BTX wallet trojan put in there by devs who claim most of the "airdrop" ... it was epic scam Wink lmfao

Can you please be more specific about the trojan? Is it a joke?

He is the resident troll and FUD maker around here. You'll learn to ignore him.

I have tested cryptopia on january 17th, took like 1.5 hours for the deposit to appear and 1.5hours for the withdraw to appear in my wallet. What exactly happens there now? Is their wallet unsynced ? Are the deposits delayed as well or just the withdrawals ? I have tried other coins, like btc, doge, ntrn, eth they all worked fine (eth was slow to accept deposits, took maybe 1hour). Is this delay only for BTX withdrawals? Go on their IRC webchat http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=cryptopia-ex&nick=typeyournickhere and write them support tickets, try to be short and to the point without cursing or blaming (I do it too and it never helps).

From what i noticed it looks like its on a 30 Min cron and processes the smallest transactions first and pushes large transaction down the line until their wallet can payout. It was a good system on lower volume and a larger hot wallet, but with BTX and everyone trying to pull the coins out, the hot wallet got tapped. So basically speaking BTX is mostly in peoples personal wallets, not exchanges. BTC/ETH and other coins are ussually day traded and sit on exchanges for a while so their wallet is always full enough to pay out. Thats maybe why they withheld for the airdrop, to get enough coins to pay off their pending transactions.

We need some real exchange!! what is the point that has an excellent coin that we can't trade quick or the newer can have a good experience with the coin...
Today what would be the best exchange for sell and buy Bitcore??

Is there a problem with Bit-Z? I see most of you talk about Cryptopia and Hitbtc and nobody mentions Bit-Z. Is there a problem registering there?

Nope, but it has ridiculous ID requirements for withdrawal though. I believe you have to submit a passport and wait 3 days.

Today is sunday and tomorrow we will receive the 6% airdrop.. it is weird that price went down. Seems really unpredictable, instead of going up one day before he airdrop, it is going down.
Well does not matter for BTX believer cause the most important thing is to hold the coin until atleast the end of 2018!

Some people dump because the price movement after the airdrop can be more than the airdrop. So if the price drops 10% and you dumped before and re-bought, basically you got 4% more. Thats why you see this, but overall the price action of this is continue its bullish creep.

Hey folks,

New week and a new updated airdrop end date prediction calculation from me.
So for this week I predicted 180 000 coins to be dropped, while the actual number was 177 740. So pretty close!

This slightly-lower-than-predicted number makes the end date move from April 30th to May 7th as it seems we are in a new trend where the weekly percentages are increasing slightly slower overall than in the beginning of this airdrop journey.

Next week I've predicted 187 000 coins to be dropped. You can see how that prediction holds up next Monday when I'll be back yet again with a new update.

Here is the estimate, surprisingly airdrop growth is shrinking compared to expected. I honestly think that there might be a small dip after airdrop and then a strong bull run as everyone who seems to want to dump is doing so already.

How is it decided what nodes get added to the commits? For example this commit https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitCore/commit/694221cec7ca7cd5a9998755b609632503f1de56

Just wondering, of course I would like my own node to be added there at some point Smiley

all these nodes will be ddosed hella by the wall street people *mark this post* masking centralized ponzi schemes don't last in my world :-D lmfao
Wtf are you talking about. I work on Wall Street. I assure you most people don't give a fuck about crypto, let alone alt coins. I have a tech background in cryptography and cyber security so these kind of assets interested me. I like this one because of the tech and lack of agenda behind it.

I think the project has good potential, just need to find the correct niche to attach to

why because it has "bit" in the name? :\  o rly?
Seriously what do you get out of trolling Limxdev's projects? It almost seems like you were the one attempting to hack him. The reason why this coin has potential is its segwit functions, master nodes, and it being the first user of xevan.

Any of you people in here mining bitsend?
Im so slow lol, i have my gtx1080ti since 4 months but never thought of mining with it, and now when profits are dropping hard i start mining, logic lol
Is it profitable mining bitsend with gtx1080ti? i mean in the long run it will be for sure ofcourse since bitsend is way undervalued, but i mean with current price, is it profitable? i pay expensive electric, 25cents/kwh lol

Yep I got an old AMD mining rig thats been mining it since July. 1 MH/s gives about 0.8 to 1 BSD a day.

Hi the mac version is non functional with Mac OSX under OS version 10.3. I cannot install the 0.14.0.5 due the OS restriction and 0.14.0.4 or older gets stuck at 4 weeks. The current OS version I am using is 10.26 and recommendations. I already deleted the chain and re downloaded as well as rebuilt the the chain, but to no avail.

any reason why the price is so low only $1.40?

Low supply low market cap will we see a rise soon? it's on big exchanges..

Low supply and on big exchanges does not guarantee a coin will have high price, but we should take a look how the progress of the price of the coin since the first day of the launch. In my opinion, BSD is increasing time by time although the volume is not that big but it is stable which is good. The price is good enough now if you see how much it was long time ago.

Not to mention people selling hundred 100s of thousands of coins they bought at 0.005 cents. Basically once the original holders stop selling off and the ones who are buying the market cap worth of volume at $1.00-$2.00 dollars hold then you will see a large price movement. I can see this hitting $5-$10, then repeating the process and so on.

I wonder what it will take to get us above the 90s range and into the 80s range. New exchanges would definitely give us a boost. This would be a great time to circle back to Poloniex, Bittrex, Kucoin, Binance...now that we are top 100 coin. Getting listed on Binance would probably push us into top 50 literally overnight. We need more exchanges, so let's make it happen.

Airdrops dry up, when you have 5%-8% weekly inflation it knocks the price down. More exchanges would be nice. Honestly just Bittrex would be nice. Also we need more pairing with ETH, LTC, and BCH.

this token is still undervalue. like really? 331 on coin marketcap with 20million usd volume everyday. and it is listed on big exchange like bittrex.

Just happened today. Normal vol is ~2 mil. Ranged between 8000 satoshis and 10000 satoshis forever.

Considering users that had stuck withdrawals at Cryptopia... How long does it take to withdraw after ticket? Been 4 days and support hasnt even answered..

Sorry to ask here, i know this is NOT a Bitcore issue. I just want some Cryptopia user feedback.

If you still can, maybe cancel your withdrawl and do it again in a smaller chunks? little over 100 BTX went through in 5 minutes, so maybe there are only issues with larger amounts because they are manually checking it or something.

There´s no option to cancel it as it was confirmed by email. It just says processing..

No answer for the ticket either. Not even an auto answer.

Withdraw number is 2102xxx from 6/01/2018, almost 200 BTXs.

I made 3 new wd afterwards of less than 20 coins (6/1, 7/1 and today), that went thru in minutes.

From what I gathered is that their hot wallet is depleted and they are collecting up transaction fees and giving them out. Of course the smaller transactions get priority for volume sake and large ones like 200 BTX takes to long and delays too many transactions to collect at once. It is probably being collected slowly and will complete once there is more volume.

Hi,
I am getting this message in my wallet "Warning: Unknown block versions being mined! It's possible unknown rules are in effect". I am using the "bitsend Core version v0.14.0.4-unk (32-bit)" version. Is that okay or i have to download a new one? Thanks in advance.

Download version v0.14.0.4b, it was a known UI bug that they release a hot fix for.

Bitsend just past Bitcore in CMC rankings. Then again Bitcore is fucked because the incorrect supply.

why the spike in cmc and such a volume increase ? just because the tomorrow meeting or major announcement?

Maybe its getting noticed by some whales. Who knows we can be like a Neo coin kind of growth.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Incorrect Bitcore(BTX) Circulating Supply on CMC on: November 21, 2017, 04:45:38 PM
I propose a compromise. Since it is estimated by Seeking Alpha that 25% of all BTC is lost, https://seekingalpha.com/article/4082979-many-bitcoins-lost-forever, That 12.5% of BTX is removed from option 1 to account for the lost BTX and BTC. If you really want to be accurate I would say the circulating supply should be about 25% lower due small amounts never being claimed and the 12.5% Lost right off the bat.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - new virtual fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2017, 07:18:12 PM
I think this coin has good fundamentals and it's very underrated compared to other alt like BTG or BCH but you need to pay attention to some facts. It was not created trough a fork and it's not completely clear what happened with CMC and total supply amount  Huh

Basically, only 583000 or so BTX was claimed in round 1 of claiming. The new snapshot on NOV 2nd distributed BTX at a ratio of 1 btc to 0.5 BTX to the bitcoin wallet addresses. BTC owners just only need to import their private keys to access their coins. 10% of the supply the devs are keeping as dev fees. The remaining 30%-40% or is being airdrop to early holders to encourage saving.

Hello. Does anybody have problems registering to BitCore Airdrop? I always get this message:

Error: BTX public key or signed message not valid

Any help appreciated Smiley

Also make sure if you are using your bitcoin wallet keys, import them to the bitcore wallet and sign the message through the bitcore wallet.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Bitcore- BTX - SEGWIT - BLOOM - ONLINE - new virtual fork 1:0.5 of Bitcoin on: November 17, 2017, 05:49:18 PM
For the guys that have been around for a while, Why is this coin so underrated compared to BCH, BTG? For what I can tell the devs have done fantastic work at reducing the size of the chain, ensuring stability, scaling transaction volumes, and speeding up transaction speeds. Everything segwit2x failed to due atm. The coin just seemed to be completely ignored for a better part of the year.

Well, this is not an official fork if you want to see it in a technical way. So it generally takes less media attention. not a lot of big player voice their support for it also. The devs did this before forking become a hot topic like it is nowadays. BTX was never intended to compete directly with BTC while other two more or less trying to take the head on approach with more political argument against BTC.

To be clear, this one is considered altcoin, don't get the wrong idea that we are here to replace BTC in any case.

I know it won't replace BTC, otherwise the hash will be SHA256 and neither will BCH. If anything I think BCH will probably crash and burn in the long run. I think this can be become an ETH like coin.
