Regulation is partially good and partially bad, cryptocurrency should be decentralized and when regulation set in then it has forfeit it's purpose of it being decentralized, regulation is good partially in order to protect investors from scammers.

It's very possible, if you are careless how to keep your private key, it is possible you easily get hacked also clicking on phishing link can lead to your wallet being hack. i have never fall victim of hack because i guard my private key seriously and i never expose it to third party. |

It seems some upcoming projects are also promising to introduce stable coins. Is it possible to have more stable coins on the crypto market? What would really happen if we get more stable coins on the crypto market, would the volatility reduce?
Stable coins have been in the space for quite sometime and in the year 2018 more were launched in the crypto spaece, at that it hasn't reduce the volatility of cryptocurrency, adding more stable coins will not make cryptocurrency stable so more stable coins is not needed. |

That will be a disaster if bitcoin drop back to $1000 many coin will die. bitcoin at that price no starter will dare to collect fund because it won't be successful, bitcoin hasn't drop that low and ico couldn't reach softcap, what will happen if bitcoin is that low. No more fund raising untikky bitcoin recovers.

While i observe the approach in which is deployed to raise fund for starters, it is obvious ico has fade out already. Nobody is talking about ieo for fund raising for starters anymore 90% of starters are making use of ieo currently.

After 2017 max ICO profits, ICO has since then been a high target for scammers but alas ICO will still survive on the long run ,bitorrent and fetch.ai has proven that, many investors are now getting smart and extremely more careful ,its really a good thing ,before we know it the scam rate will get lower and scammers won't make a dime from ICO anymore. I think action speaks more than words,no one wants to lose money to scam projects anymore so they are forced to learn how to spot good projects to invest in. Warning doesn't work but investors losing money does makes them learn.
Firstly bittorent didn't do ico but ieo, yes scammers aren't targeting ico anymore now their attention have sifted to ieo, if you check the forum you will see a lot of ieo flying here and there, the lasting solution is regulation. |

So, as you guys know, most coins will do swap when they perform blockchain upgrades or changing the coins to to a new coin
I just forgot about one of my coins and the swap was ended in the 31st of December
and guess what?
I just lost 0.3 btc because of it
God damn this is so painful
Been holding the coins since 2 year ago in the ICO stage
Never make such mistake guys remember
If you can't follow a project closely it's better to sell off than to lose money, i watch all my asset closely because of incident like this, there is nothing bad in having many assset but you must be ready to watch it closely. |
