2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Identifying Rewarding Crypto Earning opportunities on: March 23, 2024, 06:19:25 AM
Investing in tokens for long-term hodl has always been my preference, watching their value increase over time is incredibly satisfying as a crypto investor. However, I've recently been intrigued by individuals who earn cryptocurrency through simple tasks and see their portfolios grow.

While I've always enjoyed purchasing tokens, I've been exposed to new ways of earning free crypto through various cryptocurrency discussion forums. Platforms like Layer3 offer quests where users can earn XP, which can lead to airdrops. Additionally, exchanges incentivize users with tokens for completing tasks and spinning wheels. It's fascinating to see how people can discover and earn new cryptocurrencies through these methods.

As a crypto investor, is it taboo to inquire about opportunities to earn free tokens? Some believe that airdrops will kickstart the 2024 bull market, and based on current trends, I can see why. For those who participate in these tasks, how do you identify the most lucrative and rewarding opportunities?
As a crypto investor, aside from buying cryptocurrencies for longterm hold, it's perfectly fine to explore other avenues to acquire free tokens like airdrops. It's true that this can be profitable, as getting lucky with an airdrop can result in significant profits. However, not all airdrops are lucrative… many are a waste of time and effort. But if you're determined to earn, dedicating your time and patience to participate in every airdrop can be worthwhile.
3  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bingo Plus Discussion on: March 23, 2024, 12:38:41 AM

Madami palang laro eto.
4  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Naranasan Nyo Na Ba Na Masisi Dahil Sa Cryptocurrency on: March 23, 2024, 12:05:19 AM
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops are getting easier to get this year on: March 21, 2024, 10:55:52 PM
I tried to participate in the Bitget token airdrop. First, I downloaded the wallet and received 50 BWB points. To increase or obtain more points, all you need to do is invite others and engage in trading within the Bitget wallet. However, I'm unsure of the exchange rate between BWB points and BWB tokens. Perhaps if you devote time to this, you can accumulate more points. It seems legitimate enough as I also saw the airdrop link within the bitget wallet itself.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to earn money (cryptocurrency) in 2024? on: March 21, 2024, 10:19:57 PM
I have been thinking about making money in cryptocurrency, but I'm hesitant to try because I don't want to get scammed i.e. didn't get any rewards for the effort I spent. I'm really curious with the current hype in 2024 and how much you've make from it? I know that scam is inevitable in altcoins, so I might be looking to earn with less risk.

What I know the current hypes in 2024 are:
1. Testnet airdrop
2. Meme coins

What about NFT or ordinals? but I think it's really risky because it's non fungible and you can't make sure people will buy your token.
What about P2E games? I haven't hear it anymore.

Probably I missed other hypes or if you know the another way of making money, feel free to comment. Wink
One way to earn money in crypto with less risk is through airdrops where you only need to complete tasks to receive tokens. An example of this is the Heroes of Mavia and Arkham airdrop. The challenge here is that we cannot determine the next project similar to them, and with the multitude of airdrops emerging, even dedicating all your time to them may not be sufficient. What's needed is diligence and patience to grind through, as it can consume all your time.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's next in the memecoin cycle? on: March 20, 2024, 10:36:24 PM
There's much discussion surrounding the current memecoin season. We've witnessed all the usual aspects of a crypto memecoin season: from speculative trading to numerous project launches and presales, along with a flurry of airdrops. Presently, speculative trading and presales are at the forefront. While airdrops like JUP and Wen have come and gone. We’ve even seen bigger projects like bitget introduce their own airdrop/ rewards programs with prizes for various activities such as registration, spot trading, and completing futures trading tasks.

At this point, we've experienced a wide range of events so far and comparing the current scenario to what I recall from the bullish market of 2021, it seems like we have encountered all that a memecoin cycle can offer. Consequently, I anticipate a direct transition to altcoin season. Any thoughts on this prediction? Or how much longer do you think this will last?
In my opinion, memecoins will likely persist for a while. Although there are times when other trends emerge, such as altcoin seasons, airdrops, and so on, we often see memecoins resurface and trend again. Perhaps people are really seeking where they can make significant profits, hence memecoins trending for all seasons.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why you need to have spare USDT in this bullrun. on: March 20, 2024, 10:14:58 PM
Couple of weeks ago, a friend told me about a new memecoin Gecko Inu (GEC). As at that time, the mcap was below $2.5M & I was like this could be another rugpull but as an investor, it's sometimes necessary to take some calculated risk so i invested some few $$$.

Surprisingly, the token started to trend and in less than 33 days, mcap has now surpassed $16M with prominent exchanges now listing it. My 2024 would have been sealed had it been I also took heed to invest in BRETT and BOME which have equally done massively well.

With the realization of what appeared to be dream, it looks like some new projects could be the centre of attraction in this coming bullrun as investors are looking for ways to maximize profits by being among the early birds in a particular project hence the reason you need to have some USDT kept aside to take advantage of this evolving new projects. What are your thoughts about this? Let's discuss.
You are one of the fortunate ones who struck gold with a meme coin like the gecko inu you bought. However, such success doesn't always come around. In my opinion, the ideal time to have usdt or stable coins is during a bear market, as that's when you can purchase cryptocurrencies at lower prices. But because your strategy involves profiting from meme coins, it's indeed wise to always have usdt on hand to seize opportunities when the meme coins you're eyeing become available. However, I must reiterate that not every instance will be as fortunate as your gecko inu purchase, so caution is still necessary.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are the Altcoins Going to Dip in Short Term? on: March 20, 2024, 04:56:42 AM
Hi all,

First time posting here. I have a bit of alt-coins in my tax free account where I can trade regularly without incurring taxes (cannot distribute).

My investments across multiple alt-coins have yielded handsomely in the past 1+ year. My question is:

Should we expect a relatively big pull back in the short term (30%+) with the top 50 alt-coins in the next two months?

I know the market appears to be in a mid-way bull market rally, but after a relatively strong upward movement recently, I feel like there has to be a temporary drop for the market to breath. Given that I wouldn't be paying taxes on these sales, and crypto doesn't have a wash sale rule like equities, I wanted to grab my profit and wait for this hypothetical pull back before investing again for a bigger gain down the road when we might see 5x - 10x by the end of this year, or early next year.

My reasoning is, the whales have dumped their Bitcoin on the institutional investors/Trads in recent months as the Bitcoin ETFs have become available, but they are only seeing bag holders on the alt-coin side, and not seeing newcomers to buy alt-coins from them in order to eventually dump them on the newcomers.

My dilemma is, should I sell now, wait for the short-term pull back, go back in and sell in the long term, or is this a foolish sentiment?

UPDATE (March 19): Well, f*ck me! My hunch was right, and I missed the opportunity. Diamond hand prevailed.
The market experiences volatility, which is the fluctuation of prices upwards and downwards. While some profit, others incur losses. If you're skilled at reading and analyzing trading candles, you can sell your altcoins and buy back at lower prices. However, if you're not adept at trading and rely solely on your intuition, it's better to hold onto them until the 2025 bull run.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin hype getting higher on: March 19, 2024, 11:34:01 PM
It's true that people always have interested in memecoin. I heard many strange memecoin names. i avoided those and was launching at corner. But it seems revolution happened in memeocin industry in the start of 2023. In that yeat, a lots of memecoin had come in crypto market and made people millionaire. Pepe, Bonk, Meme and so on. and in 2024 WIF and BOME again have created hype and made people millionaire again. Now memecoins are in demand due to the possibility of higher returns. And it makes people crazy. What's your opinion about this?
Based on my observation, people are becoming interested in meme coins possibly because, as you mentioned, some meme coins have surged in price, causing early investors to suddenly become millionaires. However, with the multitude of meme coins emerging daily, we cannot determine which of these coins will drive up the price, and the risk is very high because most of them are scams. However, people are free to decide whether to invest in meme coins...they are not being coerced into it...it's their own decision.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you and I benefit? on: March 19, 2024, 01:54:50 AM
Hello. Here in Gaza, owners of cryptocurrencies cannot withdraw their balances due to the closure of all exchange shops. They are forced to sell their cryptocurrencies at a lower price than their value to get money.
Someone offered me to transfer 1000 USDT to my wallet in exchange for handing him $900 in cash.
That means 1usdt=90 cents
Can we benefit from that?
If you have $900 in cash, exchsnge it because you already have a profit of $100. But since you mentioned that in your country you cannot withdraw crypto into cash because exchange shops have closed, expect difficulty in exchanging that $1000 USDT into cash. However, if you have plenty of cash, exchange it because hopefully the turmoil in your country will end, and the closed exchange shops will reopen eventually.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Memes really pump hard than others on: March 18, 2024, 10:15:27 PM
If it's a cryptocurrency other than bitcoin, it's likely called an altcoin, whether it's meme coins or serious projects. Predicting the next big thing after bome is challenging, but to earn significant profits, we must take risks and invest in meme coins. There could be many more projects like bome waiting to be discovered in their early stages, offering lucrative opportunities for early investors keen on seizing the potential of emerging trends in the crypto market.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on this on: March 18, 2024, 03:27:34 AM
I was juts scrolling through Binance new and I saw an airdrop from Pepe coin worth over 1 million dollar and I clicked on it to see how I can participate in this amazing airdrop as I read through i saw that this airdrop to participate in it I needed to send them a tip and I was wondering if Binance now promotes scam or if this is ledgit, does anyone have experience with this or should i bail.
Are you trying to say that to qualify for the airdrop, you need to give a tip? It seems like this isn't a legitimate airdrop because they're asking for money. In a genuine airdrop, you typically just need to complete a task to promote their project, and in return, they'll give you the airdrop. If what you're saying is true, it's better to just avoid or ignore the airdrop because it's likely not legitimate. Binance is known as a respected and trusted exchange by many, so it's possible that scammers are copying the binance website, and the website you opened is likely a phishing site.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Fix the money, Fix the world. on: March 18, 2024, 02:27:10 AM
Bitcoin will not become the world's currency if it continues to be exchanged for fiat or paper money. The value of bitcoin still depends on fiat money. People continue to buy bitcoin in pursuit of accumulating more paper money. If you are wealthy, you can buy a lot of bitcoin, but if you are poor, you may have little or no bitcoin as your possession. Bitcoin will only become a currency if it breaks free from being tied to paper money. One bitcoin value should be one bitcoin or one satoshi for a tray of eggs or ten satoshis for a service. People need to stop using government issued paper money if we truly want change.
15  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Need Suggestion From Filipino Citizen receiving gcash from abroud on: March 17, 2024, 07:51:13 AM
@Dread Pirate Roberts, I can send you the crypto in exchange for your gcash balance using preev rate plus 5% commission fee. I need Gcash funds for my business while I still have a lot of crypto from my investment that I already taking profit slowly into fiat.

I can send you USDT or Bitcoin currency since this my current crypto holdings. If you can have Binance account then this is much better to save transaction fees. I send you a PM with my offer.

The last time I check Gcrypto. It charged a high fee for both deposit and withdrawal so I really some of your client preferred to use that to send crypto directly plus the rate on Gcash is much higher for purchasing crypto coins.
I think this is the best way for OP to consider since @Coin_trader is one of the reputable Filipino now and what he offered is better enough so to cover the transaction fees , and also this will serve as mediator to each dealings or what we are calling escrow in this forum.
Goodluck to both of you guys and @Coin_trader , why not send OP a PM since he seems to not checking this thread for some time now?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which game currently have you glued to your screen. on: March 17, 2024, 06:42:41 AM
I missed out on the mavia airdrop since i know about it too late. However, my past experience with clash of clans sparked my interest in trying it out. Mavia is reminiscent of clash of clans in many ways. Presently, it's become my daily go-to game, and I'm diligently accumulating rubies through each opponent attack. This not only fuels my gameplay but also adds an extra layer of excitement to the experience.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Does it feel to be Balls Deep in altcoin, when only bitcoin is rising? on: March 16, 2024, 10:38:06 PM
To be honest, of course, I feel fomo towards bitcoin because it keeps rising, while my hold altcoin seems stagnant and unresponsive. But the fomo im experiencing is also tinged with fear because, for instance, if I sell my alts and buy bitcoin, what if it suddenly drops? Perhaps I'll just hodl onto my altcoin for now and wait for the altcoin season.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoins Making people more profitable than Alts on: March 16, 2024, 10:34:39 PM
You are fortunate to have caught a meme coin that pumped to such heights. But the biggest question here is which meme coin will be the next to pump like that bome. Everyone wants to profit, and who wouldn't, but not everyone is lucky enough to choose a gem of a meme coin. Personally, if I could predict the next memecoin to pump, I'd go all in. But it's not that simple, Op.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: March 16, 2024, 12:10:27 PM
Can shiba inu ever get to $1 in the next bull run or more years to come??,  though nothing is impossible, but i don't think it can get there,
And is the project still good to invest in?
Yes, it is possible for the price of a Shiba Inu to reach one dollar if all holders unite and refrain from selling their tokens until its price reaches one dollar. However, this scenario is unlikely because the market is comprised of various types of individuals, including day traders, long-term holders, institutional investors, developers, and others.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me to invest altcoin now on: March 16, 2024, 01:47:43 AM
I want, after the noticeable decline today, I want you to advise me on some currencies to invest in. I have two thousand dollars to invest. I want you to give me a list of digital currencies to invest. What do you advise me?
Depending on others for a cryptocurrency investment list when dealing with your two thousand dollars can be risky. It's essential to conduct thorough research and select the assets for investment personally. By taking this responsibility, you mitigate the risk of blaming others for any potential losses. Ultimately, investing wisely is about making informed decisions based on your own understanding and analysis rather than relying solely on external recommendations.
