1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP]X-CASH - Global Payments | Cryptonight v7 | Fast.Secured.Low-cost. on: September 22, 2018, 08:37:47 AM
I am fascinated by the X-cash project, however I have noticed that the blockchain is already occupying over 4 Gb of space on my computer in this very early stage stage of the coin. Why is it so "heavy"? If it is so heavy already now, how will the growing size be sustainable on the long run?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin legalized in Uzbekistan and Iran on: September 09, 2018, 10:14:05 AM
News have emerged in Bitcoin being legitimazed in Uzbekistan.
A decree has been signed that permits the existence of cryptocurrency exchanges and other activity surrounding the industry.
At the same time Iran's government is allegedly about to recognize Cryptocurrency Mining as Industry.

Which are your thoughts on that? I find the Iranian news especially interesting, as energy prices are very cheap in Iran.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: September 09, 2018, 10:08:13 AM
LOL, how long before ETH goes in negative!! I know that whole market is affected but ETH is being affected the most % wise. I personally feel it is due to these fomo3d like games where few people are getting thousands of ETH and then they are dumping it on market. And maybe even some ICOs. Do you think there can be any other reason?

Well, for every one who is getting a lot of ETH there there is also some who are losing it. But you may be right, since the latters would probably be holders while the winnders would possibly be dumpers.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MONEY TRADING NETWORK - 90% AIRDROP - 2ND ROUND IN 6 DAYS - 1ST AD SENT on: September 09, 2018, 09:45:34 AM
How many people have received coins during the first round of this airdrop? Are wallets already functional? How big is the network now?
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Cosby buys 750 BTC on: August 29, 2018, 11:50:51 PM
Reportedly Hollywood actor Bill Cosby has recently bought 750 BTC (around 5 $million at the time of the purchase) when he was advised to do so by his financial advisor, in an attempt to save some of his wealth from what's coming to him after all the rape accusations.

Im not sure if he is a rapist or not because I haven't looked at the evidence, but like or not, this is a clear use case of Bitcoin. His net worth is like half a billion USD, so I guess this is like a plan Z to keep 5 million which would be enough to live without working in case things go very bad for him.

I found this interesting nonetheless and worth mentioning here. Full news:

Interesting news. The question now is why he has invested only 5 Million in Bitcoins out of a fortune 100 times bigger which could easily end being seized because of his legal problems.
Protecting just 1% of hiw wealth is probably not the optimal choice.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⚡⚡🔐[PRiVCY]🔐⚡⚡[12th Airdrop - Starts 25th August]✅[PoW/POS]✅ on: August 28, 2018, 03:29:51 PM
Wow the days passed really fast, It's like that we are on Airdrop 2 last week/s but now we are on airdrop 13! Good luck to all participants and if you have any problem don't forget to visit us on our community chat support channel!  Cheesy
Yes,  time flies very fast. That's why we need to vote for our bright future today. - Spend only few minutes to register and vote every 24 hours. -  You can vote once after registration. doesn't work for me today. Probably it has to do with yesterday hack. I would not be surprised some coin votes vanished again after they solve this problem.

Which hack are you talking about? Anything the privcy community should know? Already the experience at BiteBTC has been a disappointment for many.

Everyone, let's vote on Privcy every day in Sonox. Push up Privcy to the top and make everyone happy.

My daily vote is done.

Have a good day guys, make sure to retweet all tweets this week!

Privcy now has slided again to position 15 on Sonox, one more slide and it will be out and it will be very bad for our investment, so everyone in the community should now commit to vote EVERY DAY for Priv on Sonox!

They are now probably starting to get arrested all around the world. One of them has been just arrested in India:

Airdrop 8 was also dropped today. About 10 hours before snapshot. So they got counted too for the snapshoot, of course if you reg. your address in time!

272 valid users, received a combined pot of 250.000 lovely Dstra's

Come on over and join the fun!

I have not gotten the AD for some time now, been heavenly busy  Wink but was able to fill out the swap form and confirmed ok on the sheet. Happy to see more improvement with the project and glad to still be part of it.

Lucky you to have successfully filled out the form before the snapshot, I hope lots of people did not miss out on that deadline and loss their coins. I have remained here since I came in the project and will be here to support it thru  Wink Waiting for DSTRA v2 wallet.

I am curious to see how many people of the community will have missed out the swap. I hope not a big quantity, we really don't need the community to shrink.

I ain't that excited about whitepaper, to be honest. It's good that finally it's arriving and will be useful for other members and investors to know what privcy is actually trying to achieve, but the real excitement is the development itself.
I am eager to see the new updates mentioned by the team for the web wallet, and especially e-commerce plugins. These things will push the project forward and in different league altogether.
Me too. I bet 50-80% of people not gonna read it anyway. I more eager about mention of mixing service, and privacy related developments, since there is no good enough coin with privcy.

I agree,  mixing service and privacy related developments are what can really boost public interest on PRiVCY and favor adoption by the big guys.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Are you ready for the future? on: August 16, 2018, 07:59:52 PM
BTX has the potential to be a serious player. Bitcoin Gold has made it in to number 25 by virtue of market capital so Bitcore can do it too

Great coin with great team Smiley

All those BTC forks cannot even be compared with Bitcoin as far as their tech and usability is concerned. Sooner or later the market will understand this simple truth.

BTX is not a BTC fork. Know what you are talking about before spewing your shit.

Has anyone compared the price action of BTX versus all the main BTC Forks in this bear market? That could be interesting perhaps.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW ANN][AIRDROP] 🚀 DSTRA COIN [DST] 🚀 [PoS] [PoC] [MASTERNODES] [DAM] on: August 13, 2018, 01:01:35 AM
Don´t forget to register and dump private key for the swap!

V2 wallet and MN are comming!

It looks like tis is now the most important task to accomplish for DSTRA holders. Those who don't keep tuned are at risk of losing their coins.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ Papusha Rocket Technology - New Supertechnology! ⚡ on: August 09, 2018, 12:32:42 AM
The project is quite interesting. And you can be new to participate in the campaign bounty?
Very soon we will start our bounty company. Watch for news. We announce that

Did the Bounty campaign finally start?
By the way, I didn't understand exactly the reason why the token should appreciate so much in the following years, as you are stating in the OP.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Are you ready for the future? on: August 09, 2018, 12:19:55 AM
The whole market again flies to hell, including Bitcore. I'm afraid that this time we are 1 dollar. These manipulations of the market greatly affect the altcoins. There was a small pump of the BTC and everyone was happy to sell everything for him, but now there's nothing to buy back.

The market is collapsing these days with prices dropping so fast. It is very strange that coins cannot hold their price.

You new here?  This is normal for crypto!

Yes, this madness is normal for crypto, but I cannot really say I'm getting used to that. Otherwise I'd have sold everything hight and rebought is at a fraction of the price.

I know the time for masternodes is about to come for DSTRA, but when exactly will the change take place? Will the masternodes be easy to setup?
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most Crypto investors are Cowards on: August 03, 2018, 02:42:54 PM
Most crypto investors are scared to Death when they see their FIAT money poured into crypto vanishing in a terrible bear market. That is not being coward, that is being righfully concerned.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC in 2018? on: August 01, 2018, 10:18:34 AM
What we can expect from BTC around December 2018.  There are many predictions, some say it will go around $40,0000, some says it will same around all whole year, and there are other many other different predictions.  What’s your saying?

I will have a more lucid opinion starting from september, now the market is terrible and I guess we will experience a new low. Impossible to make forecast now.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⚡⚡🔐[PRiVCY]🔐⚡⚡[9th Airdrop - Starts 4th August]✅[PoW/POS]✅ on: August 01, 2018, 10:15:05 AM
First a partnership with Band Testament which has huge fan following, then CoinMarketCap listing.
Yesterday, the discord was lit and the whole community came alive.
Today the team has made another announcement regarding new features being added to web wallet.

That is a good news but I don't want to be over optimistic on the benefits - most fans of bands are ordinary people who are not into cryptos, so that won't change much in the PRiVCY market.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did the government want to kill Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2018, 10:44:01 AM
as we know, many governments in the world are banning bitcoins and here I have my own why the government want to kill Bitcoin, because I think Bitcoin can be used for terrorist financing, money laundering, illegal weapons purchases, crime and tax evasion. therefore the government forbids Bitcoin, because Bitcoin transactions are difficult to trace so it is only natural for me if the government is very worried about Bitcoin and many country banning (block) Bitcoin.
but this is just my opinion, so if I am wrong I apologize.

Thank You.

That's only theatre, if the USA government would really like to kill Bitcoin they'd be able to do it almost overnight. As for the other governments, they don't have the same power since they don't control the OS of the world's computers and Internet main routing servers.
