People blindly posting #Proof Of Registration would not be counted.
Glad to know that! I think you should ask everyone's telegram username so you can know who joins in Bitfufu telegram group!

Not running a telegram campaign here. So it is not needed. The Telegram image is added here just so people do not join some fake group by mistake.

Let's think for a second.
Would such a world benefit mankind? Would it destabilize the current geo-economics? Is there even a remote possibility that we as humans let go of this ancient tradition of drawing lines on sand that have only served to create problems among masses and has done NOTHING good so far?

Well there is a different prospect to this theory. Consider there are no home boundaries and everyone can go anyone house and stay there. You can understand what mess it will create and how difficult it would be to manage. So therefore we have home boundaries, then we have cities division and then countries borders so that there is a division everywhere so it could be managed easily.

You are confusing privacy with nationality. That is equivalent to saying you welcome your guest into the living room with the same vigor as you would in your bathroom. We may own homes and land but do we own a country?
You can have cities and states and allow people to move freely between cities and states just as easily between borders. Look at the European nations.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A world without borders? on: January 31, 2021, 09:45:12 AM
For all the countries that attempt to secure their borders, it's always surprising that people don't look towards South Korea or Japan that is like 99 percent homogenous. Pretty sure Japan outright rejected Syrian refuges. For some odd reason, not much discussion about Japan being islamophobic.

Maybe having strong borders and allowing unskilled people into your economy is a bad idea?

Way to go budd! For twisting facts and presenting half truths.
You epitomize this meme

Japan's population is dying of old age and there is no space for their own population, how would they accept immigrants? Same with S.Korea.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] WILL TRUMP BE ELECTED TO A SECOND TERM? on: January 31, 2021, 09:37:31 AM
He's a fucktard foobar and he lost. I wanna know if the winner of this bet was paid..

Haha. Yes he was, or they were rather.

Man, what a wild ride the last year has been.

If anything the results of this poll illustrate how lopsided the forum is politically.

The election was indeed close, but in the end Trump lost fair and square.

Too bad his staunchest supporters can't perform the slightest bit of introspection -- that's why they supported him, after all. But if they could, perhaps they'd save themselves from being duped so hard by an obvious con man next time around.

It is no secret that the political supporters of Trump are the elite fringe filth that has been lurking in America ever since it was first formed. The civil war, the black protests are the causes and effects of the extreme left ideologies that people foster over there. It's a shame that the same filth exists in a progressive field like Blockchain.

But I guess that is also natural. Since they had money, they invested early. Since they were socially isolated, they adapted to anything online more easily than the progressive yet slow mainstream centrists and moderate right wings.
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] WILL TRUMP BE ELECTED TO A SECOND TERM? on: January 31, 2021, 04:10:40 AM
I was obviously referring to people who chose the option "He won't be impeached", because he was impeached.

He seems to still be the president..

That's not being disputed.

It's not even being disputed that we know it's not being disputed.

Cool

He's a fucktard foobar and he lost. I wanna know if the winner of this bet was paid..
12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A world without borders? on: January 31, 2021, 04:05:13 AM
It is capitalism that makes people messed up.  It is scarcity mindset that makes people greedy.  People weren't greedy for hundreds of thousands of years.   Capitalist nature is not human nature but of course it is the current nature of the world.

You know that ... "People weren't greedy for hundreds of thousands of years..."

how do you know that?

what I know is the greed that you've displayed. There is no greed like that of communists, who want the people to give THEM all their goods, land and money.

I actually agree with you on this. Greed is the very thing that drove the cavemen's society to hunt and gather and stockpile. If they weren't greedy, they wouldn't have survived. Greed is one of the fundamental driving forces of human civilization. And of all living things actually.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Local sports book, arbs? on: January 31, 2021, 04:00:48 AM
The government can not stop jobless person seeks money from gambling games because they think that they will have a chance to make money from that.
That's wrong, the government can stop them by banning a casino or a gambling platform.

A jobless person seeking some relief from gambling, I don't think that would solve the problem, instead it will only make the problem worst.
First it did violate the rule of "gamble what you can afford to lose only" these people are jobless, hence they should not be allowed to gamble.

Do you actually think banning anything from the government actually stops it? In that case Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies, in general, would be long dead. How many times was Bitcoin banned across the world? And what made you not stop caring about it?
The only way anything can be stopped if there is a cultural renaissance about that thing you are talking about, something big and dark enough to let people agree unanimously that it is bad. Think about what the Germans did to the jews, only because they stooped to that level, did they come out now with a refreshed anti-racist culture. Well, I am not saying that something as big as jew elimination needs to happen for gambling but at least half a dozen people going broke and bankrupt losing everything they have and then some would serve as a good reminder for the locals to not engage in it.

That's just what I think.
14  Other / Meta / DT2 and DT1 on: January 26, 2021, 05:09:02 AM
Can someone explain to me how the DT2 works?
I do not want to get on that list or anything I just need to know whom I can put in my trust settings, I don't necessarily like some of the dt1 members but I trust some dt2 ones more than anyone else on this forum.

I have not played around with my trust settings before but I am about to conduct some business on this forum and I think this would be a good time for me to start actively using this trust system.

I am guessing Depth 0 is for myself and default trust only

But who are these people in the default trust? Dt1 people? or both dt1 and dt2?

Under Depth 1

some of these names are stricken out.

Why? how does one get their names struck out? or how to prevent it from getting struck?

Depth 2

Same question as for this depth, why strike out? how and how not to?

One more thing, what are those numbers in the brackets? What does it mean? High good? or low good?

I bet the jets to win and I won Smiley

I got all my bets money back and all my bar tab money back lol

wow congrats buddy. How much did you win?
The jets are looking strong this season so far so the odds must be on a downtrend these days.

I bet $10 on jets @ +1100 and won $110 paid $120..

Spent $70 on bets and $50 at the bar (big tip)..
Broke even basically..

Made 6 bets and only won one but it covered all..
HA!!

Thanks!!
Was fun!!

Still wanna arb this place if I can..

I do not get the betting culture lol was the bartender a hot Scandinavian girl?
Tell me something, would fan tokens (like PSG/JUV/BAR/ATM etc - that I am discussing in my other thread) have any real impact on small online and offline bets like these?
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Football fan token impact from $PSG $BAR $ATM $JUV on crypto gambling community on: December 21, 2020, 01:28:50 AM
So its trending already PSG and JUV getting listed through Binance Launchpool. People on Bitcoinpub are talking about it, I've seen a few threads on the Altcoin discussion tab already but all of them are about the investment prospect and long term viability about the tokens. They aren't talking about what kind of impact would the crypto gambling scene have with the introduction of these coins.

I am not very active on the forum these days, this is just by my research in the past few hours. Correct me if I am wrong, have any pre-established gambling platforms like stake or nitrosports (or whatever's legit these days) posted any announcements of starting to accept these?

hehehe yaah I created one of those threads. It is not that popular yet, only 9 or 10 replies. But I understand what you mean. There are some ama telegram groups that are going crazy about this. I don't think they would ever do an ama about these coins with the club presidents or players, but if they did that would be super cool!

don't get all perked up for nothing it ain't THAT popular of a thread yet. But yes, I've noticed some chatter about these tokens as well. Although I cannot find any links to any chat groups about these tokens. Do any of you know where I can find it?

Well the fan tokens do not have their own chat groups (yet) but you can talk about all of these fan tokens that Chiliz is bringing on their telegram https://t.me/chiliz_io
They officially call themselves Chiliz/Socios.com ($CHZ) - English Official so I guess this also represents Socios as well.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: December 21, 2020, 01:20:23 AM
DOGE is a useless coin, don't holdit. Better yet buy one of the newer coins being launched these days with the bull run, you stand to make more money that way.
In a way the defi trend pulled crypto out of the cryptowinter so your best bet is the defi world. Not some BS crap dogecoin.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto has made it to mainstream! Football clubs PSG and JUV have their own coin on: December 21, 2020, 01:18:55 AM
PSG and JUV are not that big of a name if you think about it. Call me when Arsenal, Manchester United or Liverpool has a coin lol
They are having a lot of fans too. It's not about the team that was coming from the premier league lol

You should wait until this trend will become massive and those team will be releasing their own fan tokens lol
It's also these coins were not issuing by the club officially. I just hope any football club will try to considere to release their fan tokens

This is official buddy. Some are even saying they saw it being advertised on their TVs in banners during the matches in these lockdown times. Football clubs do not have the technical clout and manpower to pull off a proper software launch (which cryptocurrency is in a sense) so they must have partners and these Socios and Chiliz are just that, partner companies. If this was not officially done, no way they could have launched them.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does DappRadar need $2.3 million dollars? on: December 21, 2020, 12:58:29 AM
$2.3 million is not really that big for a project, but as if investors realise its potential they don’t mind putting huge amount of money for a project probably they know what they’re doing and they understand the risk. Dappradar is a good platform they could have been first in space to offer that kind of service.

I am sorry to have to dig up this old thread again but I kinda told you so. A year down the line and Dapp radar is basically invisible. No way they needed that 2.3 mil.
