Very big thanks to all voters! Here's to a great year of notarizing and exciting Komodo developments!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: March 30, 2018, 03:15:51 PM
The notary node elections end April 1st at 15:00 UTC.
I hope to contribute project funding, code, and a reliable notary node to the Komodo ecosystem.
I am an independent candidate running in a single region (AR), so a vote for me is a vote for increased decentralization of the Komodo platform!

You can view my proposal at https://github.com/KomodoPlatform/NotaryNodes/blob/master/proposals/jackson/README.md. Thank you. Smiley

4  Other / Meta / My account was hacked, finally got it back. on: October 18, 2017, 07:35:07 AM
Hi all,

Been a longtime member here. Got out of the Bitcoin scene for a while, and during that time my Bitcointalk account was compromised.

Thanks to theymos I managed to get it back through a lot of security questions.

Happy to be back!

The purpose of this post is to inform anyone to disregard basically anything I posted in the last year or so. That was the other guy.

looks cool but how come when i tried to sign in through Steam I got this notice?

https://i.imgur.com/Vp0nUeT.png

If you do some research sir, you will find that, that warning message is placed on ALL gambling sites, even if they are small, their bot detects them and then places the login warning. Bigger sites avoid this by a domain redirect, I can explain more on how we did this as well as other sites if interested in purchasing.

For now just click continue anyways, it'll work the same.

Thanks for clearing that up though! I appreciate it.

Thanks for the explanation, it makes sense now.

pcoin! Huh

I never wish to post this on your main thread that was why i sent you the pm but i will need to redeem my personality which is the image of every reasonable person.

Just as i informed you through my PM, my antivirus blocked the program and deleted it immediately, though you said i should disable my antivirus in order to get it installed but my computer security knowledge does not permit it because it was not a false alarm.

I am really sorry about this but i am not able to use the software.

N.B
I checked the software website and all the claims of the OP about the features and functions are real.

May I ask which anti-virus you used that triggered from this application>

Any vouch copy available? I have tested software like this in the past and have current sites I can thoroughly test and review this on.

13  Economy / Auctions / Re: Domain Name Auction : NameCoin.Com on: May 02, 2017, 02:54:48 AM
This is a nice domain that can be valuble to someone but I dont think the value would come out of the fact that it's the name of a failing crypto.

Namecoin is number 40 on coincap right now, even way below something like dogecoin. It doesn't really have much of a future in my humble opinion and that it also doesn't have much actual use by anyone.

If someone wants to buy the domain it could be used as a brand for something like a crypto friendly domain registrar but I can't think of any value out of it if it's being used or based on the namecoin crypto coin. For that reason I think 2 BTC is a fairly high price especially considering how much BTC has risen over the past weeks.

18  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bitcoin mining script | Start your own website like hashocean. Version 3.0 on: April 19, 2017, 11:00:49 PM
High probability this is a scam!!

dejixmen and OP registered literally within the SAME HOUR today.

Never a good sign when a seller tries to vouch for themselves using another account!

20  Economy / Auctions / Re: Betbase.io is for sale on: April 17, 2017, 08:41:53 PM

If he somehow cheated then it is confirmation that your scripts can make only loss for your customers.
You said that Betbase code was inspected by indepedent security firms...

My thoughts too. To deposit so little and be able to win 75 BTC the player is pretty lucky depending on how many bets and how much time was spent playing.
