Still having shares stop submitting after ~20 minutes like clockwork. No actual freeze with cgminer, just shares no longer get submitted at all, even as it continues to hash away.
Is no one else experiencing this? It's not on my end, I ruled out pretty much every variable, tried different versions of cgminer, et al. Something had to have changed server side, and it affects uswest, useast, and eu at the least (I didn't try asia). Tried a different address- same deal.
Meanwhile testing on other pools and it's fine. Hashcows for instance has no issues as far as this symptom goes.
I saw that someone on twitter has the same issue. How many people are experiencing this? Do you get rejected shares, or cgminer just stops submitting them? Edit: Could it be an issue with having a difficulty of 1024? Did it happen at the same time as that change, or later? |

The database was stalled this morning, and the stats are taking a while to update. It will be about an hour until the stats are updated again.

I noticed some problems today (and fixed them) with the EU server, so it's still considered beta.
I've added two new beta servers, so we now have:
uswest.middlecoin.com:3333 in Oregon (same as middlecoin.com currently)
useast.middlecoin.com:3333 in N. Virginia beta
eu.middlecoin.com:3333 in Ireland beta
asia.middlecoin.com:3333 in Singapore beta
They all switch coins, just like the original US server. After beta ends, middlecoin.com will point to the server with the lowest latency to you. So you don't need to mess with your miner config at all if you don't want to participate in the beta.
If you use a beta server, be sure to have a failover server because I might need to take them offline if they have issues.
Also, don't use --no-submit-stale. On any server. When we coin switch with the new non-disconnecting tech, cgminer thinks some shares are stale when they are not.

Sometimes charts are generated with skewed data when data is missing. Am I correct to assume the broken parts of the chart won't be regenerated later? Or is the data at fault and it's impossible to get the chart corrected?

When you make a bitcoin transaction, there is always an extra bit leftover that goes back into your wallet. In this case, that extra bit happened to be large, due to the way the "coins" in the wallet were arranged.

The US server now has the new code, which doesn't disconnect on coin switches. It's bugged to have 1% extra rejects, which show up as "duplicate shares".

To answer some questions:
This is my fulltime job. I work way more than 40 hours a week. I also have two part time employees. It would be nice to hire more, but there are trust issues, so I only work with friends.
The address 1xowiTAdUeux71ExGmSW6qK5FPrGDa3Mp is a transaction "refund".
The US pool isn't any worse than it was before. It's just switching more, which is fine except for the disconnects it's causing.
I'm close to finishing the new tech that doesn't disconnect on coin switches, but it's losing 0.6% of hashrate due to a bug. It might be worth rolling out anyway, with this bug.

I´m experiencing the same problem as darksmoke. Hashrate ok, but no moves in immature, unchanged or balance.

The EU server is now mining straight litecoin.
It's not coin switching like the US server, and was just mining straight doge before now, but that's become less profitable until the diffiiculty adjusts.
The current plan is:
1. Fix the US server so that it doesn't disconnect people on coin switches. ETA: sunday
2. Clone the whole US server setup to the EU server, so they will be identical. ETA: monday
I'd suggest either moving to the US server, if your ping isn't too bad, or switching to another pool for the time being, or just waiting it out until I fix up the EU server.

are you looking to launch any server instances in the Sydney region as well as there are a number of Australian miners who would appreciate a regional hub to use.
First I'm going to fix up the EU server, then I'm setting up either Toyko, Singapore, or Hong Kong. Then I'll look at other places like Australia. |

The EU server isn't very profitable at the moment. It's constantly mining DOGE.
If you have less than 250 ms ping to the US server, I suggest mining there, even though you get disconnects on coin switches.
I'll be upgrading the EU server to switch coins just like the US server within the next couple of days.

I've got a question for H20...Do you have a preference or does it affect the pool in anyway as to what server we mine on? Would there be any pros/cons for me to load balance my rigs across the US and EU servers?

The US pool is more profitable, but has frequent disconnects. So if you have a large ping to the US server, or cgminer is unstable because of the disconnects, use the EU server. Otherwise stick with the US server. The EU server is constantly on DOGE for the time being. The disconnects will be fixed within a few days. They occur on coin switches, and I'll be rolling out some new code to do it cleaner. |

H2o: what's with the "exchange down" under the unexchange balances? Haven't seen that before.
It just means that the server generating the stats is having trouble getting exchange rates from an exchange. The pool server seems to be getting exchange rates fine though. I'm not sure what's up. Hopefully it resolves itself. |
