I just put up a *very beta* european server. Connect to eu.middlecoin.com:3333. It's in Ireland.
Tell me if it works, or doesn't. If you mine on it, make sure your hashrate on the webpage doesn't drop to zero, or do anything funky.
The main server can't fully handle the new hash power, and is shutting down for 30 seconds every hour or so. So I'm hoping this will alleviate that.

The payout tonight might be late. No more than an hour or two though, if at all. I need to manually move balances from unexchanged to exchanged.
|
|
|
The unexchanged balance on the website isn't very accurate right now. I have to update the exchange rate manually, and I don't do that very often. So don't trust it 100%.
The question is which way is it inaccurate, too much or too little (One can hope...) It's too much right now I think.

Sorry for not being very active on the forum today. And on IRC. I've been busy and will be for a while.
If you sent me a PM in the last couple of days, I'll get to it at some point.

Since we've been mainly on LTC for most last night and this morning, I hope we are having better luck than the day above. Any way of telling us what the luck has been on LTC?
53.6% We were on LTC because of cryptsy deposit issues and I didn't want to stockpile too much of some currencies.
|
|
|
True. I am waiting for my LTC deposit for over 12 hours now!!!
The cryptsy admin is in vegas for the bitcoin conference. So I'm sure it will be sorted out soon. I made sure it wasn't a fork or anything.

Is there any reason why no 'unexchanged' coins have been exchanged in the past 5-6 hours?
H2O, please respond. Unchanged coins are piling up and balance has been flat-lining today. There is an issue with cryptsy deposits. I'm looking into it.

Is there any downside or performance hit if i use a distinct payout address for each rig? There is no performance hit. The only downside is that you'll get separate payouts, which could increase your bitcoin transaction fees later down the road, when you send your bitcoins somewhere.

|
|
That's the API for the blockchain.info wallet, which I don't use. I use "bitcoind sendmany ..."

payout question: last night I received a payment of about 0.004 btc. In the blockchain android app it states that the transaction fee was 0.005 btc. Of course this suprised me, but by looking at the blockchain website it seems this is the total fee for all the payouts of last night, not just for mine.
Can someone confirm this interpretation?
Yeah. That's the fee for the entire transaction. For all of last night's payout. The fee was 0.0057 BTC.

Whats going on with middlecoin? All the BTC dissapeared?
The webpage report is wrong because cryptsy is down. I should really cache those exchange rates, for generating the report.

What's happening with the stuck funds is that there are 509 immature ANC, and 824 mature ANC unnacounted for, that I am trying to track down. It may be the case that they were already exchanged for bitcoins, or they might be in a possibly corrupt wallet file. Either way, I'll pay those funds out when I find out.
The bug that may have exchanged the funds without moving them over from "immature" to "mature" to "balance" has been fixed.
Also, there is some WDC on cryptsy that is frozen.

H2O, any word on the earnings drop this weekend? Altcoins have regained some of the ground lost but doesn't seem earnings gone up.
Part of it was a performance issue in one of my pools, which I have since fixed.

I'm using guiminer
You need to be using guiminer-scrypt, or some other scrypt-capable miner.
|
|

How often is the frontpage updated? Been mining for roughly 10 hours now but I'm not showing up on the page yet. My miner did accept several shares.
It updates every 5 minutes or so. I don't see any shares submitted by your address. Either accepted or rejected.

H20, what do you think of this. And is it technicaly not to complicated? it could dramaticly improve incoms no?
I looked at doing this a while ago, and wrote a lot of the code to do it. But it turned out to be a lot harder than I thought. I'll probably revisit it at some point. There are other priorities for now.

Hashcows and other similar coin exchanging pools are seeing the same issues with growing immature and unexchanged with stagnant balances. It looks like the exchanges are FUBAR again and it's effecting everyone.
That too. specifically, the cryptsy WDC market is lagged. Among others.

Done. In addition, could you also set the table head in <thead>? It is currently listed in the <tbody>.
Ok, I added thead and tbody tags. I'm not sure what that did though. It looks the same in chrome.

Is that normal for this pool, with a speed of 400 KH/s
Yes. You'll only get a share every minute or 2. And the current coin is generating blocks pretty fast right now.
