101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are there people here from 2013 who are not millionaires now? on: December 06, 2017, 07:17:06 PM
There are plenty of people who should be, but many sold out too early or just simply made poor trading decisions.  It can be easy to go wrong and hard to go right.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: December 06, 2017, 07:15:17 PM
MyEtherWallet is ideal in this current flood of airdrops.  It's easy to gather up all the eth tokens with it.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unique coins on: December 06, 2017, 07:13:28 PM
I'm not sure if they've been mentioned but the other DAG coins are XRB (Raiblocks) and Byteball.  There are only 3 currently and they're all worth looking into as they seem to be on a slow rise currently.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best place to buy? on: December 06, 2017, 04:17:37 PM
Besides all the usual places like coinbase/local bitcoins you can buy on many forums like this one and Reddit for example.  Just use all the necessary precautions, there are a lot of scammers around.
105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell are Crypto kitties? on: December 05, 2017, 08:33:58 PM
The point of the whole project may be to load the ETH network and bring it down a notch.  Surely the devs had to have considered the strain it would cause...
106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When to Sell Cryptocurrency... on: November 18, 2017, 07:39:19 PM
You can miss out on making money if you're too greedy because it can go up, you never sell, and then it goes back down to where you bought it from.  I would rather make some money than nothing.
107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 18, 2017, 07:34:26 PM
CrypoViki, all the airdrops you just listed have been posted in the previous page
Yeah all that guy is doing is spamming to bring up his post count, probably for the bounty he is involved in.  He could've just posted them all in one post.  Cmon guys this thread is filled with so much spam it's ridiculous.  If you're going to post something at least look back a few pages to see if it's not a duplicate.  Whenever a new drop shows up it gets repeated at least 3 times by 3 different people.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: November 18, 2017, 04:23:00 PM
Has anyone tried their new PoW mining? I tried it and when I check my progress I don't see any info for my account even if I already mined more than an hour.
Wait, what?  Since when is there PoW mining?  Can someone give me some more info on it. Apparently I'm blind and can't find it.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats so special about IOTA? on: November 17, 2017, 08:45:40 PM
XRB, Raiblocks is IOTA before IOTA was a thing.  The zero fee transactions are appealing and I think in time it will take off.  It still has yet to be added to a major exchange and when it does watch out.  The price is very cheap.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: November 17, 2017, 04:09:01 PM
Not BTC.
People have been saying that since it was $1000.  BTC is done, yet here we are.  I wouldn't count it out just yet.
111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold release plan? on: November 17, 2017, 04:06:34 PM
Is there a safe way to redeem BTG yet?  I still have my coins sitting in my wallet from before the fork but haven't done anything since everything seems so sketchy.  This is nothing like the Bitcoin Cash free coins.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can you make a livin in crypto on: November 17, 2017, 04:04:29 PM
If you have money to invest, sure.  If you're good at trading then yes.  The thing is someone has to lose in order for you to win and gain profit.  Trading is pretty much educated gambling and lots of people end up losing.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you using Bitcoin Cash? on: November 16, 2017, 03:55:51 PM
Bitcoin Cash is only worth selling as extra free money.  It's just another alt cash grab by greedy players trying to bring down the true king BTC!
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum: Which is the Future Cryptocurrency on: November 15, 2017, 03:56:46 PM
It depends how far into the future you're talking about.  I think really long term something else comes along that is better than both and becomes the main thing everyone uses.  Mainly because currencies have problems and in the digital space it is possible to create the perfect one and that obviously hasn't been done yet.
115  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: November 14, 2017, 04:20:44 PM
I believe there are certain actions that can be done by a person which are so not ok that they've lost their privileges to be here with the rest of us.  It's fine to remove them, the world is better off for it.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin CASH will take over BTC ? on: November 13, 2017, 08:33:30 PM
No it won't.  Bitcoin Cash is yet another attempt to profit off of BTC's success that will inevitably lead nowhere for the alt.  There is only one King.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: November 12, 2017, 09:53:22 PM
I will also agree with the few people that have mentioned it.  More promotion and an addition to a larger exchange can only help.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best coin for beginners to start trading? on: October 28, 2017, 03:09:06 PM
There isn't a better coin over another really.  The only ones you want to watch out for are the pump and dump coins because you will get left holding bags if you don't know what you're doing.  At least do a little research and see if it's a solid project.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sick of ICOS! 99% of them are not worth the investment! Share your opinion ;) on: October 27, 2017, 03:20:56 PM
I think you're somewhat right, but when you invest in the right ico, you can make some serious cash.
Very true.  We've reach the saturation point where there is a lot of garbage floating around, but you can still be involved in good long term projects if you do the research.  It's just that it requires more research now than it did before, lot of sifting through crap.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In it just for the money? on: October 26, 2017, 03:17:35 PM
The vast majority of people are only in it for the money, I don't care what they say.  They can ramble on about whatever ideology they want, but the rampant abuse and greed that is happening in crypto right now shows this to be true.
