1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Switching wallet.dat files in Bitcoin Core? on: March 18, 2018, 01:52:39 AM
You could always set different data directories from the shortcuts, you can then run different wallets with ease, and not worry about moving / corrupting the wallet.dat files. This would be the safest option and would not jeopardise the system.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can I protect my self from being hack of bitcoin on: January 15, 2018, 05:13:31 PM
Make sure to keep everything private, have 2fa on everything and do not store coins on websites or even exchanges for an extended period - if you do not hold the private keys, the coins are not yours!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to shut down the mining field in the future? on: January 15, 2018, 05:05:48 PM
Cities, states and even countries have tried shutting down crypto, and in a couple of cases they profited whilst other lost out, the NEO debacle for instance, now Ripple is the next government and banking scam. There will always be attacks on Bitcoin and its crypto alts, but it can never be shut down, not in its entirety, at least not on a network consensus scale, and even then there will be diehards..
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This question puzzles me. on: January 15, 2018, 04:31:28 PM
There will always be Bitcoin in the ecosystem, even old wallet dats wiil become valuable due to the forks on bitcoin, Gold, Cash, Platinum and the rest.. so even thought Bitcoin is deflationary there will be quite a supply for quite a while!
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is the best time to invest in BTC? on: January 11, 2018, 09:42:26 AM
The best time to buy Bitcoin recently was yesterday, you can buy tomorrow if you must but not the next day. Of course I am referring to the whole ecological structure and not the monetary value inherently, it's best to get in NOW if you have not already, and HODL! This is just the start of the mainstream adoption, you don't want to miss out again, do you?
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates wasn’t joking when he said Bitcoin was better than Fiat Currency on: January 10, 2018, 03:11:02 PM
And now even the banks are after Crypto with Ripple, they have missed out on the BTC / ALT growth era and now selling tokens in a wealth reversal that will be reflected against the US dollar that could be worth from 5c to $1.50, and even then they are not accepting FIAT for the purchases... Does this tell you something?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft Removes Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 02:57:51 PM
Because US government is against cryptocurrencies. As long as Microsoft doesn't want to have problems with officials they won't take any risks. Especially risks like that: Bitcoin as a payment method is only for geeks and it's not worth keeping it just to satisfy them.

$100 transaction fee? Did we reach the moon already?

Fees can be as high of as low as you make them (of course there is a risk of lowers fees for tx's never being accepted), or stuck in the mempool for days, but come on - $100?Huh Absurd.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are The Banks Scared of Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 09:53:13 PM
The banks have now turned the tables and are now selling their RIPPLE for BITCOIN and ETHERIUM, they are NOT accepting USD for this.

So all the time, since 2009 and recently with the soaring BTC price, are they wanting a part of the action.

So even though they tell you NO.... the banks LOVE BTC.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Millionaire? I’d be happy with just paying my house off. on: January 08, 2018, 08:33:24 PM
The most valuable thing is not money but security, and by that; peace of mind. A life without worrying about a high or unexpected bill arriving, not having to think about what or who to pay first, and even in the supermarket the choices of the quality of eating can and does occur (I have had this myself)/ As well as 'security', you can also help others, again not monetarily but from different perspectives, even making a space nice for others can aid many.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto replace fiat money? on: January 08, 2018, 08:30:00 PM
Will it replace current, or has it already?  The mass media and even fake news are reporting on us now. The secret is out, hope you all HODL'd  Cool
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING! 3 Cryptocurrency Scams you MUST avoid. on: December 30, 2017, 10:33:29 AM
Is a good article but misses out many of the 'scams' we in the crypto world have seen and learnt to avoid, there is a simple rule (aside from fake wallets) in that with these schemes, if they are too good to be true, then this is probably the case.

Due diligence and research will save many from losing coin and letting the scammers take control. You can even ask opinions on forums such and this and even social media, there are some site that highlight the scams too to try and at least warn others of the pitfalls out there..
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is dropping! what to expect?! on: December 30, 2017, 10:19:30 AM
There are many reasons for the sometimes biggish fluctuations, mainly this is due to market confidence and news, the big dump (actual) a few days ago distilled a lot of
FOMO dilemmas for many, some dumped too, and lost out - be strong, lets the markets recover, and don't trade with a hot head!
13  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to unlock my wallet? [CRACKED!!] on: December 21, 2017, 12:56:07 PM
Congrats on the recovery, was a nice read too, but yes as suggested by others, do not leave the coin on exchange - this is real money, and a good chunk of it so people will always targets the wallets where these, and others are stored, even just storing on an offline paper wallet to a hardware or you computer, anything but leaving long term (or even short) on an exchange.
14  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is "cryptocurrency" a good term? on: December 20, 2017, 07:10:09 PM
Cryptocurrency, or just crypto, is a world know word now, like 'OK'; it describes the digital token and coinspace very well, and as was described ealier in thread, has become the standard world when describing the technical movements of all.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto on: December 14, 2017, 07:50:30 PM
A day job would offer a (mainly) mundane source of income, crypto is although risky at times, it is a very exciting sector to be in, really you need to prioritize, around yourself, family and friends, only you can make this decision, remember as well to look forward and never back. Good luck in your future!
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: December 06, 2017, 12:23:56 AM
A very many people have benefited from Bitcoin and some Altcoins, they have enabled the unbanked to be a part of the monetary system, this is the new currency (ok many are behind - but we are gaining traction). HOLD those coins and help shape and promote the future we are all in now.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP][ICO]HousePanda, 1st tokenized supercomputer incubated by NVIDIA on: December 01, 2017, 11:18:48 PM
Sounds like a really great project, especially paired with nVidia, could we see some more proof of links, and some details on the Supercomputer? Will this also be a masternode or a mining computer of sorts? detail details details...
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Bitcoin *NEW FORK DECEMBER* LMAO on: December 01, 2017, 07:48:14 PM
There will be no end of these forks, as long as there are people that do, advances will be made. Perhaps we will have some filters in the future to syphon out these weedy and sometimes scamful coins.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Altcoins match up to Bitcoins on: December 01, 2017, 07:38:25 PM
Of course some Altcoins can match up to Bitcoin, each of the valid Alts have intrinsic values, and if they have solid plans for diversification, they can of course be on par with Bitcoin. There are many scams  in the Cryptoworld, but also some good people who are trying to further digital coins and the real values they can add to us, and the world in whole.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to buy Monero? on: November 30, 2017, 11:17:13 PM
