1  Other / Off-topic / Gradate but still an illiterate? on: November 11, 2017, 05:08:00 PM
Does achieving a degree means that you have become a civilized and educated human being? I don't think so. Getting knowledge won't make you an educated person. The most common example of illiteracy by educated people is when there is littering iin educational institutes and illiterate people are hired to clean the mess. cramming your course books won't bring wisdom, it will only bring knowledge without enlightenment.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: November 11, 2017, 04:52:32 PM
Money can buy you happiness if material wealth is what you want. It will never make a person happy who craves love, passion, freedom. Many people run after wealth of this world. In the pursuit of money they forget what their soul needs. Money can bring happiness to those who want it. The ones who require real feelings are never bothered by money.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Loosing motivation on: November 11, 2017, 04:37:19 PM
If you see a little child you can see the spark in their eyes. As we grow we keep loosing that spark. Life gets harder and keeps sucking the motivation out of us. I think motivation is the most precious thing in life and we loose it so easily without even being fully aware of it. As I grew up the most difficult thing I've faced is to keep myself motivated. The dreams we dream don't just come true. Our reality is totally different from our dreams.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: November 11, 2017, 03:20:27 PM
it is basically because of unequal distribution of resources. Some people have more they need and others lack the basic necessities of life. The rich don't worry about the poor, they mainly focus upon increasing their own wealth. The poor people struggle to even get a single meal a day. A state has enough to provide to every citizen but they normally are not willing to do this. Rich people need more.
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We are not the owners of this planet. on: October 08, 2017, 09:53:49 AM
Humans may have totally over taken the planet earth but that doesn't means that we are the owners of this planet. Being the most intelligent species comes with responsibilities. We have urbanized this planet. n other words we have destroyed the home of many species. Biodiversity is way more important for our survival than we realize.  We should let other live if not for them but ourselves.

Humans should be more wise in how they treat the planet and all the species inhabiting it. We have indeed destroyed the home of many species, but these destructive tendencies are in our nature. Earth, how much as we mistreat it will do fine and humans can't last forever on this sphere.

I think in the future we will learn and focus more on how to live in harmony, we have been in a survival mode for very long and we are slowly moving away from a survival mode into a more harmonious way of living. Accumulation, money, idea-ology's; they aren't satisfying.
I don't agree with the point that humans are going towards more harmonious ways of living. Though we have realized that we have not been on right path but it doesn't seem like we are willing to change our course. Humans are so lethal that they will make earth perish along with them. Violence is increasing day by day. There doesn't seems to be a way to put an end to it. Power and money has totally blinded our eyes as well as mind.
6  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Culture and Traditions fading away on: October 08, 2017, 12:31:47 AM
Culture and traditions define who we are, they make us distinct from others communities. Lately people are becoming more distant from their culture. People all over the seem to be adopting same lifestyle. I think westernization would be more suitable then modernization. People all over the world are adopting western culture.
7  Other / Politics & Society / Re: purpose of life on: October 07, 2017, 11:59:01 PM
well there isn't only purpose of life, the one we have defined for ourselves. There is much more purpose to our life than we can imagine. We don't know but we have been fulfilling this purpose since the moment we were born. Obviously achieving our self defined purpose gives us a feeling of completeness and achievement, but if we fail to achieve it then that does't mean that we are useless or our life is meaningless. We are unknowingly fulfilling our purpose of life.

9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: October 07, 2017, 03:53:21 PM
It is way too real. We have totally destroyed our ecosystems. At this time n our country we used to wear shrugs at least, and now I'm sitting in my room thinking of turning on the AC. In some parts it is getting extremely cold while in others it is getting extremely hot. We humans can somehow survive for a while but what about animals? they don't have any means to survive.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Life with out money ? on: October 06, 2017, 09:11:25 AM
If a person does not fancy luxurious life then it may not be possible for him or her to live without money. Money is like oxygen to them. If the person craves to live the life freedom away from the craziness of city then it might be possible for them to live without money. I'm not saying that it would be an easy life. Money brings luxury and it makes a person fearful that how would he be able to live without money because the life would be difficult. Nobody wants difficulty in life, but some do. They can sacrifice the luxury to live the life of freedom.
11  Other / Off-topic / Re: education and morality on: October 06, 2017, 09:02:21 AM
It is not necessary that educated people have high morality. Gaining knowledge does not mean that you will become a good person. It is a general idea that education brings the best out of a person, but this idea is not really the reality. The problem is in our education system. Now a days focus is totally upon increasing the knowledge of the students. Nobody cares about character building. The end product is a highly educated person who has all the knowledge in the world but his morals are highly questionable.
12  Other / Politics & Society / Real friends. on: October 04, 2017, 04:20:33 PM
There is too much these days about people have friends as snakes disguise. Well let us take a moment appreciate the real friends. I bet people still have real friends, the ones who truly stand by them no matter what happens. We waste too much time complaining about the bad people we have in our life. Why not appreciate the ones who have been in our life as a blessing. I've been blessed with a whole bunch of real friends who support me no matter what. Are you also among the blessed ones?
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: September 14, 2017, 06:44:20 AM
I'm not saying that all muslims are good but they aren't all bad either. A person having a sound mind can easily accept this statement. If one's is fogged with hatred and prejudice then they won't be able to distinguish between good or evil of this world. Why do they label one religion as evil just because certain people are evil. If this is the case then there is a history of atrocities committed by people belonging to other religions. My point is that no religion is evil, it's the humans who are evil.
14  Other / Politics & Society / Tolerence. on: September 09, 2017, 02:28:56 PM
Tolerance, now a days is a really hard thing to find. People don't seem to tolerate the existence of other people. Especially people don't tolerate other's beliefs. We have no right to kill someone if they believe in a particular religion, what harm does it to you? Everyone should have a right to live their life peacefully and freely.
15  Other / Off-topic / Re: Transgenders. on: August 26, 2017, 11:45:09 AM
Transgenders are confused people who are trying to confuse the rest of the society with their moral relativism and depravity.

do you think they want to live the lives they do?

it doesn't look much fun from where i'm sitting.
We are the reasons for their damaged morals and lifestyle. Our behavior makes them act that way. Here in Pakistan everybody treats them so badly. A few days ago I saw a man abusing a transgender for begging from his customers. What harm was he doing? If he was so much bothered by him being there begging then why can't he offer him a job? But no he can't his customer won't come then. Our whole society is messed up.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Supporting culture. on: August 26, 2017, 11:36:38 AM
Every country has it's own culture, and each culture has it's own uniqueness and beauty. Now a days culture has become a really insignificant part of our lives. Let's take our dressing for instance. Across many countries many people specially in urban areas mostly prefer western wear. Our cultural dressing is for annual festivals or whenever there is a need for #desi. Rural areas capture the true essence of culture it is part of their life. On the other hand we living a fast pace life have forgotten who we are.
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Imran Khan or Nawaz Shareef? on: August 13, 2017, 02:00:36 PM
I used to support Imran Khan, but no more. I thought that he was a good guy, who is willing to stand against corruption and Islamic radicalism. But a few of the recent events have proved that he is as bad as the other establishment politicians. And worse still, he is currently embroiled in a sex scandal. He is accused of harassing Ayesha Gulalai.
Well not a IK supporter either but I can't just stand Nawaz shareef

Well these are your thoughts that prayers are useless.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Imran Khan or Nawaz Shareef? on: August 13, 2017, 01:44:36 PM
Any Imran Khan or Nawaz shareef supporters here?
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the Most Peaceful Countries? on: August 13, 2017, 01:25:17 PM
