Innosilicon is really BAD BAD BAD. I hope that no one here will be their future victims.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Innosilicon A5 delay compensation: NOTHING for me on: January 11, 2018, 02:14:17 AM
What about you?

Innosilicon:
- Be a really bad company
- Disrespect customers
- Products not as advertised, a lot of issues
- Ignore their own commitment/promise to customers

Conclusion: NEVER from Inno anymore.

Disclosure: I bought miners from Bitmain, Baikal and Inno.

Let take this quote to show how Inno-SHIT treats their clients. I am also one of their victims. Never from Inno-SHIT anymore.

I have a question for those of you who have done the TF card firmware update. I have build dates of ~11/13/17 on all 10 of my a5s and they do have the TF card readers installed. When reading the manual for flashing via TF card it clearly shows how to set the boot image on the card. But then the last part of the instructions tell you to go into the miner via browser and update firmware there. It says to do it from the firmware you dl onto your pc and says nothing about using the tf card.

What exactly do i do with the tf card i just setup? Put it in there and update firmware via pc using web interface or does it update off the tf card? I'd rather not brick these things, i've already got 1 with a dead hashing board and many others with the pw problem...

I was also wondering about this. The Instructions that Innosilicon provided to update the A5 through TF card reader is not clear.
I assumed the same thing you did.. I put the TF card into the reader, then did the browser update using the 'Update File' provided on their website.

Seems to work okay so far...

It seems that may people are having issues with the A5's. I've heard many others mention that they have dead hash boards, or missing TF card readers. I have also read many posts mentioning software issues people have been experiencing.

I cannot believe how irresponsible Innosilicon has been to their customers and the community. Comments on their Twitter page are tearing them to shreds, calling them out on all of these issues that they refuse to acknowledge any of their customers, then go on to advertise their newest A4+ on their page and pretend like everything is fine.

My personal experience with Innosilicon so far has been:
- Several months late on promised miner arrival time
- Very unclear instructions
- No response from support when I tried to email for clarification at any point
- Was promised free A4+ as compensation for late A5 delivery in one email
- They took back their promise in the next email, but then actually offered it again on the condition I wire them over $400 US for shipping charges
- I wired them the $400 over 2 weeks ago and still have not been able to get a confirmation.
- No longer answering any of my emails

I am trying to install the official Window wallet but my antivirus software removed the files (the files were identified as high risk).

Is it normal?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GroupBuy - Innosilicon A5 Dashmaster X11 on: January 04, 2018, 04:29:26 AM
Never buy from Innosilicon anymore.

My A5 deal with them was the worst deal ever. High price, big delay without promised compensation, poor support, hardware issue.

What is the delay compensation from Innosilicon for A5? I got some emails from them, but am not sure what is the final policy.

Do you know how many x10 will be released for the second batch?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Baikal Giant X10 on: December 24, 2017, 12:01:44 AM
Which coin is the most profitable to mine now with x10?

I am mining DGB but I really want to try more profitable coins.

Erm, maybe look just above your post for a big hint!  Grin

Great thanks to you.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / A4+ Stale Shares - HELP PLEASE! on: December 14, 2017, 03:20:03 AM
I have some A4+ running but the rate of stale shares of all the A4+ miners is high (~20%-30%). How can I reduce this rate?

I have L3+ running too, and the rate of stale share is pretty low. So I guess the Internet connection should be fine.

What is A5 delay compensation you have?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / A5 delay compensation on: December 12, 2017, 02:20:14 PM
Hello All,

For the famous/fabulous A5, what is your delay compensation?

I think we should discuss here to make everything transparent and let all bitcointalker know how Innosilicon treats their clients (well/badly, depending on how we get as delay compensation).

Is it possible to use Innosilicon PSU for Bitmain miners (L3+)?

Where is the hell A4+, INNOSILICON?

I put the order in JULY, and they told me delivery date will be in September...
then in September, they said there will be upgrade to A4+, OK, fine, let me wait...
no it is almost November, no update at all... just nothing...

Any lucky guy heard from them on original A4 then A4+?HuhHuh??
Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

A4+ delivery will be ~ one month late. Innosilicon looks like a scam right now. They got a lot of money from customers and deliver nothing.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Innosilicon A5 DashMaster 30.2G 750W on: October 26, 2017, 09:13:52 PM
I'm really surprised that it seems that some A5 customers are going to have a free A4+ as a compensation bonus, but some A5 customers are not going to have any compensation.  Huh

What do you guys think about all this?

It is totally crazy. Some are treated better than others. Who will need their discount for next A5 batch (with 10k price tag)?
