381  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: October 10, 2017, 04:50:24 AM
Try both. Investing is good. Some coins in the market aren't ripe yet so it takes years before you see their growth. When you see the coins, you should classify these coins according to their class. Some are good for long term investment, some are good for short investment (meaning less than a year of holding) and some are for day trading. But all methods will give you a good profit as long as you know what you are doing. Sometimes even if you know what you are doing, you can lose. Just study the market. And you can try all. Just trade with caution. Market is very risky. Remember that.
382  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: October 10, 2017, 03:18:17 AM
Recently, i often see discussion about Bitcoin Bank. More and more people come here and ask about bitcoin bank & surprisingly i see few user agree with this idea.
So, i would like to find out the percentage of user who agreed with this idea.

Honestly, i think this idea is stupid and worst idea that i've seen in my life. What do you think?
p.s. we don't talk about bitcoin debit card OR any centralized service which only ask name and email address.

I am interested in this idea. Since it is very common now that there are a lot of reported incidents about scam and hacked Bitcoins. So for those who do not know how to store their BTCs or for some who don't want to stressed their minds on taking care of their BTCs, maybe this is the good answer.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: October 09, 2017, 01:21:14 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010? I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.

I've not heard Bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010, but if that happened I would definitely grab the opportunity to enter the market no matter what. I've heard it last year but I just ignored it telling to myself that it is just something that could be forgotten after a few years. But I was wrong. After a year it got so popular like its like a fire who spread so fast. And I do really regret on not paying close attention to my friend who introduced it to me. I can't turn back time so that will be my greatest regret for my entire life.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: October 09, 2017, 10:32:37 AM
For now we need both. Because of the prices of cryptos are not being stable, and not all crpytos even Bitcoin are acceptable all over the world, we need both. Though we expect in the future that cryptocurrencies will be better to our conventional currency today because of their features that will change our economy. Conventional money are still important because they are the one who is accepted by all establishments in the world.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: October 09, 2017, 09:39:07 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.

I experienced that. One of my friend had knew that I am a trader of Bitcoin. And he laughs at me telling that what I am doing is illegal. And I got a little bit annoyed because he's telling something that he don't have any proof at all. Knowing he didn't know what about Bitcoin. So when you experienced that, just stay easy. Stay calm. Anyway, they are the ones who lost the opportunity not you.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it risky to turn all my money to bitcoins? on: October 09, 2017, 05:47:03 AM
Everything you invest has its own risk. When you buy all your money with Bitcoin, it might get hacked. Or what if one day you need money, a big amount of money. So you have no choice but to sell your Bitcoin. What if the price of Bitcoin is lower when the time you bought. You sell at loss. You do not want that to happen. right? So I suggest, invest your excess money. Money that you won't be able to get in a long term. Diversify is the key. Left something for a short term use, and invest something for long term purposes.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: October 08, 2017, 05:39:53 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

I am not pursuing to be so rich. I just want to have a convenient life with my family. I mean , life that money is not a problem when we want to travel, buy things we need and want. As of now, I earned not much because I am just new here. But it is a good money though. A good extra income for me. I haven't lose anything yet since I haven't sell my Bitcoins and other alts at loss.
388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 07, 2017, 01:45:14 PM
Well, if you're out of trading because they do not have time for it, maybe it was the right reason. but, if you're out for losing, I guess it's not an excuse. Well, we've all lost trading, but, if you want to improve yourself professionally in trading, then you need to keep trying, no matter how many times you lose.

Right. We all lose big time, but doesn't mean you have to stop. Or else you have something in your mind that you may do to earn income. Trading is very risky, before you enter in trading you have to know that. Trading is very risky. If your only reason is that you loss a large amount, that is not right. It means you have to study what you have done wrong in order not to repeat your mistake.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Trading Truly Profitable on: October 07, 2017, 09:07:47 AM
It is obvious that it is, but the problem is how in general make trading profitable. In fact you can trade anything, and a lot of people try to trade.
Why we only see the successful traders, and why? Because nobody with the unsuccessful history wont show us their lose it is natural.
How to succeed in trading? A lot of training, constant looking for hot news, knowing all strategies and charts types and then you will maybe become a profesional(for-profit) trader.

Definitely profitable. But you can lose thousands of your money if you are not careful on what you're going into. You are right about your advice. In trading, it's not just riding a bike. It need a lot of reading and practice. Also, you have to keep updated about the news. Traders/Manipulators are there when there is a hot news about certain coin. But you have to be careful.
390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 07, 2017, 05:06:52 AM
Its not practical and wise to put all your money in one basket that is why I never put everything in bitcoin though bitcoin has the higher percentage in my portfolio I see to it that I also invest in altcoins to diversify my money and to gain more profit.

Exactly. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. DIVERSIFY it. Buy some of your Bitcoin with altcoins so that they can multiply in number when your invested alt gets pump. When you just put all your money in Bitcoin, yes it will increase in value but it won't increase in number.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: October 07, 2017, 02:57:12 AM
BTC might just be the new era of currency but it will still stay as an asset for a while longer. It would be good to see BTC goes mass adapt and everyone can go cashless. BTC is improving years after years, slowly but surely!

Totally agree. This will be the new era of currency, but for now we consider it as an speculative asset (because of price increase and decrease). We hope that everybody may accept and use Bitcoin in the future and enjoy a cashless payment method. But that would be a long way journey for Bitcoin.
392  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: October 06, 2017, 03:04:48 PM
Definitely yes. When I first started in buying Bitcoin, I started from $3,500 and now Bitcoin is about $4,200 dollars. That's a pretty fast gain, right? As Bitcoin become popular and some countries are now accepting it as payment, the more people buy Bitcoin, the more its value increases.
393  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kung may isang milyong piso ka... on: October 06, 2017, 02:10:50 PM

Angels burger or Minute burger patok yun.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: October 03, 2017, 11:05:25 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

All of the category should be done. First, you should save money in bank for emergency purposes. So that you can access your funds anytime when you needed it. Second, invest it in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is so popular today and has a rapid increase in value. You don't wanna miss that opportunity, don't you? Third, when you earn a lot you invest in real estate. Because there are a lot that you can do in real estate. We do not know the future of Bitcoin, so it is better to have another source income. Then last, maybe you may consider in investing gold/silver. They are like Bitcoin that are depleting, so the less they have supply ,the more it increases in value.
395  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 02, 2017, 01:56:30 PM
I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?

It is a good way to grow your money in Bitcoin. But I am not in favor of putting all your money in Bitcoin. There are a lot of news and events that can happen to affect Bitcoin. Like what happen recently about the announcement of China. Many people got afraid and pull out their money. So I suggest to invest on what you can afford to lose.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: October 02, 2017, 01:35:53 PM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

Because for them it is illegal. Countries like Bangladesh , Bolivia, Ecuador and Kyrgyztan are not accepting Bitcoin. In my opinion, they do not want Bitcoin because of its decentralized characteristics and being anonymous. It is very alarming to government that they cannot control the monetary system in their country. And also when they cannot track it. Because it may use it in purchasing illegal activities or use it in money laundering.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin will control the world economy!!!!! is it true? on: October 02, 2017, 01:24:21 PM
Some media shows that bitcoin can be the next weapon to control the world economy. i think it is true and it will be seen soon.

As we expect to believe, People wants Bitcoin to be the replacement of our conventional currency. For me Bitcoin will have a long way journey for it to be accepted worldwide. And I believe on what you says, that is probable. Since we consider Bitcoin as money, and people who have a lots of money can do a lot of stuff to control. Then that is possible that Bitcoin can be use as a weapon to control the economy. And we can't tracked it who, because of its natural features as anonymity.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: October 02, 2017, 12:13:32 PM
It is now falling hard, but i think that it will be at a price of 3200 dollars at the end of 2017. For 2018 I think that it will surpass 4000 dollars. It will come to its original form.

Bitcoin maybe continue falling even to 2000 dollars it has the possibility to drop down. Its all about luck.
I was thinking price will end up at around $2,000 or $3,000. But with what I’m seeing now, it might fall down to $1,500 I guess. The price is down to around $3,000 and the next split which is on November is close. But anyway, let’s just watch the scene unroll itself.

November is the key here. Price is slowly recovering to reach again price above 4000 which can be good sign, but on other hand can be very bad cuz we have no idea now will any bad news if there were any influence on current recovery. I guess that all it had left is to wait November and from that point we will see that will be price stable or ups and downs.

Bitcoin price is now recovering. Because of a lot FUD news recently, Bitcoin price dumps. And we didn't expect that  specially what happened in Chine about its announces. But today Bitcoin is now coming to $4,500. And that's a good sign. Hopefully it will continue to recover.
399  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: October 02, 2017, 08:38:04 AM
Bitcoin is a good investment now because people wants some change. And on some countries, Bitcoin is legal. Because of the popularity of Bitcoin, its value is rapidly increasing. The more user, the more its value gets higher. If you are reading the news, most countries are now entering the crypto world, making them to create their own coins.
400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: October 02, 2017, 07:44:48 AM
Ethereum is really a good coin. If you always read articles or posts about comparing Ethereum with Bitcoin. Ethereum has many features than Bitcoin. And you notice that there are a lot of ethereum-based coin we have right now. You may create smart contract in ethereum blockchain. And it is faster than Bitcoin.
