yes, it's weird to think such a big website would lock an account for 2,000 and keep it locked even after the user comply

on the long run they can make much more money if they run the business in an ethical way.

Every story has always 2 sides, so lets give Roobet some time before we draw any conclusions. It is as you say, they have a good reputation and they won't scam a user for only 2000$. Hopefully in the next few days, we will have more news.

Right now, we have a few very interesting matches in progress with V Williams are struggling in first round match against Belgium's Van Uytvanck lost first set by score of 6 - 1 and now in second set have score of 3 - 2 in William's favor. In another match Petkovic is doing much better than expectations against Olympics gold medalist Bencic after losing first set won second one and now in third both are working hard to win match.

In men's event, right now two Croatians are doing good Clic is leading match by 2 - 0 and Coric after having good start few days back now here won first set and now having tiebreaker in second set Rublev is also after losing one set now have led by 2 - 1 with good position in third set.

Venus Williams lost the second set also with 7-6 so she is out of the tournament. I am wondering if she will also announce her retirement; why not retire together with Serena; would be a nice goodbye for the homecrowd?

And what about those people who bought it during the initial stage? Each Fun token price was above 100 satoshi at themoment. I had bought a few thousands Fun token during then at my freebitco account to get the benefits, but I had sold them with loss as the price dropped quickly within two months. I sold them when the price was above 60 satoshi. I haven't bought big amount of Fun token after that. I would have faced more losses if I hold those tokens without selling them.

Initially you would have had more loss, but if you have kept the tokens and just used the benefits of your premium membership, you would probably be break even again thanks to the WOF spins (and maybe extra interest on your BTC savings and cashback). I also bought in the beginning and bought some more when the price dropped, but I am holding all my tokens for the moment.

Imo, people winning in wager races are those that would wager such amounts anyway, with or with a contest. I think for anyone ending up in the top 5,000 positions, the prize is just a nice bonus, that is much lower than what they won/lost along the way. That is my impression. I myself have never won a wagering contest, except on newly opened sites with very small number of participants. And in this particular race, after $38 wagered,

-snip

It is never really a smart idea to wager a lot just to receive a prize in wagering contests; in the end you will probably have lost more than the prize you would win. The amount you need to wager on Stake to finish in the top 5000 is just crazy high and I think, the amount of money people are wagering, must be the highest in the industry.

I have always wondered if it would be really be interesting to play these kind of games. If you get early in, it can maybe be interesting but you also need to put a lot of time in. From the moment, some of the projects really grow like Axie, they always lower the rewards...
1566  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 29, 2022, 11:51:06 PM
This Grand Slam marks the end of an era for one of the biggest stars in Tennis, Serena Williams
is playing her last tournament and is on court in a couple of hours against Danka Kovinic.

Its sad in a way but nothing lasts forever except her legacy, soon it will be turn of Nadal, Murray,
Djokovic and officially Federer.

I wonder how far Serena will be able to get. If she manages to survive a couple of rounds and can play her last match against one of the new top young players, it would be a nice goodbye. It would be a bit sad to see her loose against a "nobody".

That is a nice strategy I have not been thinking before but since you say that normal prize is 10 Satoshi 1000% bonus is 100 satoshi per roll so not a bad strategy at all.Let me go and implement it right away, collecting nice amount of satoshis can be used in a lot of different ways, like buying FUN tokens or just be keeping them and earning interest on the amount. Now as you say is the perfect time as we may even see 11-12 Satoshi per roll soon and with the 1000% bonus it can boost us up significantly.

I used the same strategy in the past, but you need to claim at least 13 times before it is really worth it. So if you are always online and have time, than this is a ideal time to do it, but it is not for me anymore lol.

We can buy good altcoins in the bear season if we want 50x-100x returns. Bear season is the right time to accumulate.

FUN token is a good buy in the bear season among the altcoins related to gambling sites. However, I will never say that buy Fun or all altcoins and leave the Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king and you should have a major portion of bitcoin in your portfolio.

You can always hope to get 50x or 100x returns but it is far from guaranteed. It is not because one coin pumped up massively during the some other bull runs, that it will be the same during the next one. Not saying that it can't happen for some of them and I think we all hope that it will happen for FUN tokens, that will make a lot of people very happy lol.
1569  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | BEST ODDS ON KSI 2 FIGHTS 1 NIGHT | VIP | on: August 29, 2022, 05:23:14 PM

It’s almost 20% profit for high win rate match like this is still a profit for a whale gambler that invest 5 digit bets for this match. Imagine the guy who made 60,000$+ bet on this match already have profit around 10,000$ without a sweat since both match ended pretty easy in favor to KSI. Most of the people knew KSI will win on both match and this is just an exhibition match which means KSI opponents doesn’t really need to win if they can’t.

But betting on this kind of matches sometimes scary because there’s always a chance that this players will gonna throw the match because we all know that they are just fighting just for money.

Everybody has different opinions but I learned it the hard way, that betting on such a low odds is not rewarding in the long term and will not yield a positive ROI. How many multiples don't you see failing because of 1 match (and most of the times it is the one with the lowest odd). Yes you can make good money by betting on it but at a certain moment it will always go wrong.

I assumed they had a reason not to show. That's one of the reason's I've always avoided this casino, lack of transparency.
I'm interested to test it out, hopefully someone can reply their current standings.

There are multiple reasons to not show it; it adds a little bit extra to the fun in my eyes. Just reread some older comments and you will probably need to wager around 150,000$ to get a place in the top 5000.
1571  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: August 28, 2022, 11:38:45 PM

Don't even know who Hijkata is but I am betting against Nadal first time he has serious opponent against him. Maybe not ML but some crazy handicap like +10.5 for sure.

From those players you mentioned above I can see only Medvedev and Alcaraz fighting it for the title. Tsitisipas can get far but will loose against any of the top players while I think Nadal is far from his best form, but if gets to final stages he is always dangerous. Ruud is not even worth mentioning, he has no chance for titles at top tournaments if it isn't played on clay.

Even if Nadal is far from his top form, he is always dangerous and I don't really like to bet against him. I can agree with Tsitsipas that he will far short but I am really curious to see how Kyrgios will do. Can be contender for the title if he really puts his mind to it.

The number of 3 Golden Tickets is quite good as I have seen people with more than 900 spins and barely getting one such ticket or not getting any at all,for the other prizes I am not that happy, all those spins means you only got the base prize or the medium prize of RP and Lottery tickets and not once the biggest of the prizes, that is not that reassuring but the number of GT tickets as I said is good, plus you get like 100.000 RP which you can use to exchange them for WoF spins daily and increase again your stash of them or withdraw them,I see no other good use for them.

Everybody got different strategies when it comes to the reward points. Personally I just cash them in as that is simply the easiest. You could exchange them for WOF spins but then it is also more a luck game to see what you will get back from it.
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: August 28, 2022, 11:20:02 PM
I once lost 25,000$ investing in a crypto casino token named rocketgame, the casino itself was fully playing on TRON smart contracts - It was kind of ahead of its time but they closed and so did my Investment - Up until today I wonder why that casino closed, it was made from the same owners/creators as duckdice and it seemed to be pretty successfull.

I also lost 0.1 btc in a casino bankroll investment 2 years ago.

Its very risky to invest into a crypto casino token, with BetFury, thats a good one. I should have invested it into BFG but rocketgame was even a better and more future casino then BetFury is so...

I will stay away from casino tokens, I rather invest into defi's and compound.

Sorry for your loss, that is quite a big amount! While I can agree that it can be risky to invest in casino tokens especially if you hope to score some quick money. The benefit of Betfury with their BFG tokens is that you earn them for placing bets on their site which makes it very interesting.

It's true that some gambling sites require gamblers to submit their KYC when withdrawing big amounts, but there are many other sites that don't require any form of KYC when withdrawing big amounts unless they found something suspicious.

I know some people who withdrew big amounts in this manner and never submitted KYC so far.

In the past that might be the case but I get the impression that more and more sites are asking KYC even if it is not such a large sum that you want to withdraw. I needed to do full KYC when I tried to withdraw 10 mBTC from a major casino site and it is not that I was doing anything suspicious also.

Not surprised KSI is heavy favorited here because he ever won against Logan Paul, his opponents e.g. Swarmz is a rapper and never box, while Pineda was a boxer but have a terrible record. I think KSI will win both of the fights, as each fight only have 3 rounds so KSI's stamina is enough to fight. Huge bettors will make money from this event, @1.18 isn't a bad odds.

KSI won both fights quite easily and scored 2 knockouts as well ;how can a guy like Pineda be a professional boxer? He doesn't have any skills at all.
It seemed easy money for the people who betted on KSI, but an odd of 1.18 is way too low for me. There is no value in such an odds.

It's true that not being listed on huge CEX is big factor for the price of the gambling tokens and the only gambling that I know that listed on Binance was FUN token which experienced mega pump the rime it was listed on Binance few years ago. Most of the new casino tokens still doesn't experienced this kind of pump since big CEX has a strict requirements on losting tokens that related on gambling which FUN token dodge since ot was listed on Binance before they updatethere requirements.

It is not because they have updated the requirements that it will be impossible to get listed there; it will take more work and effort for the team. All new tokens that get listed on Binance, always experience a massive pump (and also dump) when they get listed.

Decided to give it a try:

I guess I got lucky here with 3 Golden Tickets! And enough RPs for cashing out! All in all, I am satisfied. Smiley

Those results are not bad at all, iv4n. Especially winning 3 golden tickets is big! Let us know how long it takes before you reach 100,000 RP again; it is always interesting information! Currently, I am almost halfway but it will take me some more months before I reach the 100k mark again.

In my opinion it's preferable to wager 500,000 satoshis to receive 1 GT than purchasing each of them for 25,000 satoshis, though.

The point it that if you do "reasonable" decisions, you will end with more than 475k sat if you wager 500k. Which means that you not only received 1GT (additional benefit), but also you have a "base" profit. You just need to decide what to do with 500k sat, while many "small" players do not bet so much - anyway I think it is quite easy doable in a few months.

It also depends a lot on the amount of luck you have so it is possible to end up with a total of a lot lower than 475 k also. I know you also get a lot of RP if you would wager so much but don't forget that the house edge is also 5%.
1579  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 26, 2022, 11:10:12 PM

Awesome my hint was correct they added Ape Coin and Shiba Inu. I'm holding a small amount of Shiba Inu, I would like to try my luck using it for the sports bet.

I didn't know Stake added these following coins;   APE | BUSD | CRO | DAI | LINK | SAND | SHIB | UNI

I predict Stake will added these coins; XTZ (Tezox), MANA (Decentraland), Waves (WAVES), NEM (XEM), 1inchh Network (1INCH), Trust Wallet Token (TWT), or other Stable Coins

What is certain is that every coin added is generally in the top 100 because more trusted, from some of the coins you mentioned, I am sure it will be added except NEM
Now it is clear that the purpose of Stake adds a few new coins to attract more customers/users I was not surprised when  stake managed to get thousands of new customers

I wonder if adding a lot more coins really brings more costumers to the casino. I can understand the addition of SHIB as it is very popular but how many players really use DAI or CRO or UNI? That must be a minority of players.

Nah, I don't think that Nick will change for the better, maybe he can control his temper from time to time. However, his comment was about Anna Palus could be heard and maybe she felt ashamed. But then again, Nick is somewhat assaulting verbally in the crowd, even his coach and girlfriend.

So I doubt that she will just pursue that kind of money, she is a laywer after all and could really drag Nick in this case and there could be courtroom drama.

Sorry to say, but she is just looking for attention in my eyes. Come on, it was not such a big insult also and everybody knows Kyrgios has a big mouth. I don't get it that he would get sued for these kind of comments. There has been a lot worse comments made in the past...
