61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality Projects Revival on: August 26, 2020, 11:59:14 AM
I was thinking about it so i thought to post about it here and discuss about this matter. Actually I have seen many good projects that either paused or cancelled there projects due to long bears market and decline of ICOs, I am talking about 2018 and onwards.
There were some good projects that got discouraged and closed the projects due to low or no funding in the bear market. My personal suggestion would be that the teams should consider reviving their projects now, modify them according to new market needs and then come up with a MVP and then start IEO or ITO as the market conditions seems to be improved now.
So what do you guys think about it?
Which projects or coins come to your mind that could have done well if they were able to raise decent funds?
Also if someone from the team of such projects reads this, he/she can share his thoughts and opinion too.

I would suggest IEO if the team members are still serious with the abandoned projects.  But the issue is that, most of the abandoned projects were not like that because of financial issue alone, most of them do not really have tangible things to offer initially. They want to gather some dollars from the investors and run away.  That's why they don't bother seeking for alternative ways of funding such projects when it crashed.  I believe those few genuine ones with true financial problem can come back and still get some support.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your Biggest Crypto Regret? on: August 26, 2020, 09:02:16 AM
Many people regret that they did not buy BTC while they first knew about it. For some, they did not sell BTC while they could. Roll Eyes

For me, I got MWC & HEX for free from airdrop to BTC HODLers, but dumped them before they peak. I could easily make 10x of my existing BTC, if I held them strong. Cry

What is your Biggest Crypto Regret?

I want to believe that, if everyone in the crypto space is asked about one regret or the other, definitely there would be one or two of such.  A friend once told me, you can't get things right always in the space.
Part of my regrets was when I sold some airdrops for just $15 and just a week later, the same amount of coin worth about $400.  Just a little patience from me, but I was too in a rush.  A little patience at times, can lead to a huge positive transformation.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Waves created token how good is it on: August 24, 2020, 09:43:07 AM
Is it still good to create a token in Waves I just created a token in Waves platform as an incentive to the forum that I am going to relaunch, I created Ethereum token in the past but with the very high fee and lag in the confirmation it's not recommended, I am down to Tron and Waves,
anyone here already created a token in Waves I am testing it so far the fee is very low and the transaction is very fast.

With the fact that it is very easy to create token on waves doesn't really make me to trust that block chain.  Sincerely, many scammers have made use of Waves to create fake tokens and scam people with it.  I've even tried some time to create a token there, but I just lost interest at the end of the day.  Waves is very easy for scamming.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Become Universal Money? on: August 24, 2020, 09:34:53 AM
if all countries accept the crypto I think it's impossible because each country has a legal basis legislation in different laws currencies that do not can be changed for the money eyes cryptocurrency could be the currency of all the countries I think is very difficult because there are many countries who see illegal cryptocurrency and unbelievably risky to be made tool payment for buying and selling value very quickly down and quickly rose so quickly.

I don't agree with the word impossible you have put.  In science and technology, we are always being careful to use the word 'impossible'. It may not be possible now, but we can't rule out the possibility later.  If we flash back to around 5 years later now, there has been increase in the number of countries trying to adjust their policies in order to incorporate crypto.  So it's very much possible later in life that crypto becomes global currency.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How possible is it to make a living trading cryptocurrencies alone? on: August 22, 2020, 11:13:25 AM
Can someone make it trading only altcoins?

It's very possible making a big living by trading crypto/altcoins alone.  I have few numbers of people doing full time job on crypto trading.  However, they do it on a big scale, they invest around $5,000 daily, and they get range of $500-$1000 daily ROI.  Anyone that will do such must be vast in trading knowledge and experience, because as you can gain double of your capital so you can lose everything within few hours.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: August 22, 2020, 07:31:56 AM
There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER

I think I am more of that #2.  I have created a lot interest in crypto trading, though with just some level of knowledge.  But Knowledge is what we seek on a daily basis, it cannot be too much.  I have also had some experience both good and bad in the industry and get more wisdom daily.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you agree to insure your participation in the bounty company? on: August 22, 2020, 07:15:20 AM
It looks, of course, it's a little fantastic, but why not. Imagine for a second that let's say, purely hypothetically, Lloyd Corporation, which has vast experience in insuring unusual and unique risks, offers bounty hunters to ensure their participation in a bounty company, for example, such a project as Cartesi. You pay a fee, depending on the risk, and in return, you receive guarantees of payment of remuneration for the work done, even in the event of a bounty failure. It is interesting to hear your opinion, do you agree to such conditions? Something similar would apply to investors.

It sounds convincing though, but what has gotten bounty participation to do with insurance.  Paying some amount for bounty insurance is just a cunning way of gathering some funds from the hunters.  Does payment of bounty at the end of the day guarantee a good listing price?  The insurance I think they should do is to guarantee reliable listing price, at least the base price they used to target at the beginning of the bounty.  If that doesn't occur, the hunters should be paid to make up to that price.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where Are You Next 5 Years? on: August 20, 2020, 10:55:29 AM
Hey.

You Think What Is Your Placement In The Crypto Currency In The Next 5 Years?

How Many Money You Earned That Time?

And What Do You Want To Do With Your Earning? Cool

Well, in the next five years, I want to learn more as much as I can in the crypto space, especially trading.  I belief increase in Knowledge will also give me a potential increase in earnings.  In the next five years, I want to make it big in crypto than this.
What will I do with my earnings in the next five years?
What comes up at each stage of life will determine what I will do with the earning.  But as for me, I want to invest in physical properties I can see.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH LimiteD, Ponzi scheme project from Vietnam on: August 19, 2020, 03:18:54 PM
Hi,

I found MLM scam project named "ETH LIMITED", based on Vietnam. Operating model based on Ponzi mechanism. The multi-level system is paid a lot of commissions for market development.

Be careful!

Updated:

Site: https://eth.limited/. It is developed and operated in Vietnam.
I have been following it for 2 months now. And the details as below:

Company
Initially, it took the name of a company in India with the name ETH LIMITED to operate. Phone number +91 20 4016 2323.
Recently, it took the name of a company in the United Kingdom with the name ETHEREUM TECHNOLOGY GROUP LIMITED. https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/12661463.
The company is anonymous, so is the owner.

Partnership
Fake cooperation programs with TrustWallet, Huobi, Coinbase, imToken. I did not find any cooperation information from these partners.

Too Good To Be True
Staking up to 15% per month. And there is no information about ELD tokens.

MLM Commision
There are many commissions paid in the project.
Binary Income: 10%.
MULTI-TIER SYSTEM COMMISSIONS: F1: 10%, F2: 5%, F3: 3%, F4~F11: 1%.
DIRECT BONUS: F1: 5%, F1: 8% (Have 3 F1 & Minimum total investment of 3F1 is equal to your investment package), F1: 10% (Have 6 F1 & Minimum total investment of 6F1 is equal to your investment package)
LEVELS: E0 ~ E4, bonus up to 5%.

Refer: https://eth.limited/static/Eth.Limited.pdf

Thanks for sharing the info.  There are just numerous crypto related ponzi schemes out there.  We should be careful of scheme asking you for referral levels and promising that if you donate 1 ETH, in the next 3 or 4 days, it will be doubled.  Recently, there was million money ponzi scheme asking people to buy 0.4ETH into trustwallet and earn around 4ETH within a week.  Let's be more careful.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sports Industry taking over the Crypto space on: August 19, 2020, 03:14:24 PM
Anyone here heard about Chilliz and the partnerships they have been signing recently. I beleive the sport industry is going to take over the crypto space sooner or later because i see a great movement in what they are building. They have signed partnership with so many big Footbal clubs and i am so excited with what they are building.

It's a good step in direction, and this is part of exciting news we like to listen to.  We want competition among industries and institutes in crypto adoption. This will in turn put smile on the face of those in the crypto industry.  We don't just want this to remain at the level of news or signing of agreement alone, but implementation.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This beach resort is accepting Ethereum!!! on: August 18, 2020, 07:40:23 PM
Holy smokes! Look at this guys!

Source: https://decrypt.co/?p=38262

Imagine if COVID-19 pandemic is no more and having travel plans to South Korea, we could visit this beach and pay Ethereum for entrance fee, etc. I just wish that this is not going to be the only beach resort to adopt Ethereum for payments.

Here in the Philippines, there are so many beaches and hidden paradise here. I just hope that one day these beaches around the world are going to adopt Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies.

This is a welcome development.  More adoption and usage of cryptocurrencies is what we desire.  I'm so optimistic that more leisure centres and other institutions will do the same.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anybody else joined the PI network yet on: August 18, 2020, 03:54:14 PM
This is the site for it, https://minepi.com/ It basically is a new alt coin that mines on your phone its getting big in china for some reason, You need a beta invite code to get access to it which is just my username if you wanna check it out, Its on IOS, Seems cool.

For your information, Pi is not really a new alt coin like that.  I have got to know about it since last year.  I downloaded the app and started mining.  But when I didn't see any hope of a particular time of withdrawal, I uninstalled the app.  It was recently that fresh news began to surface about the mining of Pi again.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to Linear Finance on: August 17, 2020, 01:47:03 PM
Well, I'm not against the development actually. We want new things that makes more sense. I don't really see much improvement or characteristics so different from those in existence before.  Just hearing about Li anyway, may be as times go on, there could be better awareness about it.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's happening with Bitcoin & altcoins? on: August 17, 2020, 01:37:35 PM
i dont know if the OP knows what he's talking about? he's saying about btc to be in the $10k level but we are already more than $11k and actually reached $12k in some exchanges. so what is he trying to say here? is he just posting crap without checking whats going on in the market?  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Exactly, I think the same way.  Talking about BTC struggling to reach $10K when BTC was at $12K mark.  It was beyond many peoples expectations that BTC will even cross $10k after the halving when we have expected price drop.  Increase in the price of ETH could actually be due to the advent of ethereum 2.0.   Price of other good altcoins will also improve, it's just a matter of time. The ultimate speculation is that, next year could probably be another bull run.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uniswap Listings on: August 16, 2020, 01:09:11 PM
If you don't know about it yet I will tell you now, people are changing their lives every day by getting in early on Uniswap projects, literally have to buy within the first hour of launch and know about the project pre launch.

This is becoming a mania but there is still a lot of money to be made, I got in with a project called Trustswap (SWAP) at $0.03 and it's currently $0.73 and going strong. I've made 6 figures from this but I got lucky as I was randomly told about it in a Telegram group.

My point is if you hear about a project with a good team and whitepaper which is pre launch then post it in here, there is life changing money to be made right now let's help each other make it.

When a project is posted in here we will decide as a group if it's a legit solid project and then decide whether to go for it or not.

Let's go team, let's change our lives..

I have been keeping tracks of the projects listed on Uniswap too, from there I can see many of them are worth investing in.  I've participated in some projects that later got listed on uniswap and I didn't regret I did.  I think it's a good exchange to watch out for in some times to come.
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you trade if you won't leave your coins on exchange on: August 16, 2020, 12:57:59 PM
We are told several times on this forum never to leave your coins on exchange, well I know the difference about low rated exchanges and high rated exchanges and I know that many traders prefer high rated exchanges for trading because of volume and Liquidity but my point is there is no way to be a trader without your coins sleeping in exchange wallets, why? Because sometimes while you are asleep bitcoin can hit a new price target.

For example BTC is trading at 8000$ and I put up a sell order at 9000$, most times this won't happen in an instant, sometimes you wake up the next day and your order became successful isn't it? Now for those saying 'don't leave your coins on exchanges' how do you trade?

Trading your coins and/or tokens on exchanges doesn't mean you should leave your asset on the exchanges.  You can have your coins in your app wallet address or hard wallet, then transfer it to exchange when you are ready for the trading.  If you are thinking of transfer gas fee, then that's far less comparable to what you stand to lose if such exchange e.g. Vindax is hacked.
77  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in your ability to earn more. on: August 16, 2020, 12:46:52 PM
With your skills you can earn. You can earn without any hard work. For that you need to be a crypto investor. You have to keep in mind that you will benefit if you invest in a coin or token by constantly monitoring the market. No experience is required for this. You just have to understand the market signal. Again you can invest in exchanger on any new token.
I want to be a good investor.
Do you want to be a good investor? Do you agree with me?

I found the write up funny though.  Saying no experience is needed in crypto investment is far from the truth.  Even if you study the price of a coin from now till eternity, if you invested in a poor project, then you will just continue to monitor shit with almost zero price.  Then I want to advice you if you're a newbie investor, you have to be very careful of the new coins, choose carefully.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest cryptocurrency wallets on: August 12, 2020, 01:11:29 PM
Cryptocurrencies can be kept online or offline. If the cryptos are kept on the exchange platforms or other online platforms, it can be lost due to hacks.

So it is important to choose the best wallets that are safe and secure. Please help me in choosing the safest cryptocurrency wallets

At least it's good you have some bit of knowledge on some basic wallets and how they function.  That's a basic place to start.  But if you are a newbie investor, you need to know more about some safest wallets to use.  App wallets are safe to some extent.  For big investors, they make use of hard wallets.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be the investor that made that fortune or not? on: August 12, 2020, 12:57:37 PM
DeFi projects are actually making a lot of waves in the market now.  Investors see it as a new way of making quick money or profit.  It's actually an investment opportunity for everyone.  However, we need to invest in the good ones, not those created by the scammers.  My little investment in Oikos cash is really paying me well now.  You can also give it a trial.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm dumping my coins because.. on: August 11, 2020, 06:25:23 PM
I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

Definitely, there are fleets of reasons why people dump their coins.  Personally as a bounty hunter, I'm not used to the aspect of selling bounty reward immediately after distribution. I still give it some time to look at the development, especially projects that has potential.  But at times, financial constraints has been one of my major reasons of selling some coins against my will.  Another reason is untrustworthy project teams.  When you observe that the team behind a particular project are not serious with the developmental procedures, then you don't need wasting time holding such coin, better let it go to get a better one.
