2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 08, 2020, 01:24:16 PM
There are so many gamblers in this virtual world or even in the real life, there are some that can be considered as a compulsive gambler or those really addicted in gambling. That is the worst thing that you may acquire in gambling, in which that all the things that you are usually doing are now nothing, you are only focused on gambling, even your relationships on your friends and family are affected.

I want to help those people who really abused by the gambling, let me list down all possible solution that they may use to recover from being addicted in gambling.
1. Focus on your family or friends - if you have strong relationship with your family and friends then you will forget to play gambling, and they may help you to limit yourself from gambling.
2. List all things that were affected by gambling - if you can see all the things that were affected because of gambling then you may realize that it has no goods to give you, then I hope that it makes you think to stop gambling.
3. Read and Search about gambling addiction - if you can see all people that have been affected because of gambling then you may stop from being addicted on it, there are some people's life that already destroyed because of gambling.
4. Meet and visit experts or professionals about mental health - If you really want to limit yourself from gambling, but you can't then you may visit some experts and listen to their advise.

We should be a responsible gambler so that we cannot end up being addicted. We should keep in mind that we are playing just for fun and we shouldn't take it seriously if we lose sometimes because it will probably give as stress. As we start gambling we should be aware that we might lose our money that is why we should set our budget for it and we shouldn't exceed with that limit.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 06, 2020, 04:44:55 AM
As we all know, porn sites are at the top which are frequently visited by people in the internet world. So in my opinion if a porn site accepts
payments with bitcoin it will make bitcoin more popular and used by many people.Because transactions on porn sites we need privacy and
bitcoin can provide a solution. But on the other hand we have to admit porn sites can make the image worse in the eyes of some people.
So in your opinion, if a porn site accepts payments with bitcoin can make bitcoin more popular or will it be dangerous for the future of bitcoin
because it brings negative effects?

I dont think that the usage of bitcoin in pornsites can affect the future of bitcoin, it is still business even though it kinda negative in a way. In addition, we all know that the porn industry can give a big network of people that is why there is a big possibility of mass adoption which is good to bitcoin. It will act like a currency if implented so I dont think it will cause the bitcoin to fall down.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling affected your personal reputation? on: March 01, 2020, 06:56:32 PM
Everyone stating that gambling will affect someone's image in the society so this is actually happened with you?

For me it happened once why are you gambling its a sin in our life I replied its my wish I can do what ever I wanted.

Maybe it can affect our image but who cares as long as I am using my own money then why not.  I am playing just for fun and to be stress free so I dont care what other people say. There are always people who will judge us so we better continue what we are doing as long as we are not hurting them.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: March 01, 2020, 06:52:42 PM
are there any things in life that would make you stop gambling?

the two things that come to my mind are:
- making enough or a lot of money.
- finding a passion (even relationshiprelated or life/activity related) that changes your priorities.

but can you see other things than that?

Maybe I will stop for a while if I dont have money to play. This is called discipline. If we dont have enough budget for gambling dont play, we should limit ourselves with this to avoid debt because a lot of gamblers are having this kind of behavior and it was not good and healthy for you. It is okay to have fun but still be reaponsible as we play.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: March 01, 2020, 06:47:45 PM
What the crypto projects (any type you can think of crypto projects), are doing in order to achieve mass adoption?

Is there any group of projects working together in order to achieve this social and specifically crypto goal?

If all the different crypto projects were more coordinated and united this could be achieved soon or at least each month the whole crypto could have some positive progress.

Actually your idea of uniting those crypto project seems vague because all of them are different from each other and delivers different value. Maybe the thing they can bring is the people that supports their project because in this way they are inviting new users to explore the crypto ecosystem. Also, if we want crypto to be adopted, it should be first implemented by tjose big businesses out there to generate enough number of supporters.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Why bitcoin will appreciate forever on: March 01, 2020, 06:41:28 PM
Even though we have a beartrend today, we cannot deny how powerful bitcoin is. It was the pioneer of all cryptos out there that is why even though it was experiencing decrease of price a lot of people are still hoping and believing that someday all the sacrifices will be wortb it and they will be glad that they have some btc holdings .
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get lucky ;) on: March 01, 2020, 06:27:06 PM
This article shows four ways to get lucky:

1. Maximize Your Chances to Be Lucky

2. Listen to Your Instincts

3. Expect to Be Lucky

4. Look on the Bright Side

Can these steps make you lucky?!!To win the lottery you must get lucky first of all.
Do you have a way to make you lucky most of the time?

If you are thinking that there are a trick to become lucky then you are wrong. That is why it is called luck because there are no certain technique for you to become 100% lucky. Same thinga happen in gambling, there are no assurance that you will won and there is no way to hack it. On the other hand it is all in your mindset, but maybe the best thing you can do is to keep positive even it is not going well.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: March 01, 2020, 05:45:40 PM
I've seen a guy asking for advice about lotteries and it got me thinking. I don't understand why people even like lotteries. You don't do much, most likely lose and have to wait for the outcome for a long time. Perhaps, people are interested in the possibility of winning, but that would mean they are not really into gambling as the process. So what is it for you, do you play only for the sake of winning or do you care about the process of playing/researching/anticipating the outcome? I think that the process is that is attractive in gambling, and while the outcome surely matters, I would not like to wait for a long while to learn it.

There are different types of gamblers aome prefer to sit down and enjoy the process but others are more on hitting the jackpot to become instant millionaire. Gamblers that prefer to love the process are more likely the ones who are away fron being addicted because they are probably doing it just for fun. On the other hand the one who are more focus on the outcome are the one who will probably become depress after loosing or worst become addicted because of wanting the jackpot.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon to accept bitcoin payments directly... the real breakthrough!? on: March 01, 2020, 05:31:36 PM
Hi All,

I'm new here but I'm not new here if you know what I mean. Everything has come along way from how I remember it six to seven years ago when I first found discovered it. This is my first post so just walk with me on this one. A couple of days ago I had a dream that you could pay for everything on Amazon with bitcoin. Crazy I know... but then I thought wait that isn't that crazy.

So I started doing some research. I found a company which developed a browser extension to support payments on amazon with bitcoins (Not sure if its against the rules to post the company so I wont)... I'm sure there is a demand for it as I've seen the trade volume on a well known p2p exchange using Amazon gift cards. I say all of that to say this, what do you think that would do to the value?

Surely this would be the moment which would solidify mass adoption of the currency?

Just a few crazy thoughts going through my mind... whats your opinion  Huh

This ian't impossible actually and may possibly happen in the near future. We are embracing digital transactions lityle by little that is qhy it was nit surprising if the time will come that amazon starts to accept cryptos. If this will happen, like what you have said, it will reault to a mass adoption and this was a positive thing for bitcoins and other cryptos.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: March 01, 2020, 05:25:49 PM
There are so many gamblers in this virtual world. Some can still control themselves, and there are also who can not control themselves when they are already in the form of the long table with a full of card any bet of different gamblers, and those are considered as Compulsive gambling.

First things first, compulsive gambling is the uncontrollable eagerness on gambling, even though you keep on losing the game, you forgot to do some valuable things than gambling and forgetting to spend your spare time with your family and in a way that you don't mind how much money you spend and how much money you already to the game.

There are times that whenever your family and your friend advise to you about stopping on gamble, you keep on ignoring them, you do not listen to them anymore even though they care so much to you and when you deny them then you may consider yourself having a compulsive gambling disorder, you don't care anymore to anyone, the only thing you want is gambling.
I suggest that if you feel that you are like that, you may visit some professionals to help you.
Seeking professional help was very important especially in this kind of situation. If we want to help ourselves we should prevent it from the start. If we have a problem about controlling ourselves in gambling we should stay away from it. On the other hand gambling is not bad, it really depends on your discipline. Play responsibly.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: March 01, 2020, 05:18:40 PM
all the altcoins are suffering because of the market
each and every altcoin brings something different to the crypto ecosystem
do not just take the word or suggestion from others
do your own research and invest accordingly

This was true it is better to conduct our own research about the backround of the alts and what was its purpose and what value it will deliver. However, If I will invest on crypto I will probably invest on bitcoin and not to other alts because heres the thing, the one who can generate large network can probably the one who can survive and in we can observe it with bitcoin.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: March 01, 2020, 03:33:13 PM
Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign or you are already a gambler and wants to be part of a gambling campaign, in my case I come to play gambling because I want to become a part of a gambling campaign, so far this is my 6th gambling campaign and I still continue gambling because I want to continuously involved in gambling campaign.

How about you?

Why do you want to be involved in a gambling campaign? It kinda weird that you are gambling because you want to be involved in gambling campaign. I think it is more on you are joining gambling campaign to gamble. Seems like you are talking like a newbie yet you are a legendary member. Anyway, Gambling is fun to do and it can make you an instant millionaire so keep on playing.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Using of Blockchain in Election on: March 01, 2020, 01:26:04 PM
One usage of blockchain technology is for voting yet the majority still doesn't use blockchain technology during elections.
Quote
"India’s citizens will soon be able to cast votes from outside their city of registration thanks to a blockchain-based system."

Every election, we encounter some citizens who don't vote because of their reasons. It's either they don't want any candidate or they can't vote because they're living far from the voting places.
Quote
"The commissioner said that regulators are collaborating with the Indian Institute of Technology to develop a blockchain system that would allow citizens to vote remotely."

This can help those who have a problem with the distance from their house to the voting place and it's also a way to prevent multiple votings.

Source:
https://cointelegraph.com/news/indias-citizens-will-vote-with-blockchain-election-commissioner-says

The plan of using blockchain technology in voting is to make it more convenient for others and to make it fraud-proof. During elections, we can really see a lot of things happening, especially for those candidates who really want to win so they will manipulate the result. But with blockchain, it will be hard for them to change and manipulate it. With this, we can achieve more transparency when it comes to the votes.

As a concerned citizen, I know what my country is facing, and I feel bad for our situation because those who don't deserve to be in the position are sitting prettily in their thrones. I really think that the different governments should try exploring this technology to help them because it will totally make things easier and more accurate than the usual system where they can cheat. The government shouldn't be afraid of trying it unless they want to manipulate the results.

Photo not mine

Blockchain can be used in various field and one of that is voting. Although voting is one of blockchain's main usage, not everyone knew nor even aware of it. That's why further practices and studies should be done so they can maximize the use of blockchain technology. Just like what I have said, with this technology, it'll be easier to collect votes and it can't be easily manipulated by someone. I only have limited knowledge about the use-cases of blockchain and I still studying it.

PS: I'm not posting this to promote the site, I just want to share the news with everyone. Thank you!

This was a great idea and must be apply to every country. As we can observe, this was a common issue today. When the election comes, we can hear issues about manipulation of votes and this was hard to avoid because sometimes the people involved are the ones who are in the government. With blockchain technology we can probably avoid these problems and can result to a fair election.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: March 01, 2020, 08:22:14 AM
Guys, I think most participants here wears a signature os a campaign, and most of them are for gamble services

My question is: Do you spend the money you gain with the service you are working for?

Sometimes I do some gamble, and I always prefer to spend the money on the website that are paying me, I think it's fair and a way to say thanks  Grin

Of course, especially if it is trusted and legit. I am more comfortable if I will play gamble with the website I am advertising of because first of all I already know what are their backround which is very important in choosing an online gambling site. We should make sure that our funds are safe and secure before we deposit money to the website.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: March 01, 2020, 07:47:20 AM
Today I'm thinking of selling my BTC even though it would be a big loss right now I've been with BTC a while and used to the volitility but this time I believe it's different

I was a believer in BTC and the future of crypto I believed having 1 or more BTC was a smart thing to do that many would look back in 10 to 20 years wishing they'd bought some when it was still obtainable by the regular Joe.

Now I feel that BTC will trend down hitting sub 1 dollars prices possibly even 0 over the next 12 to 18 months. the current coronavirus outbreak has been BTCs first real test and it failed hard and failed immediately. It's not a store of wealth and its failure to hold value in a economic down turn is spectacular and visible to all.  Today I think BTC is a failed experiment. What are your thoughts?

Here is the thing, no one can say what will be the future of btc because it was still new even it was almost 11 years in existence. Many are comparing it to gold well in reality it is very different to it. Another thing is that we are not aware what will be the behaviour of btc if it will experience recession because the last recession happens year 2008 and as we all know 2009 was the year it was created. In conclusion, btc can be something or not in the future it really depends on us whether we would like to risk our money in case it will become something in the future.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have an idea in percentage how big gambling industry's contribution? on: March 01, 2020, 07:18:36 AM
As what the thread title says, I like to know based on your opinion how big the contribution of the gambling industry to the entire market.
I have been a gambler for awhile now and I believe that with the contribution of our industry, it will only make the market stronger in the long run, and it's one of the reason why adoption is happening at a very good rate IMO.

This wasn't surprising because almost all of the people are intersted in gambling, who doesn't want an instant profit in just betting? As we can see the projects that become successful in this forum are almost about gambling, this is because it has a big network of people that are interested to it unlike those campaigns about agriculture etc. With this we can conclude that gambling industry can bring a lot of people in the market resulting to mass adoption.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Resist all temptation to fomo on: March 01, 2020, 07:08:23 AM
Im sure we are all aware what fomo means.

Bitcoin has indeed ran a good race to over 10 000$ and it has pushed up the prices of altcoins simultaneously

Do a proper root research before getting into altcoins, resist all temptation to fomo.

Because when btc moons, the dead alts can rise momentarily only

NB, FOMO is not a good feeling during the bulls

Yes, dont waste our funds investing to those alts that doesn't really give value and just because of fomo. There are a lot of new alts out there but the problem with them is that they don't have enough supporters or simply they dont give value that is why they starts to fail after the launch. On the other hand there are also a lot of good alts that we can say have a value but in terms of investing we should go on bitcoin because it is the one that has larger network adoption.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the Black Americans on: February 27, 2020, 03:34:49 AM
Misconception and Misinformation. This is the main reason why Black Americans hated Bitcoin that much. They have been feed by the wrong information about what Bitcoin can do for them.

Quote
According to a survey of 5,126 Americans conducted by Coinbase and Qriously, “Twice as many Black Americans have been negatively impacted by the current financial system” compared to their white peers.

Bitcoin can really change the current situation about the economy of African-Americans. They are having a hard time managing their wealth because of their banks that provides a slow transaction. It affects really the economy of the African-Americans because the slower transaction will reflect to their economy movement.

Isaiah Jackson the author of Bitcoin and the Black America book, talks to his fellow Black Americans that that they no longer need the current banking system to manage their wealth. He is promoting the usage of Blockchain Assets to his community since it provides a faster transaction that their current banking system can't provide. He also stated that the main reason why the Black Americans do not want to adapt bitcoin is because of the wrong mindset that Bitcoin is a scam and no longer exist. He created the book for him to be able to relay the message to his fellow Black Americans that the block chain technology would really have a huge impact to the economy of every other country.

We can be the light to every other people that doesn't know anything about Cryptocurrency. We must give them a proper information about what can Bitcoin do to change their lives. We must think of a better way to spread the information about it. Who knows? Maybe these information might be the reason why every other countries will accept Bitcoin in the future.

https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2015/01/why-are-so-few-black-people-using-bitcoin/384268/

Do you have some information on why their banking system was slow?  I believe that they have atleast digital transactions operating and it somehow make their transaction fast.

In the case of bitcoin, absorbing negative information about it can really affect our perception like what happened to our fellow Black Americans. One thing we can do to atleast prove what Bitcoin can do is to spread the real news or information about bitcoin. Yes it is risky in some way and doesn't guarantee you a return but the technology behind it is something that can really benefit us.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: February 23, 2020, 03:56:27 PM
Maybe it's asked before, still, it will help us a lot.

Why do you gamble?

Why do you do not invest that money instead?
Why you do not donate them?

Because you are bored?
Because you are looking for entertainment?
Because you are going after the big score?

Why?

I am gambling to reduce stress, it is like playing video games or watching t.v. Yes it is great if I win but my main goal is just to have fun especially with my friends. Maybe if I won a big amount of money, I can donate some of it and invest some to atleast it will become useful. Primarily we are gambling because we have money to do it so that is why I think the only thing that cant prevent us from gambling was our budget.
