There are so many gamblers in this virtual world or even in the real life, there are some that can be considered as a compulsive gambler or those really addicted in gambling. That is the worst thing that you may acquire in gambling, in which that all the things that you are usually doing are now nothing, you are only focused on gambling, even your relationships on your friends and family are affected.

I want to help those people who really abused by the gambling, let me list down all possible solution that they may use to recover from being addicted in gambling.
1. Focus on your family or friends - if you have strong relationship with your family and friends then you will forget to play gambling, and they may help you to limit yourself from gambling.
2. List all things that were affected by gambling - if you can see all the things that were affected because of gambling then you may realize that it has no goods to give you, then I hope that it makes you think to stop gambling.
3. Read and Search about gambling addiction - if you can see all people that have been affected because of gambling then you may stop from being addicted on it, there are some people's life that already destroyed because of gambling.
4. Meet and visit experts or professionals about mental health - If you really want to limit yourself from gambling, but you can't then you may visit some experts and listen to their advise.

What about limiting your budget for gambling ?

The less funds you allocate to gambling, the better you will remain safe from the risks of losing money.

What about limiting your budget for gambling ?
The limited budget for gambling will not allow you to become addicted to gambling, because once you are out of your budget you will automatically quit it for the day or week, according to your plan. The less funds you allocate to gambling, the better you will remain safe from the risks of losing money.
Limiting doesn't really help at all because they could just cheat on their own.
The best way is to seek help from family and friends and focus on your family just like OP's suggestion.

Very well said mate, there are a lot of ways for you to recover yourself from being addicted in gambling, and on of the best way that you have said is focusing on your family or friends, if you have strong connection on your family and friends, then I don;t think that you will find gambling anymore, if you are gambling because of entertainment, then your friends and your family can give it to you more than gambling can give to you. But if you are gambling because you want to earn money, then you better stop it because there is a little chance of winning any gambling sites, because the one who win in gambling site is the owner of the websites.

Why not being proactive/preventive instead before taking the world of gambling or even before gambling once? Many people have found fun in gambling as it gives delicate satisfaction that other games couldn't bring. And an addict, even in any reason or aspect they are addicted to, requires further rehabilitation and rehabilitation is their only cure. Why? It's easy to say that one can recover from something due to what they first think of changing. Yet even change is constant and the idea of changing can be changed also. Almost all of the recovering methods listed in the OP can possibly cure the addiction to playing gambling games. Every method in the list is depending on the level of addictions you have and some are unnecessary like on number 4 that you need to seek for an expert to help you recover in the addiction you have. I did the number 2 and 3 on the list, It is quite helpful and it helps me recover from my addictions slowly, But the most helpful thing for me is that making myself realized from the bad things that gambling addiction did to my life, I am recovering slowly until now.

There was a time in my life when I was addicted to gambling back when I was in high school. Yes, I was young back then but I realize that I don't win and every time I go there, I lost every money I have in me including those cents in my bag. Every day I do this, I go there after school, in the classroom, I think of some strategy on how will I get that huge money by gambling. My whole world revolved around gambling and gambling strategy. Thankfully, My Mother always gets me and scolds me about what I'm doing and she was never tired to get me out of it. then one day I realized, that she was right all the time and finally I decided to leave it until now.

The one who introduced me to that place is my friends, that's why we need to be careful when choosing some friends because whatever they do, they somehow invite us with what were they doing and the worst part is, if they have those bad habits, they might share it with you without realizing it.

You can recover easily by looking at the bad effect of it in your life and how will people say about you while doing this. and lastly, why not use that money to invest in some business, you can save it and make some changes in your life and be motivated by those successful people who are not gamblers.

None of these strategies will work unless you yourself are determined to recover from the bottom of your heart. If you are simply lying to yourself, nothing will work and you will always be an addict.

Therapists can also help to an extent, but they would most likely repeat what I mentioned. You are responsible for yourself at the end of the day(No one else is).

I don't know why there are too many gamblers who say they are addicted to gambling. If they know what is the consequences and become addicted, probably at the early stage they will stop gambling or moderately used gambling. So, from the start, you can avoid this addiction stage. But all of these was depend on you, you should know how to discipline your self. It's started all with you.

All OP's stated above was helpful and maybe that is the right way to cure gambling addicts. We could not cure addictions through our selves, we should have a family, friends or parents to guide us. Mental illness is not curable in a short period of time, it takes time to recover.

Some people, if they get lost from gambling they do things to turn back their money, the worst thing the they may do is they may cheat the game, just to win win the prize or the reward, but in some part limiting your budget will also works, especially if you are in the casino alone without your friends or someone you know.

Get a new hobby. That's an idea that I always introduce whenever the topic of addiction comes up, whether it be gambling or not. They turn to addiction cause of the lack of stimulus in their lives, having nothing to do and repeating the same cycle over and over for their entire lives, hence, they turn to stuff that causes addiction. It's a case of "actually finding a hobby, but letting it affect you negatively" kind of thing. The relationship between the two should honestly be a positive one, so if a hobby gives you a negative feeling, switch it out, find a new one.

Trust me, it's hard to just say remember your family/friends and get some help. There's always a what if situation wrapped up inside your mind that is really difficult to let go. You could also give the idea of slowly reducing your duration of being under the effects of addiction. Like how smoke addicts use cigarettes less often each day, maybe 2 days, so that they can slowly get used to having 10 cigs a day to 0 cigs a day.

They turn to addiction cause of the lack of stimulus in their lives, having nothing to do and repeating the same cycle over and over for their entire lives, hence, they turn to stuff that causes addiction. It's a case of "actually finding a hobby, but letting it affect you negatively" kind of thing. The relationship between the two should honestly be a positive one, so if a hobby gives you a negative feeling, switch it out, find a new one.

Trust me, it's hard to just say remember your family/friends and get some help. There's always a what if situation wrapped up inside your mind that is really difficult to let go. You could also give the idea of slowly reducing your duration of being under the effects of addiction. Like how smoke addicts use cigarettes less often each day, maybe 2 days, so that they can slowly get used to having 10 cigs a day to 0 cigs a day.
I am agreeing about this comment in which i am once a smoke addicted and which i smoke always sometimes in a day i smoke 20 sticks of cigarettes but when i noticed that i am miniso or first i concert on a mental health professional in which they help on what to do about my case detail me that if i am smoking 20 sticks of cigarettes per day then art it by lesson everyday one stick and which it becomes more helpful for me because day by day i am lessen my cigarette stick, and it is more likely than gambling addiction seek for any things that may keep your attention or focus just like for example on studying working and also seek for attention on your family member that your family is one call away.

As what other said above are true especially when you will find and make your self busy again but not in any form of gambling.
It is really comes first in ourselves, even I am not yet felt the addiction, but I can control my self and I have always to think my priorities before doing such gambling. Most of the ways listed above are always starting in ourselves.

Self will and the person's determination to escape from this vice is really needed, those listed ways are legit and really helpful to back up the persons
healing process. If you can find other means of entertaining yourself and keep you being busy,  with the help of your family and the treatment that

Or you can just completely leave the tech world. Not permanently though. Just for a few months, go to some province, visit other countries ( if you can ) and start breathing in the fresh air. You can probably start trying out hobbies you'd never have touched before, like farming (or planting/taking care of plants. Trust me, it's actually fun if you get into it) or fishing. There's more to this world than gambling, and even if you start saying that you have no money, you can try out drawing. Maybe even dancing, or playing sports.

We saw here some good advice where and how to start to fight gambling addiction but I think that the biggest problem is to admit.that you have a problem. Many people just ignore that thinking everything is fine but if your whole life turns around gambling and you're having financial problems because of it then you are in big trouble.
Friends and.family can help but you just have to allow them to do that and good will and a lot of efforts is needed to get out of addiction.

The best way to recover yourself from being addicted to gambling is by limiting your money and time in gambling, so that you don't push ypurself to gamble again even you lose before you leave. Changing your habit could also help you to stay away from gambling like playing video games or going to work just to keep you busy.
