Fanstastic to see bitcointalk community really inputting into these sorts of scams that will hopefully prevent someone from losing their money with them.  These guys are FRESH and I hope they don’t scam anyone.  It is a sad truth that someone somewhere will lose their money to these charlatans.

I am not the one to jump into offers that are beyond realms of normal - and have enough experience not to go depositing my funds willy nilly into any old “pretend exchange” or god forbid someone else’s wallet, so I was never going to give these guys anything.

I followed their scam “procedure” up to a point - just to be able to give as much detail to folks on here, so that people know how these “signal trading” scams work.  I’ve listed all their “steps” and known contacts of this group of scammers under the Scam Accusations section.

Thank you all who replied here for shedding more light on these crooks - hope we saved some folks getting cheated by them!!!

Cheers all,

Hi folks,

Has anyone heard of or had any dealings with Heptagontrade.com??
Site is brand new.  They claim to be signal providers, and say they take 15% of your trading profits as the payment for their service.  Their claims of profit are, of course, too good to be true.  So to me their whole offer smells fishy.

They apparently have a “free intro session” with one of their instructors, then you start day trading with the said trader every day for 30-45mins and at the end of 8 weeks of trading you pay them 15% of profits generated.

Any thoughts/experiences?

Thanks
4  Economy / Scam Accusations / WARNING - Heptagon trade!!! READ!!! on: September 17, 2020, 04:27:14 PM
Hi folks,

It all started with me following a comment from a guy on YouTube under AltCoinBuzz video who was shilling some guy - trainer of traders named Allen Albert.

Turns out Allen Albert works for heptagontrade.com!!!  Beware and do your due dilligence if you come across this domain/company/name.

For the sake of “investigation” - I followed their process to the point of being comfortable.  Site’s been registered a month ago - alarm bells!!!  Template of the site a recognisable - alarm.  Testimonials - made $180k in two months starting with 50k etc - alarm.  But I wanted to see what this Allen Albert is all about.

On their site - live chat - doesn’t work!!!!  Tried it ten times - nobody ever showed up LOL

To go on with the process I selected their Pro package and was greeted with a form to fill out so that someone can contact me.  I left my details.   Telegram as preferred method of contact (out of options offered).

Someone contacted me within a few hours.

I was asked if I had $100k of capital to start with.  When I said no - then 5BTC would do.  I said no, can do - I’ve got 1BTC I’m willing to lose - that was enough in the end.

I had to “sign” an agreement which they filled with some serious looking “fiduciary” legal phrased speak - essentially commits you to nothing and them to nothing, but anyway, we played along further.

After I advised my Telegram contact from Heptagon Trade that I signed the agreement.  We went further.

He suggested that I be ready within 1hr to go through a mandatory FREE demo trading session, after which we go LIVE TRADING immediately.  I couldn’t do it in 1hr - so we teed up a time in 4 hours from then.

At the agreed time - again through telegram - we met and I was advised to visit:

Cryptocoincentre.com

Register there and let him know when done so that we can go through the demo so that he can see whether I am able to “follow” their signals.

That site is a very VERY poor cobbled together crypto exchange lookalike.  I created an account just to see the site - withdraw button doesn’t open anything LOL - there are spelling errors in menus - all in all - nobody should be tricked into believing it’s a real exchange.  BUT YOU’VE BEEN WARNED ;-)

I advised him that unless I can trade “their signals” on my account on one of the recognised exchanges - then we can’t play any more.  He advised me that I clearly don’t know how “signals” work - and that they work on only certain exchanges and that “his” worked on this “exchange” because it has a good “equity to leverage ratio” ;-))))

His words in quotes.

DO NOT SEND ANY OF YOUR CRYPTO TO ANY OF THE MENTIONED SITES!!!
