Hi folks,

Has anyone heard of or had any dealings with Heptagontrade.com??
Site is brand new.  They claim to be signal providers, and say they take 15% of your trading profits as the payment for their service.  Their claims of profit are, of course, too good to be true.  So to me their whole offer smells fishy.

They apparently have a “free intro session” with one of their instructors, then you start day trading with the said trader every day for 30-45mins and at the end of 8 weeks of trading you pay them 15% of profits generated.

Any thoughts/experiences?

Thanks

"Site is brand new"
"Signal provider"
"too good to be true"

Yea you've pretty much just listed 3 red flags mate. I suggest spending your time trying out other legitimate ways of making money instead. Learn a new skill/trade or something. Services like their are simply either scams, or totally unprofitable.

They are scammers. Don't believe their lies.

Their so-called signal platform was registered on 2020-07-30

But they claim to have made  11,703 signals. In 1 and 1/2 months (~45 days)? What kind of bot is that?  Grin

Their signal report show signals from the months of march. Their platform wasn't even online

https://heptagontrade.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Signal-Report-16-Aug-2020-181959.pdf

Fake reviews from as early as January 2020, yet the site was just launched recently

Last but not least, you can't have such a win rate when most of your trades are on a leverage of 100 or 50. Even the bitcoin market is not very volatile like it is right now, your position can still get easily liquidated even with a slight price movement in the opposite direction

Everything about them is a lie.

If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably a scam

Common line that should really be put up in mind.I wont repeat those words above given by other members but dont let yourself fall into these scammers.
Even if we do say that they are legit, getting 15% from overall profits is just too much. Also if theyre profiting then they wont consider on opening
up a follow trade or fund management service or something related to that.

Yeah lately with the crypto and stock market rallying there are tons of these types of "signal trading services" popping up everyday. If you are on Twitter or Reddit you will find that people spam their own "paid group service" almost everyday and they promise "Make 10% a day of profits" to lure new traders in. These are almost always scams.

There was some trader on Twitter that had many followers, he went long 100x leverage when BTC was $12K a few weeks back, got liquidated, lost $400K and then decided to open up some type of "secret paid group" for 0.10 BTC per month per member. Does that sound like a smart trader? Obviously not. But people keep falling for these scams left and right.

Let's not forget the fake team (website archive: https://archive.is/RWeF1#selection-1955.0-1955.4)

As for Koen, exact pic shows up here but the website is too dodgy for me to trust. I did find a yandex zen account that looks like him but since the person posts a lot of his private life, I wont share it, plus the off chance that it's not actually him. Well, at this point it doesn't change anything if one of them is a real person although I very much doubt this one is.

Fanstastic to see bitcointalk community really inputting into these sorts of scams that will hopefully prevent someone from losing their money with them.  These guys are FRESH and I hope they don’t scam anyone.  It is a sad truth that someone somewhere will lose their money to these charlatans.

I am not the one to jump into offers that are beyond realms of normal - and have enough experience not to go depositing my funds willy nilly into any old “pretend exchange” or god forbid someone else’s wallet, so I was never going to give these guys anything.

I followed their scam “procedure” up to a point - just to be able to give as much detail to folks on here, so that people know how these “signal trading” scams work.  I’ve listed all their “steps” and known contacts of this group of scammers under the Scam Accusations section.

Thank you all who replied here for shedding more light on these crooks - hope we saved some folks getting cheated by them!!!

Cheers all,
