1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: May 10, 2018, 04:20:59 AM
Do you have any intentions to change your Equihash algorithm before the Bitmain Z9 ASICs will be delivered?

I'm curious about that too Cheesy
The Dev probably haven't decided yet.
You might answer your preference on the twitter below.

Up more than 30% in the past 24 hours is quite rewarding for long-time GNT holders.
This is one of my favorite projects and I've been looking forward to the Brass release for some time now.
Patiently waiting for this coin to settle back at $1 with the possibility of being added to Coinbase Smiley

Yeah, and this is really a rise in value. Not some temporary pump.
Let's hope more good news come in the 25th April AMA session.

Is there any exchange has listed GNT?

Lots, Golem is one of the larger project.

Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptopia, Mercatox, etc.

I do not understand about AMA yet.
Please someone explain to me is it AMA Huh
And what is the benefit for the Golem project Huh
thank you

AMA = Ask Me Anything
The Dev Team of the Golem Project will try to answer the top questions from the reddit link that i gave above.
If you have questions about golem too, you can try to ask it there.

Next week's AMA session is very important for everyone to know what is next. This testing on Main Net has awoken up market and brought it back in competition once again. It was was expected to see quick increase and the another accumulation phase. New plans and their execution which will be revealed through Q&A is of my interest now to catch.
What date is AMA?

April 25th

Best case scenario in AMA will be if they can give clear road map of development, along with expected timeline.

Someone knows how to start earning some gnt on brass wallet? I have connected the wallet with 10 nodes since 2 days, with 70% availability.. Bit still no one accepted to use it, and i earned nothing.. Are there some problems? Anyone's can help?

Can someone post the URL in order to obtain this brass wallet?

Golem masternode set up instructions?

How many coins do we need to set up a masternode?

Thanks.

I have not installed it myself, but i don't think it's a masternode system.
Earning golem using brass will be by renting/selling the computing power you have. More akin to miner.
Considering it's just launched, i doubt there are lots of task waiting.

It's possible that i'm wrong, though.

Anyone who can point us to the right direction, please do so..

"Is Golem GNT the dumbest project since the DAO?"

That is the title of this video below"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkGu8RAQJRw

I am curious to hear some thoughts on these critics.

They have no bloody idea what they are talking about.
It's like a cleaning lady commenting on quantum physics.

I don't know enough about Golem to make any kind of comment on whether its a good project or not. But did you listen to the video?

These guys aren't nobodies in the bitcoin community, jimmy song is a pretty prominent bitcoin dev and Tone is a highly respected trader and bitcoin supporter.....they are bitcoin maximalist though...

I'm a nobodies.

But I found the video to be weird, they are analyzing mostly based on third party article.

And they get stuck on weird terms. ex, "unused CPU Power".

You guys can check the https://golem.network/home/ scroll down to see what Golem is all about.

IMO, "unused CPU Power" is a bad description, but the guys make analysis as if that what Golem is all about, and saying how stupid it is for a project to expect people renting out their "unused CPU Power".

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: January 08, 2018, 11:32:04 AM
Bitcoin Hush (BTCH) website has been updated with some more information & a little preview of whitepaper:

http://btchush.org/

It kinda dead.

Opening it from google cache give this little reading material. Very interesting.

So BTCH will be airdropped to 4 different coins and it's actually a Komodo asset chain instead of a common BTC fork like its name suggest.

Nice !

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: January 08, 2018, 09:05:53 AM
Will people who hold their HUSH on Cryptopia receive the BTCH in the future?

You need to withdraw it to your wallet.

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HUSH Secure Private Messaging and Transactions [Equihash] on: January 07, 2018, 12:41:15 AM
That's gonna be literally the next Zclassic. Same news, better technology. Conservative prediction: 10x from here basing on ZCL price. I'm glad that I bought some a week ago.

10x from here wouldn't be too accurate. I think 30x would be more appropriate (basing from the same ZCL you mentioned).

This is gonna get big.

Agree with gonna get big. I'm not pro enough to talk about number, though.

In very short range, two factors why I think it gonna even bigger.

1. At the moment Hush only listed in cryptopia and barterdex, so it's still below radar.
2. The Air drop require holder to keep the coin at private wallet. So as H-day get closer the supply of coin available for trade which already dwindling will be reduced even more.

Just a reminder,

Alpha release today Grin Grin Grin Grin

I thought golem alpha have been released for a while.

I check their twitter and i don;t think there's anything pointed to this date.

I understand the confusion, I looked at the cryptocalendar too.

So i go to the site pointed. I don;t think that's a date.

What about this?

https://golem.network/alpha.html

I see 05.1

Yeah. That's what i mean. I don;t think it's a date. I think it's a typo it is supposed to be 06.1 Scroll down on the alpha page, you will see 05.2 which i think should be 06.2
This image below might explain it better

I agree with lots of previous comment. this coin need official ANN thread. There seems to be lack of info. This coin's dev got good presence in twitter.

They have event planned in 20th January on Seoul.

Too bad the site in korean, but it seems it's not just a meetup but also a competition. It might give influx of new idea to the coin development, advancing its maturity.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO September 1] ALIS - Japanese Social Media Network on: January 01, 2018, 01:38:44 AM
I buy at high price then now it goes down? Why? This is mega bullshit
It seems that devs abandoned this project.
It is very risky to invest into small projects like this.

What are you talking about? Dev is very active, recently they have Japan meeting with alis investor alike, beta release Q1-Q2 2018. Just look at their twitter/telegram, they give an update every day.

This is correct. The dev actually very active in twitter.

Source : https://twitter.com/ALIS_media

They also seems very active in Japan on January. There are 3 planned event for january. On 6th, 7th and 20th.

https://peatix.com/event/329408/view
https://peatix.com/event/329415/view
https://peatix.com/event/329552/view

While it's true the project seems to be small, the fact that they have event like that in Japan, that mean the devs/founder are real. They also seems to be committed considering the token hold by the founders are locked up.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 25, 2017, 11:29:33 PM
Nem should be same price of ETH... built from ground up and may better then ethereum...

Lets be realistic here. NEM circulating supply is very large, like 100 times more than Ethereum. Same price as Ethereum is too large of a goal.
Even 1/100 of Ethereum price ($7.65) is quite high too. Possible, but unlikely anytime soon.

For myself, I'm satisfied if it got to $1.50 or about 11000 Sats, in February.

I think the poster is referring to marketcap.

Well, Marketcap is much more realistic. But even then, that's a tall order, I don't think it's likely to happen without the dev keeping the same pace for few years.

I think its very doable within the next 12 months, considering the projects and partnerships that are underway, not to mention catapult, NEM will be a class of its own in blockchains...

*grin* It might be.
The reason I'm buying the coin, though, because i think it got a good prospect for the next few month. I will reassess within the next few month.
If it still got potential to rise in next few month, i will keep it, to reassess again.

I'm not Hodor though, so i will not hold the door.
I also not here for religion, so i will not keep faith.

If it seems the communication stop or the development halted, I'm out.

Market cap. Not per unit. That would be ridiculous.

Well, XEM price at Ethereum Market Cap, will be 7,39 USD.
Probably in few years ?
I'm a short sighted guy. I set my sight within few months.

i'm wondering, it's just that people really realize how great nem is, or there are some other news/reason to explain this rise?

For example i don't think there is anything new about catapult..

Entrance to new exchange, perhaps ?
https://support.okex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003598811-OKEx%E4%B8%8A%E7%BA%BFXEM-DGB%E7%9A%84%E5%85%AC%E5%91%8A

and

https://news.bitcoin.com/japanese-dmm-crypto-exchange-launch/

Or simply because the project seems to show increased activity...

It's not rare that coins drop because the project seems to halt, and increase alot when the project pace increased too. Specially when it got new product.
