1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to store some Bitcoins? on: October 19, 2018, 12:55:32 PM
I wanted to ask this question and now I don't.Because I opened CoinMarketCap right now and found I had missed the best chance to get it. It's getting growing now and at a price of $11,075.80. Rush to buy!
This month is sure a great time to store bitcoin since we are quite on stable price right now and at any moment bull might run and bitcoin's price can really increase 200% to 300%. The price right now is lower than $10000 thats why it is good to buy and store some bitcoin, Some alts right now are recommendable because of independency on bitcoin's price.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea Opens Doors for Cryptocurrency on: October 19, 2018, 11:25:42 AM
Before this time, almost Korean investors really worried about new tax policy for cryptocurrency.
That's why all news said the government will apply 3~40%taxes for crypto at Jul~Aug.
But today, the government said we will apply 10~15%taxes for crypto like interest income tax, and it is very acceptable to all Korean investors.
Also they said we feel hard to say it will happen within this year and although will happen this year, there will be 1~2years stay period.

http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&oid=023&aid=0003382087&sid1=001&lfrom=kakao

In conclusion, Crypto is accepted by government's legal property, SO MANY KOREAN INVESTORS WILL GET INTO MARKET AGAIN!

This should be the mindset of all government we have in the world even though we do have differences but in terms of financing we should have cryptocurrency or digital currency at the very least. We should innovate everything even we're going to face big changes in order to have a better life. Adoption for bitcoin and alternative coins would give great experience of living.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Bull Run!!! on: October 18, 2018, 02:29:52 PM
End of the year is going back up again. The massive players are driving the market down, but they will bring it back up. Optimism!!

Well that's what we wanted to see and hopefully we can reproduce the same positivism that we have last year. But those massive players are not going back to the system because there's no positive news that will make the price grow again this year.

The whole ETF news should be one of the factor to fuel the market but it's postponed by SEC so we have to wait for it again before we can see bull run that we all have been waiting for.
We all want to see the bull running this year but as you have said whales are not around anymore, well i did not think of that one since they are whales they do have space time for probably waiting on time. ETF news will also make a huge comeback to price of bitcoin. Every year has a bull run and don't worry year has not ended yet so we must wait.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to trade altcoins? on: October 18, 2018, 01:14:17 PM
Hello everyone. So recently I've been trading bitcoin for alt coins as I find that alt coins are far more volatile due to lower volume compared to Bitcoin and thus more profitable when it comes to day trading. Any great alt coins I should be looking into for trading? I'd like to hear your opinion on this method of trading!
Well obviously altcoin is more profitable when it comes to short trade because bitcoin now is less volatile and quite stable at $6000 to $7000. Recommended altcoins would be XRP due to its current rise and increased these past few weeks but it really depends on what you really want it is not on a coin to gain profit but your timing.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: October 17, 2018, 12:33:31 PM
Ethereum for $ 50 even in the worst dream I will not dream. I hope that by the end of the year I will see the price of Ethereum about 2 thousand dollars.
Think of something 2000 dollars for ethereum is quite a real price in the near future. Especially if you take into account the new technologies that the team are trying to implement and especially want to remember the new improvement of the platform, which is scheduled for October.
Speculating it to be at $2000 is not bad since it already reached at $1300 last year and its really impossible to drop at $50 and will really never be. Im sure no one will really cut his loss on ethereum at $50 right? im pretty sure ethereum is just preparing for a continuous momentum for inflation this year.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we stop Bitcoin's negative publicity?-Rebranding. on: October 17, 2018, 10:44:45 AM
So I am subscribed to quite a few crypto news and general news websites; and one thing that frustrates me to no end is to see such negative publicity of this currency!
And I know most of the people are of the opinion that bitcoin doesn't really need publicity! But I think a little rebranding is very much needed to put bitcoin in the good light.Try to focus on the good things of it, its qualities, maybe it will help it to stabilize or something?
Whats your say on this?
It is not just the bitcoin but the whole cryptomarket is going through a public negative rebranding because of people who do not know it, they often called it as a kind of scam which is totally not. There are many people who literally do not know bitcoin but spread shitty news on it. I would be very glad if the bull runs off this year and sees negative people crazy buying bitcoin.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Digital currency and cryptocurrencies on: October 17, 2018, 09:29:15 AM
I think digital currencies is include all thing that we use as payment in digital transaction, even it is fiat, or anything else that we can use as payment, it can be called digital currency. But crypto is i can't explain about crypto, but like bitcoin and others of it.
Yes it is, Digital currency and cryptocurrency is both useful on digital media however the main difference is that Digital currency can be a coverted fiat like Dollars, won stored at online wallet for example Paypal and Cryptocurrency is a currency in a form of cryptography like BITCOIN and ETHEREUM. However, we both coined it as digital currency often since we are using it on digital world.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dangers of a HODL’er: on: October 16, 2018, 12:49:52 PM
I do agree with the whole above suggestions but how can a newbie do well or hope to be succesful without following someone's success strategy?
Your point number 2 has a contradiction, can you guide on it so that newbies can replace at this point ?
I guess that is why we need to have our own researches about the cryptomarket. What he is trying to say is do not be to dependent on someone's trace step on this industry, we do have our different fate in here. Also newbies need to really engage first in the market at the first not because they have seen others success but because for them to learn and have their own strat.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Ways to Avoid Bitcoin Scams on: October 16, 2018, 10:57:26 AM
As interest in digital currencies increases such as Bitcoin, more and more Bitcoin scams promise high returns. Unrealistic lure is clearly a mere cover, and usually ends with the loss of clients' funds. Fraud often spreads in social circles based on trusted relationships. Therefore, we must be aware that there are cunning fraudsters who can actively seek ways to deceive with absurd tricks and offers.

How to avoid bitcoin scams :

1. Know What You Are Facing

You don't need to rush to decide whether an investment product is a scam or not. All you need to do is, take a moment to find complete information about the project. The easiest way to do this is to find information in the form of company details or Whitepaper (if ICO), and other things related to the investment product. Learn all the details carefully and do some research on testimonials, comments, and so on. Another way is to join a Bitcoin forum like Bitcointalk, and immediately ask for credibility of an investment product or company to other members.

2. Avoid Unrealistic Offerings

Usually, crypto currency fraud can disguise its identity by using a social media account or advertising banner that looks professional. Mark Steward, director of FCA law enforcement, explained that when people become more skeptical of the real world regarding investment and consumer habits have changed, investment fraud has moved into the realm of Online and social media.

How to avoid this Bitcoin Scam is, you are better selective about all investment offerings from the Online platform that you did not ask for, whether through social media, email, or even by telephone. Even if it looks official, pay attention to how it is offered. Con artists usually dare to promise high profits to lure victims. So if you feel the promise of profits is unrealistic, immediately ignore the proposed offer.

3. Beware of Phising Web Pages

Increased interest in crypto currencies makes many new investors enter the market. Lots of land in a fake landing page that claims to be a popular digital currency exchange platform. One example is the one that uses the Punycode technique. Through this method, the fake domain 'xn - inance-hrb [dot] com' can be displayed as 'ƅinance [dot] com'. This technique is usually able to deceive consumers, because web pages can look really like the original. You can overcome this by being aware of vulnerabilities that exist in internet browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Opera,

4. Beware of Fake Digital Wallets

Fake virtual wallets often appear online or at the mobile app store. In the example of a fake Wallet fraud that happened, more than $ 3.3 million was stolen from users who want to claim their Bitcoin Gold. To anticipate similar events, many Bitcoin Wallet providers caution clients to be aware of the cloning of scammers who want to steal victim funds by imitating their appearance.

MyEtherWallet for example, warns customers about fake MyEtherWallet in December. In addition, before choosing a digital wallet provider, do research first. Please share opinions on leading crypto forums, both local and foreign. In essence, only use the Wallet provider with a good track record.

5. Beware of Bitcoin Thief Malware

Malware is something that concerns computer owners. But now, a new category of malware capable of stealing Bitcoin-related data has appeared. Malware authorized by the computer owner is able to record typing or search for a file with the keyword "Account", "Password", "Bitcoin", "Wallet", or other keywords specified by the author, then upload the file to an anonymous server automatically.

In addition, there is also a malware that seeks to absorb the computing power of computer users to mine crypto. Anticipating this, YouTube is trying to deactivate ads that take computing power to mine crypto currencies. It is believed, after users see the related ad videos, the computer becomes slow and there will be warnings from anti-virus programs. Malware like this can steal up to 100% of computing power to mine crypto currencies (generally Monero). The solution that can be applied here is to install strong anti-virus protection and active Firewall to protect the computer.
This points are very useful most especially to the beginners because I know for sure that most investors are already aware of all this investment precocious. In addition I will advice that we should also learn to avoid be greedy looking for huge profit is mainly the cause why scammers do succeed.
This factors really are true but there is just one for me not to be scam using that tagline "Invest on Bitcoin", it is just don't give a shit on that one. Literally don't give a damn on every advertisement instead study the whole blockchain if you really want to know more about the cryptocurrency and most especially bitcoin.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My sweet and bitter experience about bitcoin on: October 14, 2018, 10:00:54 AM
Bitcoin has become a big part life of those person who started it before three or four years ago because bitcoin has given very big change to their life in very short period and some of them are so happy to enjoy the big earning from the bitcoin. And i am also part of them. Bitcoin has changed life of thousand people in the world and growing every years.
This is what it really need it to be. There should be a sweet and bitter events while dealing with the cryptocurrency especially the highest volatile one which is bitcoin. There are times you need to lose in order to learn and have a lesson so it won't happen again and there are times you win because of that experiences. Bitcoin is not just about money but learning also.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid ICO scam on: October 14, 2018, 08:09:42 AM
Now it has become much easier to identify crypto projects. Very good projects hardly collect the necessary amounts. About the scam projects are not even heard now. It is enough to communicate in a telegram to understand.
I think it's difficult to distinguish ICO scamp. because there is no definite benchmark for a good ICO.
All I can do is join the majority because if the ICO looks bad, followers will not be many so in my opinion it can minimize errors in choosing an ICO.
Well, there is really no way to found out that the certain is ICO is a scam project or not legit one, this is the perks of being here in the cryptocurrency world there is so much anonymity involve. Investing on such ICO is a risky way to gain a profit made out of time, spotting scam ICO is hard but having a regret is harder. You can look and search for the Developers and founder of the ICO on some sites giving rating to ICO's but don't just rely in there.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to be A Good Trader? [new] on: October 14, 2018, 06:43:03 AM
First, you must have capital ready to lose. because there will be many mistakes when you learn by yourself. try to chart analysis. it's best to enter when prices fall, it might be -5% to -10% to make a profit. You can read articles on the internet about reading candles and graphics. and don't make big profits. 2% to 5% is good for beginners in trading.
Capital is a must of course because it is money risking, trading is money risking. You should have capital for trading, knowledge about trading and skills about trading, it is not simply buying, holding and selling a coin, it is more than just that because trading requires a logical thinking based on price charts and view on different perspective.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Offline stores that accept payments using bitcoins on: October 13, 2018, 06:23:39 AM
Are there any of you who have offline business but accept payment using bitcoin?

There are many merchants and local businesses that accept bitcoin as a payment form.
https://99bitcoins.com/who-accepts-bitcoins-payment-companies-stores-take-bitcoins/
Also here in coinmap.org you can find the map and see which company near you accepts bitcoin.
There are a lots of stores that are accepting bitcoin even if it is an offline and online transactions . They provide bitcoin holders and users to use there bitcoin in a hassle free.
This is really good to know that their are business man who are willing to do it at the perfect time. This is really a huge help but i suggest fr you to do it now, because this might mot only help your business but also the marry of cryptocurrency or the bitcoin. It will probably boost its popularity because it is a form of advertisement indeed.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin prices remain the same until next year, will it be good for the crypt on: October 12, 2018, 10:16:06 AM
If bitcoin price remain until next year and price will be stay at 6000$ to 6500$
I think no need to worry because it's means bitcoin are stable their price as currency
But sorry to tell if this scenario become true hard to earn profits in cryptocurrency

Got a point. Today's market is better to be volatile than to be stagnant because probably there will be no people to engage to cryptocurrency if it happens. Speculation from the people gives value to bitcoin that is why it is very volatile . But it is okay to be steady if people all around the world will use it and this is a good indication for it to become a currency.
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: October 11, 2018, 12:56:10 PM
what a year, wish I dump all the coin in late DEC lol

and today, spend the 100% from that capital and bought it again, so u still holding the same amount as late DEC while steady with the 900% profits..

We all had the same regret, mate. But we can't turn it back because we aren't a time traveler, All we can do is HODLing our bitcoins until the time it gets skyrocketing again.
I had also this kind of regret, telling myself why i did not get the contentment i need to sell, i was too ambitious hoping bitcoin could hit a $30000 reach but it wasn't. But if you think deep enough, you'll understand why the bitcoin fell off since january and would understand that the chart speaks, bear market will soon to end and start of bull to run.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: October 11, 2018, 11:04:57 AM
We have changed everything about bad news and negative about cryptocurency and bitcoin, we can give more knowledge about background of bitcoin and talk to investor how bitcoin could increase of investment.

change our mindset about the world of BTC from bad to good. this is the best choice. because actually the news that was spread was not entirely correct, there must be every side of it, only gossip that would only destroy the development of BTC to this day.
Absolutely, the fake and unreliable news are really destroying the cryptocurrency , market and mostly the bitcoin. People's mindset are being blown by these massive media company broadcasting really disappointing news about the crypto to those who are really in and knows what the crypto is going through. Media nowadays literally showing how they are being puppetized by the government.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency courses, thoughts? on: October 08, 2018, 01:03:00 PM
I personally think courses on Blockchain Technology would be more important and relevant than cryptocurrencies courses... or at least start with blockchain before that to understand the core tech behind these cryptocurrencies. Just my personal opinion though. I know there are several organizations that offer degrees for completing the courses.

Coursera
https://www.coursera.org/learn/blockchain-foundations-and-use-cases

Consensys
https://consensys.net/academy/2018developer/

MIT

Best of luck and enjoy ~

Bitcoin or blockchain related program for colleges should be implemented, as for my readings on different article there are datas saying that bitcoin and blockchain technology related jobs increase for more than 600% since 2015 where people started recognizing it and more than 200% since 2017 where bitcoin hits $20000. What do you think of this ?
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I learn to be a professional trader? on: October 08, 2018, 10:44:56 AM
I want to learn about being professional trader. I want to search and read some articles but I don't know whatelse.
What I read so far is about how to read candlestick. And I learn how to read indicator but I just learn it by myself.
So what articles to read? If you have some suggestion, please share here. I don't ask for the articles to read, I just ask for some clue what to learn
I guess to be a professional trader your patience should be long enough to cope up with market stress and High emotional quotient because of losses. There has been more important aspect of being a trader than having a good trades, maybe you did a good trade because of luck and not really with the skill you actually have. Being a good trade means a self-discipline.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A tip for choosing the exchange. on: October 07, 2018, 01:05:45 PM
Good exchange is exchange that operated more than 2 or 3 years and they has good reputation, never get any hack and comply with the regulation in the country their located. I used Bittrex and Poloniex more than 2 years and i have balance in that exchange also since 2 years and untill now that my balance is safe. So this both exchanges is one of the best exchanges.
I'm also using Bittrex as my cryptocurrency exchanger, its good, fast and reliable. So when choosing an exchanger, make sure that they are operating legally, safe and secured it is very essential to all user of the exchanger when it is safe and secured, hack-proof and system error=proof. Recently i used Bancor for a single transaction and i am impressed although fee is quite higher, im looking to use bancor as my optional exchanger.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market/Bear Market trading strategies on: October 07, 2018, 11:57:45 AM
As for me when it comes to the phases of the market, bearish or bullish, down or up etc. the great buying of assets is when the price is low and decreasing why? because the chance of gaining from that coins is huge. Buy, buy , buy when it is bear market and sell, sell, sell if it is bull market. Because it is really hard being successful while its bear market, once in a blue moon.
