121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chances of ICOs being banned in the U.S. soon? on: October 26, 2017, 03:15:09 PM
I believe it will happen sooner rather than later.  If the people running theses icos were sensible about it then it wouldn't be an issue, but they've let greed take over and are doing all sorts of things they would never be able to get away with in any other sector.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: October 25, 2017, 03:18:30 PM
Making a copy is easy, but keeping up with new features by the developer(s) who made RaiBlocks possible will be quite hard. I see 0 chance that project will be worth anything.
I have to agree, in the long term at least.  Like all new coins the copy will probably have a little hype but will eventually run itself into the ground.  If the idea has anything to offer then the original will be the one that will pull it off.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: October 24, 2017, 03:23:15 PM
The best strategy is to do the bounty then sell them at the beginning as all coins go down.  If you believe in the coin long term then just wait for the selloff to finish and reinvest in it again.  You would often times have double the amount if not more versus just holding.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin to invest in before the fork? on: October 23, 2017, 03:06:07 PM
I would say Nexium.  The first quarter of the year should yield some good profits as there is significant news on the horizon.  Looks like the devs are finally going to get their stuff together.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do to earn btc and altcoins? on: October 22, 2017, 02:58:21 PM
The best way in my opinion is to trade. I started with buying FIAT of USD1000. Never looked back since.
Same here.  The more time you put into trading and researching the more it will pay off.  That's pretty much all I have to do now.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: October 21, 2017, 08:06:56 PM
Do light wallets exist for this coin?
Not yet, I believe it's on the to do list eventually.  Closest option is a web wallet I guess.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: community or money? on: October 21, 2017, 03:11:25 PM
At the end of the day all most people want is money.  Just look at all the scams and other nonsense that is constantly being pulled in crypto right now.  At their base people are plain greedy.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: October 21, 2017, 03:08:56 PM
I received tokens named N/A without any symbol. Anyone have idea what is this?
Go on etherscan and find the contract address, they all have symbols somewhere if you look hard enough through the info.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: October 20, 2017, 08:05:59 PM
Bitcoin maybe is the Goliath in the cryptoworld! But hey, RaiBlocks is the David!! So I say, arise and behold.. Grin
XRB, or any crypto for that matter, doesn't have to defeat BTC in order to be successful.  There are already numerous examples of that.  People need to stop making that comparison all the time.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: October 19, 2017, 02:46:36 PM
Without the pressure from the captcha farmer, Xrb developers can focus on real application of instant transaction.
I think that this coin would be perfect for micro transactions in games!
You know I never considered that application of it, but now that you mention it it actually would be.  We will need a much quicker wallet though before that can happen.  Many people use desktop ones and waiting days for it to sync is not good in terms of getting people to use your currency.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: October 18, 2017, 03:07:18 PM
ahahahahaha the faucet already ended but still the whiners are not . . .
They'll stop eventually.  Right now is the denial period and afterwards comes acceptance.

And you speak in behalf of the entire XRB community, I assume?
You speak in behalf of all those people who made it possible to get XRB on exchanges.

Since the faucet went off, a lot of people stopped talking about XRB, the key people that were claiming from the faucet.
Are you one of those? I assume you're not.

Faucets are marketing tools and clearly, you're not familiar with marketing or faucets.
There are many ways to market.  In my opinion, and I know I'm not alone in this, the faucet was doing far more harm than good.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: October 10, 2017, 09:16:32 PM
Only if the project has extra confirmations of being legit at this point.  There have been so many scams that it's difficult to invest money at this point, major trust issues.

i am holding my airdrop , only because i dont care about 1k$  , i think that dev will be back again for a last run coz the rich list is still big , this mean they didnt sell everything
You don't care about $1k? !  Ok let me borrow some money since you're rich then and I just won't have to pay you back. lol

The rest of us are concerned about the rapid rise and drop of the coin.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: October 10, 2017, 06:30:29 PM
Doge does seem like a solid investment long term.  It's a fairly safe bet it will take off again at one point or another.
135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: October 10, 2017, 06:25:19 PM
Because of the single biggest problem most of humanity faces, stupidity.  Most people just aren't that intelligent.  Pretty much any problem you can think of when you're dealing with a large amount of people can be traced back to this not so pleasant fact.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are Altcoin Airdrops actually email harvesting? on: October 10, 2017, 03:06:23 PM
Who cares if they are, never use a personal email for these.  Just use a spare junk one you don't mind being potentially hacked and you have nothing to worry about.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: October 10, 2017, 05:19:28 AM
The price of coin is still low. Any news about online shop where we can use XRB to buy products, is already launched or when will be launched?

Next year maybe? The devs are still working on XRB so we'll have to wait on where will this bring us.
Yeah either it bleeds into nothing or later on something big happens.  Either way I don't see anything interesting happening for quite some time.  Long term coin.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] EthereumDARK-ETHD | For REAL investors ONLY | PoS | Bounties | Anonomity★ on: October 10, 2017, 01:30:39 AM
Im convinced 99% of people backing up ethd are on the team. So tell us, how many coins did it take to bribe y'all?  Wink
Exactly, the shills are coming out now to slowdown the decline with their hype and false hope so they can have time to unload the rest of their coins before it goes completely into the ground.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] EthereumDARK-ETHD | For REAL investors ONLY | PoS | Bounties | Anonomity★ on: October 09, 2017, 11:05:02 PM
I'm going to hold on to the coins. Something tells me that the devs are waiting to get everything approved before making the announcement. I think that the announcement is going to be really big. The reward for those who didn't sell will be 50X gains by year end. If I'm wrong, then I'll be wrong. You need to have big balls to be in the crypto space. Big balls!!!
That's called bagholding desperation mentality.  Do yourself a favor and cut losses while you still can.  Long term this can only go right back to where it started at the bottom.

You also need to be able to recognize scams when they show themselves.  Though I guess too many people can't and that's why pump and dumps like this keep working over and over again.

140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: October 09, 2017, 09:21:11 PM
Money.  The reason a lot of people do a lot of things.  So many scams now it's silly.  Create a crap coin, get a bunch of people to buy it, pump it on an exchange and sell everything to disappear on an island for the rest of your life.
