They need marketing. They need strong community. I don't know if it is a hidden 💎 or it is going down. Really hard to say. They are still developing, but due lack of strong community, they are not able to be listed on any big exchange. Just look at current liquidity of this project, it is ridiculously low.

I have a little amount of my portfolio in it, and I think it has enormous potential, because they won't focus only on cars, but at real estate as well. It seems to be huge step forward for all crypto enthusiast to diversify their portfolios.

I've heard that they already hired someone for marketing. This person has a lot of work to do.

Great to see that team is still developing their project. Marketing is not as efficient as it should be, but still it seems to be a good project.

Spent lots of time to read about Curio Invest, their partners, watched their keynote. They have great idea, they have well functioning website and dex. Everything looks fine, but are we going to the moon? It's hard to say. 2M supply is relatively small for this project. Moreover, they are going to add real estate in 2021. It could be game changer. Just imagine, you can buy a percent of flat and take profit every month/year, etc.

I have nice portfolio of alts, which are in TOP100. I won't tell why I invest, because you can find news/development plan/community of these project everywhere. It's $DOT $ATOM $ANT $WAVES. Big guys.

But I'm trying to invest in chance with pretty small capital. Less than 10% of my portfolio is in investments which are not as hot as the crypto at TOP100.

First of all:
$LTO - Great use cases, coming partnership with Chainlink, deflationary model, great leasing model (staking) and as for now this company works with Dutch Government, and lately they told about partnership with United Nations. They are not sleeping, they are working pretty fast.

$YFTE - It's risky, but as fork od YFDAI it has nice potential to grow. Limited supply, staking program and moreover swap platform which will work with Binance Smart Chain.

$CUR - Woah, it can be more than huge. Only 2 milion supply, own bridges, own services, working with $DAI $KSM $DOT $ETH $ANT. Looking forward for better marketing actions from them, because they have plan to revolutionize collectible items, which will be tokenized. As for now they made one sale of Ferrari F12 TDF. If crypto market will grow, people would search alternative way to invest. Seems like perfect opportunity.

But as I wrote these projects are more risky, so I decided to put only some money on them.

I spent some time to read about this project. Seems very interesting. Great platform for further growth, they are working with some of the biggest chain and they know what is important in this "blokchain world". Moreover they use Aragon DAO, which for me is one of the most powerful project.

I found some cons:
- They have no clear roadmap.
- They made only one item sell (F12 TDF).
- Liquidities on their pools are relatively small
- Telegram and TT is not as active as it should be for that kind of project.

On the other hand there is a plenty great things about it.

-NFT/Tokenization market has great future IMHO
-Crypto investors are often looking for way to diversification their funds. Of course, if you are a big 🐳 you can buy F12 TDF, even for a crypto money. But there is such terrible things like insurance, taxes, transportation, etc. etc. etc. Tokenization of real items can be very big. Even if you are smaller investor it's still great way to protect your funds, and avoid the volatility of the market.
- Token supply is awesome. It's made for collectible, often luxurious things. Moreover, there is a bridge between Curio token and Curio governance tokens, so I guess it's kind of deflationary supply, but if I am wrong, it would be great to hear bout it.
- AMC/KYC is not what DeFi loves, but here it's great. It can protect your investment and everything looks very transparent.
- Still not listed on any big exchange.
- Partnership with $LINK, works with $DOT and $KSM, based on $ETH. Pretty nice for me.
- Staking is cooooming.
- Real estate are coming during 2021'

It's always hard to find gem, but every year gives us lots of them.

Everybody are talking about BTC ride, about ETH ride, etc, but 2020 was also great for DeFi projects. Just look at price of YFI at the beginning, and look on ATH. UNI/LINK/RUNE. These coins gave possibility to earn some money. Previous year was also nice for Theta and Tfuel and GRT (Ico price about $0.03, first days on Binance and it hit almost $0.80).

But was it really easy to find them? Of course no. You need to dig in forums/YT/reddit/github/4chan, wherever you want to get info about projects. You can be lucky guy, and make big money with almost no research, but as long as you spend some time on gathering info you will feel more conifident on this market. And that one is really brutal. Now everything is green and everybody are happy, but just look at historical snapshots on coinmarketcap. Lots of project which were on TOP100 are dead. My friends lost really big money on 2017 bubble, do not be like them

Going back to topic. How to find gem on 2021? First of all, projects with really strong community. If community is big and hyped even project with some lacks are able to pump very hard. Best way to look at the communities? Twitter/Reddit/4Chan and some guys on YT, listen what they say, read comments.

Second usability. I wouldn't go into any project without any use cases, without clear roadmap, and without any history. Remember 'bout it. Maybe it is not hidden gem, i do not now yet, but check LTO Network. Lately about top200, still small marketcap, interesting use cases on their website, and they already work with Dutch&Belgium governments. Read their blog, whitepaper and roadmap. Maybe it is not perfect, but as for smaller mcap than top100 it looks very nice.

Third one, but as i think it should be the first one- strategy. Whithout any strategy do not put any money on this market. You need to have clear strategy. What if your coin go 20x? Would you be waiting for x100 or you would like to secure your profits. How to secure them? Would you like to get USD stable coins or you'd like to invest profits on BTC or ETH?

Think about loses too. I've put some money lately into a project which went down from 3.8$ to 1.98$ without any reason. Sold some of that coins, put into different project and i'm almost on 0. It doesn't bother me, because i have different coins at my portfolio which get my net worth up.

My top 5 picks are:

DOT - New project with huge potential, but even more, coins which are related to DOT may be able to make nice growth.
PHA - Related to DOT. As everything will be fine, it should give a DOT and KSM great functionality, mainly about privacy.
RSR - As a nice project for countries with high inflation. I saw lots of documentaries and vlogs about Venezuela, and something like RSR would be healing for those people.

LTO Network - I strong believe in this company. They have good idea, and they are developing their portfolio all the time. As for now they are working with Dutch&Belgian Governments. Lots of use cases on their website. Moreover, as you buy LTO you can lease them for pools/companies and you are able to take profits from that.

ETH - BTC is breaking ATH all the time, and there is me still waiting for ETH ATH. Moreover ETH 2.0 went live on December. Remember that the biggest news are able for us to see them in price in long term.

You said very important thing. Social distance! I like to think about lots of solution from every situation, but going back to Gold or Silver as a payment method is unlikely to me. The world has changed for the last 30, 50 and even 100 years. Even the Pandemic will go away in happy scenario, people will want have safe and very comfy payment methods. Gold and Silver aren't best solution for our times.

Cannot wait to see what's going to happen in the next 3-5 years...

After the last crisis planty of startups were made. They changed our world (Airbnb, Uber, Visa/Mastercard explosion, etc.). Now I guess it's time for something new. It is unlikely that we will see huge gains in this year, but in '21 or '22 we can be eye-witnesses of revolution.

Now I'm starting to buy and HODL everything. I will try to find the best "unicorns" and for now I'm trying with 1st ADA investment.

Of course, you are right. People still belive in FIAT currencies, but the value of FIAT currency is mainly based on trust for the government. I think, that world is going to stop for another 3-4 months before everything goes back to "normal". This will cause things, that even not-educated people will see (inflation, more expensive credits, less things in shops, etc). People will try to find new asset which will help them to "safe" their money. There is not enough gold and silver on this planet for everyone... But there is different situation with crypto.

I think that Bitcoin is like Ford "T" for automotive. It showed us the way, but we are not able to use it in everyday life. ETH is like 2000s" Cars. It is more stable, faster, cheaper and scalable, but after the 2017 hype it is starting to become more useless. And now we need to look for cars like Tesla...

I'm not a heavy forum user, but I made some money on crypto during this 2017 run, of course this forum helped me a lot in this. Since then I stepped out from BTC/ALT markets and I sat mainly on money, now things are going to change. As you can see, world is in panic right now. It is not only about COVID-19 disease, but financial system is unstable. Almost all countries are giving "helicopter money" which is printed in huge amounts by governments and banks. Of course in short period of time - it will help, but as I can see in long-term it will cause the inflation, and it is going to "kill" middle class people. Why? 1st, inflation will decrease their saving, 2nd - interesting rates must go up to save the economy. It will make credits much more expensive than they are right now. 3rd - a lots of people will lose their job.

It was a quick recap, I don't want to write a science article about crisis, but that is very likely to happen.

What happens right now in safe assets?

Silver is "unglued" from paper value. Physical metal is much more expensive than paper equalities. Moreover, it is really hard to buy. Just check this out. Here in Middle-Europe where I am living, time for delivery is about 60 days. Prices with 24H avaliabilty are about 1.5x more expensive.


Gold, almost the same situation as with silver.



On the other hand we have cryptos. Cryptos with huge, but limited amount (I guess they are the most safe crypto's at all). Cryptos which can provide us a new payment methods. Cryptos which are available 24/7. Not like silver or gold. I think the world has changed dramatically since the latest crisises, so this one will be totally different than the others. People won't start paying in silver, and gold. I think that Satoshi was right. He created something genius.



I think that the only the best are able to survive. Now we're stepping into crypto decade. What are your thoughts about current situation and role which cryptos will play in this "New World"?



For now I picked two cryptos (XEL and ADA), because they have real value, and they are able to change the financial aspect of this world.

I guess that ANT won't be pumped in the near future, because as for now it looks like very stable coin.  I think it is great project with nice dev and co-workers. So it could be profitable coin for holders. I bought mine at 1.5$ and since i bought it is still on +.



Just check their site and roadmap. They can make something big...

Waves is a great company with very inteligent stuff. I think that Waves can get to 100$ but not in short period of time. I guess about 20-25$ since end of the year. My opinion- it's time to buy. Even if you lose you won't lose much money. But if waves shoot to the moon, lots of peeople will be rich

I went inside Aragon project and i think that OP could be right. They have great ideas and the most important - product which is upgrading by them all the time. The milestone list looks promising and real. There is one more great thing IMHO...

They are working in Estonia, it is small country with 1.3 milion people. It is great workplace for any ideas connected with changing elections/banks, etc. Because in small counry it will be easier. Moreover Estonia is very open for any tech changes. They were one of the first countries where elections were made through Internet...

I believe in this project and i hope that all Aragon team will change Estonia and show to the rest of world real power of Aragon
