in your account by friday evening ?
Thanks

Both of the discord links posted a couple posts back are expired. Would love to jump in if someone can post a valid link.

I took some verilog classes back in college. Are the bitstreams written in Verilog? If so, I would love to contribute whatever help I can to getting a working bitstream for the most popular algos. Who should I contact to help get me started in the right direction?

Is there need to have ram on 1525? I mean, I can't mine some algos without ram directly on board?
Thank you

Any ideas how much units they can produce at first batch? If they get over 300 customers with 100 Units it must be over 30 K.
