1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What to do with faucet wins on: August 05, 2022, 01:40:20 PM
So, I've been collecting useless bits of crypto from a lot of faucets. Now, what do I do with them? My Blockchain wallet accepts bitcoins, but that's about it. What do I do with all these others coins? Many of them are in FaucetPay, can I use that to convert them to sats, or do I have to send them somewhere else to convert them? Someplace like YoBits, or another exchange?

You could get a wallet or exchange that supports the coins and send them there, or even a hardware wallet for safekeeping if you're planning to hodl.

3  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 1 Satoshi? on: April 21, 2021, 01:24:05 PM
It's interesting to read comments in that old topic. But back in December 2017 there was big bull run and Bitcoin was about $17k and even reached $20k. It would be more interesting to read answers to such question back in 2015 or 2016.
I remember that when I started to use faucets back in 2015, I didn't even bothered to claim from faucets which were giving less than 100 Satoshi. Best faucets like FreeBitco.in were giving over 1000 Satoshi, what is about $0.75 now. Damn, good times Cheesy.
Eventually, these numbers changed, later I didn't claimed from faucets which were giving less than 10 Satoshi. But now, we aren't far away from rewards smaller than 1 Satoshi. From technical perspective I think it's not big issue for faucets.
Faucets are a waste of time. In terms of bitcoin for time spent, you are better off doing pretty much anything else. Get a job and buy bitcoin or offer some service online, and you can earn hundreds of time more than you can with a faucet.
I used faucets in past and I don't consider that I wasted time on. After holding my faucet earnings for few years, now it's worth way more than I would ever afford to buy. Yes, you can say that back in 2015 I was able to spend $200 and buy full 1 Bitcoin. But for newbie without knowledge it was quite scary to invest even $200. And I didn't had any special skills, so, there wasn't many options how to get Bitcoin. And I don't even talk about income from referrals that I got.

I second this - I've made a decent chunk of change from faucet claims over the years and referrals. You just never know where the price is going next...

I'm really hoping they do the right thing.  They can send it in doge, btc, whatever. Just hopefully something. Hard earned money.  Life just got busy and stopped checking the site so often.

I hope you get your dough bud. I wonder how many others are out there who still don't know CP has closed because they didn't notify via email??

I'll be damned if $FUN whales have paper hands! Just saying Tongue

I'm showing my ignorance here, but what does this mean?

I thought the same thing so I looked it up.

A stock trader with paper hands will sell at the first sign of trouble. They are also more likely to sell as soon as their investment turns green or breaks even.

Thanks for the info and link. I've learned something new today!

At this moment (31st January) faucets are still up and working but multiplier rolls are not counting for the last day challenges!

Well, seeing the latest behaviors from site since 2020, definitely the end of coinpot.co will be a very very good think for crypto world...

Well I received my final payment, it took a week but it got there. CoinPot is not running an exit scam. I personally think it's a very sad day for the crypto world.

Can the TheQuin confirm the veracity of the VIP email as well? Just to be sure  Smiley

He already has on the other thread:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.15220

It is legitimate and confidential until the public launch.

Great, thanks. I'd missed that.

Tried to withdraw 0.00514095 BTC on the day this site announced the shutdown, still haven't received it. Has this been happening to anyone else?

I withdrew around 0.0025 on the Sunday after the announcement - took nearly 8 days to arrive. Hang in there!

Payment received in the early hours of this morning. Stress over!
13  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: coinpot.co scam or not on: January 24, 2021, 06:21:36 PM
Anyone who hasn't received payment from CP yet should send a polite email using the info on the website.

Don't expect a reply, but if enough people do it they may take notice and sort the issue out.

Many people have been waiting over a week for their payment now, myself included.
14  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: January 24, 2021, 06:20:01 PM
I triggered a withdrawal last Sunday - still not had payment yet.

I've sent a polite email to CoinPot (not expecting a reply!) and I would suggest everyone who hasn't received payment does the same.

If enough people do it they may (I live in hope!) take notice and sort out the issue.

Strange, my payout was processed pretty quickly although it was submitted yesterday. Maybe because it's just slightly above the threshold Grin

That's interesting. I still haven't received payment and I triggered the withdrawal on Sunday!
16  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: January 21, 2021, 01:09:59 PM
My withdrawal is still pending as well - nearly the same amount as yours - but there's a notice on the website stating that there's a backlog.

Oh, I see, well, I'm not yet among the lucky ones to have received the payout  Cry

Me neither - still waiting!
17  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: January 20, 2021, 09:21:32 AM
In theory, the claim amount should've remained constant in dollars, so with BTC price going up, satoshis are less but almost same dollar quantity, give or take.

You can't expect to claim 300 satoshi every 5 minutes as in 2018 and same 300 satoshi every 5 minutes nowadays in 2021.

Meanwhile my final withdraw is still in PENDING since Saturday, I converted all I had and it sums up to a nice amount in the range of ~0.003 BTC, I hope they honor it Grin

My withdrawal is still pending as well - nearly the same amount as yours - but there's a notice on the website stating that there's a backlog.

I'm sure they will pay out but it may take longer than usual.

You'll need to add the subdomain so that it is covered by your security certificate or you'll get no traffic to your site. It's showing as an invalid security certificate on the subdomain.

hey its fixed i wrote the link wrong  Cheesy oops lol
I just click but not working for me as badway 502 message appearing can you check again whats going on ?

i fixed it could you try again?

THE LINK

I can see that your site has a lot going on and a heap of potential but I personally find the main dashboard a bit of a muddle and not very user friendly. I think it would benefit from a bit of streamlining and a more appealing GUI.
19  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: January 17, 2021, 09:55:49 AM
CoinPot gave me my first taste of Bitcoin and I've always admired what they've done and their user-friendly services.

I think the writing's been on the wall for a while now - I've noticed my referrals have been rapidly decreasing over the past few months, along with the number of claims they've been making.

I guess faucets have had their day and people want sites that offer multiple ways of earning crypto - and not just dust amounts.

Thanks CoinPot and good luck with your new venture!

a simple question for you...
why do you continue to use coinpot multiplier every day if (as you claim) you lose money every day?
why would someone throw away money every day on something they 100% believe is a scam?
1st of all, I never claimed about losing my money every day because I never deposited anything to coinpot.co wallets and I will never do it. I only advice people about the UNFAIR behavior of multiplier to be very very carefull when thinking about deposit crypto, and if people finally decide to deposit then people have to be very very carefull when converting crypto to tokens in order to get (unsustainable) VIP rewards or playing multiplier to get challenge starts for earning more tokens.

I have said a lot but I remember again:

- NEVER DEPOSIT.
- If finally you wanna deposit, then you have to know that converting crypto to tokens you are losing crypto because 99% times you will get worse conversion rate than converting tokens to crypto.
- VIP Rewards are completely unsustainable (do you know what happened to "Cred"?).
- Nobody who has been played coinpot.co multiplier during months can defend or uphold that multiplier is provably fair according to results obtained by absolutely most of the people who played it.

As I said a lot within this thread, I still using coinpot.co multiplier for testing purposes in order to advice people and I will warn people everytime as I can.

When something bad happens with coinpot.co, I try to post it and advice all people (and same when sth good happens like my previous post about bonusbitcoin.co faucet claim for 460 satoshi).

I like to think that the 'unsustainable' VIP rewards are paid out from a pot of crypto seized from all the scammers and cheaters who've been caught.
