What you suggest is true, I really have to do my own research first before actually using it.
However, I prefer to be able to hear other people's experiences first when they play in this casino because it is more reliable and doesn't waste time.
Indeed, I always do my own research before using it, but only at casinos that already have a high level of trust from every gambler in it, so that it is easier when doing research and makes me feel confident again and feel that it is not in vain when I try to play.

A small example, if we already know before doing research that the casino is unfit and cannot be trusted, do we still have to do more research so that we are more certain, even though there have been many experiences of gamblers who say that the casino is indeed not feasible.

Doing your own research is indeed important but it is always interesting to hear what other members impression it. There are several high ranked members here that have a lot of experience in crypto gambling and they always give valuable insights. I also always like to check out the reviews on BTCGOSU as they are detailed and cover all aspects of a site.

You are also right in that! I didn’t do the calculations but thought there would be more profit left when you would place a counterbet. Best option to counterbet was probably by watching the match live and hoping that Djokovic would fall behind as the odd would go up a bit.
Yes I agree with you, it can be a good strategy to place a counterbet during the event, if you think you haven't made a smart bet or if you need to preserve your bank roll. But you must do it on a reliable and reputed sportsbook because live odds are usually terrible, especially if you can't watch the game. During the Australian Open I've placed a live bet @1.02 on Kokkinakis against Andy Murray one day and I lost, now I'm convinced real odds were way higher than that actually, and he wasn't about to win in reality.

Yeah, I am not the biggest fan in live betting as I have lost a lot more bets that I won and the odds can change very quickly. I used to place bets without watching and that is never a good idea as I lost a lot more bets than I won in that way lol.

Yes, I think it would have ended up being close to what I originally found the odds (23x++) if not even more. So let's say I put $1 on this right? (I actually put $5 but let's just say for easier math.

Normally I would also think about the counterbet but Djokovic was less than 1.2 to bet on.

So even if I bet 10x what I would win from Tsitsipas, I would only get back almost the same amount of money I placed on Tsitsipas anyway. Meaning, I put down $10, I would win less than $2.

Nett profit: $<12 - $10 (counterbet) $1 (initial bet) = <$1.

And if Tsitsipas did win, I would only gain $13. Because I put the counterbet.
Nett profit: $23 - $1 (initial bet) - $10 (counterbet) = $13

So If you think about it, should I counterbet to have a tiny net profit at the cost of losing almost half of potential big profit? Smiley

It doesn't make sense right? To me anyway, but yeah I get it, we should always try to make profit.

2 updates from me.

First, Tsitsipas lost badly in the Australian Open, and he was the guy I put bets on above 23x in this site, I couldn't believe my luck that he actually entered the final, but of course, he didn't even win a single set so it was quite a given outcome.

Second, I saw my email had ANOTHER Flash Promo on Saturday (weekend) but it again came after midnight for me lol

This was the first time I ever saw 2 flash promos in a less than a week, which seems it means I must have gotten it quickly for completing one earlier. Hope this is a more frequent phenomenon Wink

Wow that must have been a very nice multiplier if you won it! Did you not place counterbet on Djokovic to win? Sometimes, in situations like this, I would place a counterbet; in that way you always end up with some profit.
1065  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: February 01, 2023, 02:15:43 AM
Hello

So I will make this simple. I am a long time VIP member with over $500,000 in bets on duelbits .
Recently when I was playing  on their site they did something very close to scamming so I told them that I thought they where scamming there customer and was closing my account . Before I closed my account I had a small balance left and wanted ti withdrawal . As I did this it was not much just 10.46$ they said they were going to keep my money and demanded kyc. Now this s after I have bet over 10k a week fir the last year . They got angry I called them out and then decided to demand kyc knowing I am closing my account after I withdrawal this small 10$ withdrawal.

This site is suppose to be a large reputable casino but there behavior is a joke and beyond unprofessional.
I said I was not doing any kyc and now they have said ten there keeping the money

Proof : chat log https://pasteboard.co/KZIXfxHxWtks.png
Proof withdrawal : https://pasteboard.co/Qdrr0oQvc1mg.png

I am happy I close my account before something happened with a larger amount of money

Can you explain more in detail why you are saying that were doing something close to scamming? They always have the right to ask to do KYC but for such a low amount it doesn’t really make senses also. The screenshot you provided just shows 1 message from the agent about the KYC thing but doesn’t give any insight on the whole situation.
1066  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: February 01, 2023, 01:01:40 AM

Users are that fast to claim bonus and Stake finds that the telegram bonus drops weren't reaching the right persons. I'm not sure about it, because of the requirements to claim the bonus. Everyone doesn't have the wagering requirements to claim the bonus. The telegram group have got more than 100k subscribers and among them 2000 claiming within a short is possible as said by the above user.

That is the problem with all bonus code drops on Twitter and Telegram. You barely stand a chance to claim it as there are people online 24h and there is a lot of abuse also with bots. It doesn’t take a lot of time to also try it if the codes work but even when I was online when they post codes, I have never been able to claim one.
1067  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 01, 2023, 12:56:29 AM

Anything more than 1.98x is more risky for me. I have seen many people losing their bets at 1.99x.
I think 1.98x is still safer. Anything less than 1.10 is a lot riskier. You are basically going all in for just a mere 10% profit which is insane.
Just to make a 2x gain you will have to place 6-8 bets considering you are compounding your bets.
So the ideal range for me is between 1.3x to 1.98x. I generally place all my bets inbetween this range.

Personally I find odds of 1.3 still too low to place bets on. My minimum odd is normally around 1.5 to 1.6. If you find a good value bet and the odd is like 2.3 or 2.5, than I still place a bet on it but just lower my betsize. i I guess everybody has like its own odds range where he will place bets on.

In the end, it's all about stacking sats. Even back then faucet rewards were a waste of time for many people, faucets give around $0.002 (I took freebitcoin prize at the moment, but I guess there are better and worst ones)... but now that is 9 sats, and before it was around 1000 sats per claim (when I joined freebitcoin). So who started claiming faucets and having fun on the site long ago (in the best possible case withoeut or with some small losses, I am not in that category) now have a decent amount in BTC.

Faucets are waste of time if you are trying to make money with them... and I am sure we all know how many people try to abuse that, but it's not the point. I click that claim when I remember or when I am checking the site (for playing or FUN price, free WoF), while I am there why not? And like I explained above, with some careful playing and bankroll management (unlike me...) anyone can have fun and make a nice amount of sats.

Yes I agree. Don't see faucets as your main source of income but just a nice little extra. The base reward is pretty low, but imagine that the price of bitcoin goes x10, than all the small amounts you claimed also add up. My highest base reward I saw was around 130 -140 satoshis per claim.
1069  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 StarBets.io 🎲 || A Crypto-based iGaming Platform 🎲 on: January 28, 2023, 06:10:53 PM

Since you have just joined, what makes you like this site, please tell me a little review about this site so I can make research and consideration for entering and registering.
Are there not many choices of in-house games on this site yet, so that makes you say that hopefully more and more in-house games will be added.
Because with the reviews given by users in it so that it can easily make it a reference to join.

I like the dividend aspect of the site and it goes quite fast to mine the tokens. For the moment, my dividend is still low but trying to increase it daily. The dividend pool also seems to grow daily, so will be interesting to see how big the pool becomes in a couple of months. The third party slot section is not great, a lot of big providers are not yet listed.

So yes, unfortunately we must find someone else Wink Rybakina won with Swiatek, but she hasn't her own 'slot', so maybe we should bet on Others (4.44)? 1 and half day left.

Another case when favourite fails.
I'm sure you have already placed a bet on the women's side and judging by the names left in the quarterfinals then betting on Others and Aryna Sabalenka is sure to win, Others with final odds @2.48 and Aryna Sabalenka with final odds @4.13.
I've bet on those two, hoping Sabalenka can make it to the final and win although not so sure because right now she's playing against Vekic and H2H isn't good for Sabalenka.

I am just to late to place any new bets but I would have bet on others as the odd is still quite good. Since Swiatek and Jabeur are out, there is no real favorite anymore and everybody can win the title in my eyes.
1071  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 25, 2023, 11:06:06 PM

I did some more searching and i stand corrected. Most of the ones i had seen were just ones where you can buy cryptos with your credit card, which isn't really an exchange. It's a one way purchace.
Others were just using third party services for converting them. I haven't dug deeper what tech those exchanges that i just found with converting possibility were using for it, but i believe it could be internal conversion.

But saying that it's not trading activity is a weird claim. Swapping/converting is just another form of trading. It needs liquidity as exchanges do (buyers and sellers), even if that liquidity is not visible.

There is one casino that I know of that has a full exchange function with a very low fee (around 1.5%) and the swap is instant. I don't use it very often, but it can come in handy for a lot of players.
1072  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 25, 2023, 11:00:27 PM

Good to see Duelbits already list FIFA Club World Cup in their site, well there are a lot not really known teams, I think it's worth to bet on underdog since there's a good chance it can pull the upset. But if it's Real Madrid match, I don't want to take a risk to place a bet on the underdog because the popular team mostly will become a champion. Just like on 2016-2018 where Real Madrid win 3 streak in a row.

Lol there are indeed a lot of not known teams and I don't really like to bet on a team that I don't know. Why would the underdogs win against the favorites? Yes, we will have some upsets but I would look for some value bets instead.
1073  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁Welcome Pack on BetFury| 💸300 Free Spins + 150% Deposit Bonus on: January 24, 2023, 11:32:07 PM

If nothing changes, it will take a very long time for Betfury's burning mechanism to have any effect on the BFG price. Let me remind you that Betfury has already burned 1.6 billion BFG tokens. That's quite a lot because it is almost 33% of the total supply, but there is no effect yet.
However, maybe you are right that BFG is a long-term investment, but I think many people prefer to prefer short-term investments and more volatile crypto assets.

That's not 100% correct. The burning mechanism has not a big impact on the price but it does has a nice impact on the daily dividends you get. Every time, after the burning, your daily dividends are a lot higher but that effect only lasts a couple of days also. At a certain moment, all tokens will be mined and if they keep doing the montly burnings, than it should have more impact on the price I think.

I don't follow UFC so closely so didn't recognize the name and when googling him, his (half) brother is a lot more familiar to me lol (Michael Buffer). Interesting to see that mutliple big casinos keep sponsoring UFC heavily by adding new brand ambassadors.
This is not about not following UFC matches closely, I think it's about you not being a follower of the US National Football League, boxing, and professional wrestling because Michael Buffer is a pro and the highest-paid ring announcer of all time in the NFL, boxing, wrestling, and UFC, especially during the prime of Mike Tyson he's the ring announcer.
I think casinos are sponsoring UFC lately because the sports and bare-knuckle fights are getting attention these days.

That's what I mentioned; I don't really know Bruce Buffer, but I do know Michael Buffer (mainly from the wrestling and boxing). Sometimes I wonder how effective all these sponsorships are but it must work, as they keep adding more brand ambassadors.
1075  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 StarBets.io 🎲 || A Crypto-based iGaming Platform 🎲 on: January 24, 2023, 04:06:42 AM
StarBetters happy one year anniversary celebration/birthday. In your birthday anniversary I didn't see any bonus giveaway to your gambling customers. I only see $30k price pool. At least let there a bonus to the newly registered visitors to welcome them aboard. I also join other meaningful members in the forum to celebrate your 1 year birthday anniversary. Congrats.

The prizepool is maybe quite small but if they can grow a bit further, this will probably also increase! I joined the site a couple of days ago and I like it. The mining of the Star tokens goes pretty fast and the dividends can be interesting if you have enough of tokens. Hopefully some more in-house games will be added soon as I mainly play on these.

So there is more Brand Ambassador for Roobet and this time it's Bruce Buffer the voice behind UFC match announcement so if you are fan of it you would immediately recognise him

Brand Ambassador of Roobet

Quote
Veteran Voice of the Octagon”, Bruce Buffer. If you happen to be a UFC fan, then this guy needs no introduction. You’ll instantly recognize him as the official octagon announcer and professional ring announcer for MMA.

Here’s what he had to say about joining forces with the Roobet family:

“Ladies and gentlemen of Roobet! I’m so happy to be part of the team. In 2023 and beyond, let’s make it all happen and be the champions we are to the world, because now, it’s time for Rooooooobet!”

So it's amazing for the fans and who have wagered in the latest fight to get new winner.

I don't follow UFC so closely so didn't recognize the name and when googling him, his (half) brother is a lot more familiar to me lol (Michael Buffer). Interesting to see that mutliple big casinos keep sponsoring UFC heavily by adding new brand ambassadors.

Has anyone invested in BC.Game's bankroll feature? Minimums are very high so I'm not sure if most players have seen this, or checked it out. I've heard several conflicting things about that feature and any insights shared is appreciated.

What do you mean with high minimums? The minimums are pretty low, around 10-20$ for most coins (including BTC and ETH) so that's not really a high minimum. Personally, I wouldn't worry about their bankroll, they have several high rollers. There are some complaints here and there, but they are paying!

Congrats uneng and buwaytress with the wins, always nice to see the number 5000, especially when it is satoshis or RP!

Just checking in to see the vibe here and seems like the betting options get a lot of love these days, despite the terrible odds haha (sorry!). Get that you can't find many other price predictions but sports wise, losing a lot on value.

The odds are sometimes indeed low for betting on sport matches, especially during the worldcup, there was a big discrepance in odds with the regular bookies. But sometimes, it is still interesting to bet on, like on the outrights for tennis.
1080  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 21, 2023, 08:53:37 PM

I always get impressed by the number of variations and possibilities to bet
must be a lot of data to keep track of

do you think any of these more specific styles of bets can be gamed?
like the number of faults on a soccer play could be gamed by bribing the arbitrer (not sure if this is the correct term but if you got it you got it)

I think in smaller competitions that don't get a lot of media attention, there will always be players or teams that can be bribed. In snooker, there is currently an investigation to 10 Chinese players for match fixing and some players are high ranked that won some of the biggest tournaments. I guess it is something that will always be there and that will never go away.
